We were surprised by the subtle way the food was seasoned!

I found the quality of the sushi, especially the fish and the nori, to be truly excellent. It tasted delicious, and the staff was very friendly. I'd gladly come again.

What can I say — my favorite Asian restaurant in Halle! The food is always delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I’ve been here several times over the past few months, and it never disappoints. Here are some pictures from my recent visits — highly recommended!

My personal favorite place to have sushi. Rhe atmosphere is perfect, elegant and romantic. The food looks beautiful and tastes good. I just don’t recommend ramen, has nothing to do with the traditional Japanese one. But the sushi is always the best choice.

Our visit left nothing to be desired. The service was incredibly friendly, the food arrived relatively quickly, and the cocktails were truly delicious. And about the food: We've eaten a lot of sushi, so we can certainly judge the quality. And so we can only say that we thought it was fantastic. Delicious. And the value for money was also excellent. We can recommend the appetizer mix for two people. It included almost everything you'd find on the menu as an appetizer. And the sushi that followed (we had a rainbow roll, salmon makis, tuna makis, tuna nigiri, white fish nigiri, salmon crunchy roll, and my husband had the chef's tip—we can't name everything) was of very high quality and simply a delight. Perfectly put together.

Anyone who reads my posts knows how critical I am. But today... people... I wish I weren't full so I could keep eating forever. Everything is beautifully presented, and the taste of everything (sushi, duck, rice, noodles, etc.) is simply fantastic. Absolutely recommended.

We celebrated my wife's birthday at the restaurant with six people and had a wonderful, quiet table. This was our fourth time eating there. The food was once again excellent, and the server was very kind and attentive. The women fell in love with the cocktails. My wife even got dessert on the house. Mimi is the best Asian sushi restaurant in the Halle area. We'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed... Sorry, I can't understand the positive reviews. I've been traveling in Asia for 30 years myself and am familiar with Asian cuisine, whether in Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, or Singapore. I know it all. The atmosphere and the decor are good, but that's where it ends, unfortunately. Maybe that's why I'm spoiled... Of course, I know that there are differences in Germany... but there are other competitors that I won't mention here that are far better. For me, it's more show than substance here...

We found a table very quickly, and the server was extremely friendly. We ordered sushi, which was delicious. We also tried dishes from the tofu menu (tofu in peanut sauce) as a vegetarian option, as well as a dish from the chicken menu ("Kingdom of Heaven"). The ambiance was very pleasant. A real highlight in Halle⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Asian restaurant Mimi impressed us across the board. The food is super fresh, lovingly prepared, and simply delicious. 😋 But what we were particularly impressed with were the desserts: the fried, flambéed ice cream in a coconut coating was a dream – crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and perfectly balanced. The sesame balls are also highly recommended. The ambiance is modern and cozy, and the service is very friendly and attentive. You immediately feel welcome. The value for money is also good – we'll definitely be back!

On the evening of May 1st, four hours before the Intercity train to Nuremberg departed, I was looking for a restaurant. I just managed to get a warm meal. And the people at the next table said it was quiet for once, as it's usually always full and there are no free tables. This critical guest is thrilled! From the menu to the drinks, beautiful cutlery and plates, to the service and vegan options, everything was top-notch! Prices were surprisingly low for a large portion. I've never eaten such perfect seitan! The taste and seasoning were phenomenal! Outstanding: The waiter presented and read the bill and asked if everything was correct. In a double sense: YES!! Bonus tip: Live music at the Volkstheater around the corner made for an unforgettable evening in my beloved Halle, the "new Berlin." I can hardly wait for my second visit!

I've been here many times, and even as a Vietnamese, I can say it's the best restaurant in Halle. I made reservations for each visit, so everything went smoothly. I really love the homemade drinks. Even the delicious food comes in super-sized portions. So, I'm absolutely satisfied, and the dishes are worth the price.

After a day trip exploring Halle, we were looking for a place to recharge—and this restaurant caught our attention thanks to its glowing reviews. We decided to stop in for a proper lunch, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Everything here just works: the service is warm and attentive without being overbearing, the interior is both cozy and tastefully styled, and the food? Simply outstanding. We started with the Tom Kha soup, which was full of depth and flavor, and shared a portion of fresh summer rolls that were delicate and well-balanced. My main dish—Udon noodles with chicken—was perfectly executed, full of umami, and just the right portion. My partner’s tofu dish was equally satisfying, with great textures and a lovely sauce to tie everything together. To round things off, we shared sesame balls for dessert—crispy on the outside, soft and fragrant on the inside. A great finish. The value for money here is absolutely on point, and the location is also super convenient—easy to reach no matter where you park. If you’re in Halle and have even a hint of a craving for Asian cuisine, this place should be high on your list. A total win.

