The only good thing at the moment is the restaurant itself - very cozy, good furnishings. The waiter was nice and quick, but forgot to say that the menu correction (fried potatoes instead of boiled potatoes) costs €3 - there was no note in the menu either. Unfortunately, he apologized succinctly, that was it. We've eaten better fried potatoes (floury potatoes and they were already falling apart and very lightly seasoned). Home cooking, as mentioned by some, doesn't quite cut it; You cook better at home. Since we were in community and hungry, we "unfortunately" didn't return it. That would have taken unnecessary time and it remains doubtful whether the fried potatoes would have turned out better.

We went to a Christmas party in the Strieses Biertunnel. In itself it's fine there. BUT it's way too loud there. You can hardly understand what the person opposite is saying. It's a shame, otherwise it's fine.

We ate there. Steak Letscho and Rostbrätel. Both with fried potatoes. Everything is a far cry from what the dish is called. Fried potatoes were unseasoned and only lukewarm, Letscho had more onions and couldn't be recognized as such, unfortunately Rostbrätel couldn't be recognized as such either. We missed the spice in both dishes. A little more flavor in terms of spices would have been nice. Unfortunately there was only one waiter so the waiting time was a little longer.

Wonderful restaurant with a lot of charm and actually quite cozy. Points were deducted for the acoustics and the very, very uncomfortable seating. The benches are damn hard. You don't want to sit there for long and at some point you'll sweat on the padded chairs. Well, yes. You can't have everything. Everything else is great! Food, service - great! Therefore highly recommended

The Striese is always a good address for well-kept German cuisine and good drinks.

We got 4 places at short notice, later everything was full. Big praise to the waitress, a young man ran the place. Despite the stress, super friendly and fast!!!!!!!!!

A place with traditional German cuisine. Large portions. Fast and friendly service. The waiter spoke English, which is rare in Germany.

It's been a while since I've been there (several times), but the beer tunnel remains vivid in my memory. Excellent food, nice atmosphere - also outside - and especially service that I have never experienced in this quality before and never again. Even with a larger, lively tour group, the beer supply was consistently good. Even some time later, many of the participants still fondly - almost wistfully - remember the "Queen of the Waitresses".

Price/performance is right. The waiter is nice and friendly. The food good. My advice is to book a table in advance.

Beautiful, rustic German restaurant.

Luckily we got the last table here in the evening. The food was really tasty with great portions. Based on the name, we would have expected a larger selection of beers, but the freshly tapped one was enough. Service was courteous and the kids were given a children's portion without further ado.

We would be happy to come back.

Very rustic restaurant and therefore a bit louder in terms of noise. But the taste and price-performance are great. So always happy 👌 Service was always friendly and courteous. Of course you should reserve a table.

We spontaneously went for a meal in Striese's beer tunnel today and were really impressed. The atmosphere in this restaurant is very welcoming and the food is very good. The portions were very generous and perfectly rounded off in terms of taste.

Great food and motivated staff!

There are reasons why we come here almost every week. Great and fast service, delicious food and nice ambience. The prices are still reasonable (despite increases over the last few years). In summer you sit comfortably on the terrace facing the university square, in winter in the rustic restaurant. My favorites are the baked sheep's cheese and the beef steak.

The poor guy from the service only managed to ask about the food wishes after the second round of drinks. We had already been sitting in the restaurant for over an hour. Only when the restaurant was half empty did he have time to check regularly to see if we had any further requests.

Unfortunately not enough staff at Christmas time. This resulted in a 1 hour waiting time to order the food, and another 1 hour to eat. That's pretty intense.

The Muscovy duck was nothing. Sorry. Still a great restaurant. Schnitzel is always possible. Of course we'll be back.

Voll meine Erwartungen erfüllt. Eher fleischlastig und deftig. Drei gute Biere vom Fass… Gemütliche Atmosphäre. Trotzdem nicht zu laut.

In unserem Lokal/Biergarten ist es auch nach 22 Uhr noch möglich, Speisen zu bestellen. Wir möchten darauf hinweisen, dass das Speiseangebot mit zunehmender späterer Uhrzeit möglicherweise eingeschränkt ist. Diese Informationen wurden Ihnen bereits während der telefonischen Reservierung mitgeteilt, weshalb mich Ihre Kritik überrascht. Trotz Ihrer Verspätung haben wir Ihnen eine Auswahl verschiedener Speisen angeboten, die sich nicht nur auf Würzfleisch beschränken. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Unsere Bedienung war ein sehr freundlicher und netter junger Mann. Der Tisch nebenan hatte sehr viel Spaß, deshalb war es auch ein bisschen laut. Was mich aber nicht gestört hat.

Das Essen ist lecker und schmeckt sehr gut, die Bedienung ist aufmerksam und schnell Es empfiehlt sich vorzubestellen.

Ordentlich deftige Küche. Nettes uriges Ambiente. Empfehlenswert, aber nichts weltbewegendes.

Gemütliche Atmosphäre, gutes Bier 7nd leckeres Essen. Wir haben den letzten freien Tisch kurz nach 18 Uhr noch bekommen. Reservierung empfohlen

Sehr angenehmes, in Holz gehaltenes, gemütliches Ambiente mit nettem Personal und guter Getränkeauswahl. Saubere Toiletten und extra in-door Raucherbereich. Normale Preise und angenehmes, gemischtes Publikum (Alter von Studenten bis Rentner). Ich bin sehr gerne hier :)

Leckere Küche, ich war hier mit Freunden zum Geburtstag und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Deutsche Hausmannskost gepaart mit meterweise Bier gelungenes Konzept.
