The food is very tasty and the selection is very good.

We ate there for the first time today, quite spontaneously. We're all very happy and full, and we're on our way home now. We highly recommend Rhodes.

Simply fantastic! We hadn't made a reservation and still got a table for 1.5 hours – incredibly flexible. The wait was extremely short: the appetizer and main course arrived immediately after we ordered. The food was excellent, everything fresh and delicious! We were offered plenty of complimentary ouzo, which tastes really good. The ambiance is beautiful and very cozy. The waiters deserve special mention – all incredibly attentive, friendly, and always with a smile. You can immediately tell they do their job with genuine passion. We will definitely be back – highly recommended! 🇬🇷🍽️🥂

We come here quite often, but today we were disappointed 😞 The food was so-so. We ordered two gyros, the portions were more than manageable. My husband was still hungry despite the appetizer, and one dish was cold. The baked gyro was missing fries 🍟, which arrived after 5 minutes upon request. The lamb and bean dish was okay. For dessert, we had the usual honey balls 🙈.. that was a real blast; they were hard and inedible, possibly reheated in the microwave 🤷‍♀️Let's leave speculation aside. Upon request and complaint, we were given new ones, completely different and delicious 😋 😞 Unfortunately, not everything on the bill was correct either. CONCLUSION...we were disappointed 😞 but so much so... THE STAFF WERE STILL COURTEOUS and FRIENDLY WE WON'T BE BACK...All the best

There were seven of us, and it was delicious. The service was very friendly, and everything went quickly. We'll definitely be back.

We were served very friendly from start to finish. The food was excellent value for money. But please remember, everyone likes something different; we were satisfied. At the end, the children get a lollipop, and the traditional welcome is ouzo. We'd be happy to go back.

Wir wären mit Freunden in Halle und waren so gegeistert vom Rhodos das wir während unseres 4 tägigen Aufenthalt gleich zweimal zum Essen im Rhodos waren. Wir waren uns alle einig das das Essen super war, egal ob Vir Haupt- oder Nachspeise. Der Service war auch tadellos.

I spontaneously got a table for four on a Friday. The staff was very friendly, and the food was delicious. Unfortunately, my Metaxe sauce was forgotten during the packing process, but that can happen. It was very crowded. The ambiance was a bit of a letdown because everything was very cramped.

The food was quite good but the cream potatoes were a bit of a disappointment to me as they were very boring and unseasoned. Otherwise everything was good. The only thing I could criticise is that it was quite warm in the restaurant but the service was good and everything else was fine.

Here the guest is still entertained as it should be! The food was served to us with fresh and good products. The service has an open ear and eye, meaning the team is close to the guest. Conclusion from us, please keep it up!!! Antje & Micha

Spontaneous, large group? No problem at the Rhodes Restaurant! Despite the surprise attack and the Easter weekend, we received an extremely warm welcome. Tables arranged quickly, super friendly and attentive service – simply top hospitality. The delicious food was the icing on the cake. Thanks to the great service! We'll be back.

I really can't understand the many positive reviews. We eat out relatively often and can therefore write an objective, honest review. I didn't like the diesel that I ordered. The beer had a very strange taste. The starter (garlic bread) wasn't what I'm used to either. The baguette wasn't fresh and it only tasted slightly like garlic. Too bad! I left the main course I ordered (gyros gratinated with cheese and Metaxa sauce) after 4 forkfuls. Loveless. That's the word that best describes it. It didn't taste like Metaxa sauce. Also the fries that they forgot to give me were not tasty. Coincidence? No! Everyone who was with me had problems with the food. We received some raw gyros, the seasoning of the dishes was off. In between we received drinks that we didn't order. Neither of us liked the free “Kräppelchen” with honey. We were also not accommodated in terms of price. This is an objective, honest and open review and I wish the owner trained the kitchen. Nevertheless, best wishes - at least you were nice to us.

We arrived relatively late, but were still served very courteously. The food was very tasty. For dessert there were honey balls as a “greeting from the kitchen”, which also tasted excellent. Our conclusion: gladly again at any time.