The restaurant deserves its excellent rating. After a long time, Halle has finally gained an Asian restaurant with MiMi that you can completely trust. It's always busy - seating is usually only available by reservation. Every dish and every drink is delicious and of impeccable quality. Closed on Mondays.

My experience here was not so good. I order some noodles that were not cooked enough and I could not eat my dish. When telling the waiter, the answer was that "the sauce and the fish were good, so 2 out of 3 things were well cooked". I was not offered an alternative or to do not pay the dish, and the waiter was also expecting a tip. Very disappointing experience.

We have been guests here several times and have always felt comfortable. The waiters are all very friendly and accommodating, even if something goes wrong, they look for a customer-friendly solution without having to ask for it. The food, especially the sushi, is great, and the chef specials are highly recommended. All products are high quality and fresh and you can taste all the components in the sushi, completely delicious. I can therefore recommend MiMi without exception and will definitely eat here more often.

The food tasted good but unfortunately my soup wasn't really hot

So at the time we were eating there I would have given the whole thing 5/5 stars. However, my friends and I then got food poisoning and were vomiting 24/7. So it remains with one star and a clear warning for everyone who is thinking about eating there :)

Outstanding! I haven't found anything comparable so far (except at the I Hotel Merkur Sakura). Including the service! Thank you! Was on February 11th. here for the first time, on February 12th. again and I'm already looking forward to tomorrow. We're happy to drive an hour for this pleasure.

Today I got confirmation of what I heard about the "MiMi". Since it is always very busy (reservations are recommended for the weekends), I was happy to finally be able to test it myself... The service is very friendly and attentive. In the stylish ambience you can enjoy the freshly prepared and very tasty food. Price-performance ratio is extremely good. Table was reserved for several people.

Service and friendliness exceptionally good. Food very good. Unfortunately, the flambéed ice cream from the deep fryer wasn't completely convincing. You also notice the wintery cold air coming from the entrance when the door opens. Even if you sit a few meters away. The big curtain doesn't help much. The step that you can't see through the curtain also seems dangerous to me. I tripped over it both when entering and leaving the restaurant. Regardless of the criticisms, we would visit MiMi again :) Addendum 02/02/2025: Points deducted in the overall ranking and in service on our second visit a month later. I made a reservation online for my wife's birthday and communicated this in advance. Unfortunately, none of the employees commented on this special day. Too bad.

MiMi... there were three of us and we were greeted very friendly and very curious about what the kitchen had to offer, after we chose and our food was served in a short time despite the busy restaurant, from then on there was nothing but wow for the eyes and eyes The icing on the cake is the ice cream prepared at the table. Super tasty & super nice service!

Last weekend we made reservations for four in the evening. The restaurant was well filled. It was cozy, we had a table in a corner. Despite the many guests, you couldn't tell that the male waiter was working so hard. The young man was extremely friendly. We found the hospitality very pleasant. The food is also particularly worth mentioning. Both the sushi and the curries were very appetizing and delicious. We really enjoy eating Asian food and haven't been able to experience a visit to an Asian restaurant at such a high level very often.

It was our first time there and I only have positive things to say. I had the V10 and split starters V1 and V6. I found the main course very well seasoned and the tofu skewer was a varied surprise! Tofu breaded with mushrooms on a skewer was very good. My companion wasn't entirely convinced by his peanut sauce, but he also enjoyed it. The service was great. Our waitress was very, very nice and also specifically asked about allergens. The ambience is also really nice, a visit is absolutely worth it! Update: I found out afterwards that the tofu breading is not vegan, despite me asking beforehand. It can happen, but it shouldn't

Yesterday I reserved a table for 6 people for Saturday at 5 p.m. I received confirmation by email that we can stay from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. because from 7 p.m. it is again reserved for other people, but there is no information on the website that only allows 2 hours. I am very dissatisfied Because I was left without a table and the staff couldn't find a solution 😞

Super delicious dishes, well prepared, very cozy atmosphere (there is no typical Asian music playing or luckily there wasn't any to be heard), the service is very attentive, friendly and is also available for little jokes, a super young team, the prices are right between €13.00 - €18.00 per dish We just got out. Were at Mimi for the first time and will definitely be back. Preserve for yourself and us what you have created with it. The only 'shortcoming' is that you can only sit here until 10pm during the week.

It was amazing, there was just a small problem. The service (waiters) were not focussed on the surrounding. I've been looking around for few minutes. Then in the moment of the order the waiter did a small mistake that it's not worth talking about. At the end they surprised us with a "nach spiesen". Worth visiting.