I recently ate at Roddos as I was really looking forward to some Greek food. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to my expectations. First of all, the atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy, but unfortunately the service was a bit slow and not attentive. The staff seemed overwhelmed, which had a negative impact on the overall impression. Unfortunately, the food itself was also disappointing. Although the portions were generous, the quality of the food left a lot to be desired. The souvlaki was dry and overly seasoned, the tzatziki sauce was watery and lacked a fresh taste like you would expect from a good Greek dish. The bread wasn't fresh either, but rather hard and old. The salad wasn't anything special either. The vegetables didn't seem particularly fresh and the portion was rather small compared to the main courses. The Greek wine I tried also didn't have an outstanding taste and unfortunately didn't pair well with the dishes. Overall, my visit to Roddos was a disappointment. I was hoping for an authentic Greek experience, but unfortunately I was disappointed in many areas. Maybe it was just a one-time mistake, but because of this experience I will try another restaurant in the future.

Christmas, Easter, birthday or pre-order, pick up and eat at home. Everything is possible here. We have been guests for many years and really enjoy going there. Ouzo and salad as a starter and, as a farewell, ouzo and loukoumades are part of the service. Here you can enjoy your meal in peace with friends, family or partner. ❤️

We were there on New Year's Eve with tel. Pre-order for food. The food we had met our expectations. What bothered me a bit was the table for 2 people. He stood alone and there was little room to sit. The staff was very attentive despite the hustle and bustle.

The food is very tasty. The service is very friendly. The ambience isn't very Greek but in the end that doesn't matter because it's the food that counts. There is actually everything you could wish for. The operation certainly puts a lot of effort into making sure everything runs smoothly. I don't know if dogs are allowed, but I think so. Unfortunately, the toilet is a bit narrow, but you can manage if you coordinate. 😅 Price performance is completely okay. It was really great that you get a free dessert after your meal.

We had been to Rhodes on a recommendation, to my disillusionment. The ambience is ok but everything is far too narrow, too loud and far too warm. So, broadly speaking, there will be no further visits from my side. I had pork fillet with a baked potato which didn't blow me away for almost 20 euros. The taste of the potato was gray and the meat wasn't really convincing for the price. Over half of the potato was lost, as was the meat (partly extremely burnt) from one of my companions, which didn't really receive any attention from the service. Furthermore, the service makes an effort, but overall there is no structure at all, no one has fixed tables, so everyone runs back and forth at each table, which is also noticeable when handing out food. So price performance is not in harmony. The starter salad was a carelessly thrown together something that could have been saved.

A nice Greek restaurant in Halle. There is a welcome drink, Ouzo. We ordered grilled Feta cheese and as a Greek I would say it was really good. Our main dishes were also really well cooked and tasty. After the main dishes they served us some traditional Greek sweets and Ouzo . Overall, it was a nice experience!

We have been here again for a very long time, having turned our backs on this regular restaurant about 3 years ago because we were extremely disappointed with the food and service. Today we gave the restaurant another chance. A lot has happened since then! We are super satisfied! We will be back.

Ordered 3 dishes for 3 people. 2 didn't get to the 3rd one. After 5 minutes we asked where the third meal was. The waiter assured us it would be there soon. After 10 minutes he came back and asked if we had ordered the 46. However, we ordered something else. After another 2 minutes he came again and asked a second time what we had ordered. While the plates of the others at the table were already empty, the last dish finally arrived. Tzatziki also didn't have any bread. The food was tasty but the rest was more than bad. At most, order food for home.

Overwhelmed staff, wrong order taken, wrong food given. One person didn't get their food until 15 minutes later. Food wasn't really hot anymore. Regular customers are preferred.

Once and never again, bad and unfriendly service, non-alcoholic beer was ordered, alcoholic was given, starters were served with the main course and the rest that I wanted to take with me was simply thrown away.

I was invited there for the first time for a birthday dinner and I know this will be one of my favorite Greek restaurants. The price-performance ratio is top here after the wave of price increases experienced so far in other dining establishments. But the service is also good. Very friendly and courteous employees, who are always available to answer questions and have conversations, and the service is very fast. Was impressed by the huge selection of starters. Free ouzo and honey balls too. I was served a Metaxa like I've never experienced before. Metaxa on a glass filled with hot water to independently adjust the drinking temperature.

Hi everyone. We wanted to enjoy culture again and go out to eat beforehand. Since Greek food is always a good choice, we chose this restaurant. The ambience invites you to linger and the service is very nice. Now comes the big but, which we don't know from other Greek restaurants. The rump steak was mixed, the broccoli was cold and the food and drinks were served incorrectly. I can still see that something is messed up once, but not three times in a row. It's a shame, but something like that shouldn't happen and that's why we won't be visiting this restaurant again..
