Review for the Manin restaurant in St. Wendel – breakfast experience
We went to Manin in St. Wendel for breakfast and overall it was a good experience. The selection was rich and varied: There were boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, various rolls and bread, a good selection of cheese and sausage as well as jam, yoghurt and muesli. Everything was fresh and tasted perfect.
What I personally was missing was a little more fruit or perhaps a sweet component like waffles or pancakes - that would have rounded off the breakfast a bit. But overall it was a solid breakfast that served its purpose. If you're looking for a hearty selection, this is definitely the place for you.
Conclusion: Good, filling breakfast with solid quality - for me a little more sweet or fresh would have been the icing on the cake.
The worst food I've ever eaten. I had gratinated noodles with kebab meat and I could choose between red and white sauce. I chose red but didn't get any sauce. Soaked noodles with lots of noodles, water, kebab meat and cheese.
Food absolutely doesn't match the ambience. You get canteen-level food, the price follows that, but overall you leave with the liberating feeling of not having to come here anymore. It's a shame ☹️
We were here at a crime dinner in a larger banquet hall. This one was decorated appropriately and quite cutely. It has to be appropriate for such an occasion, as the actors also race through the audience. The food surprised me. It was really tasty. From the starter to the dessert for the evening, it was a success. No unpleasant long waiting times. Everything together per table. Tastes really good. Good portion sizes. Great value for money. And the evening was really great with the ensemble. We'll do that again.
Good delivery service with a relatively large selection of pizzas that taste good. There is the option to order and pay online. Larger orders for parties are also possible without any problems and are delivered on time.
I have to admit that we are no longer regular guests at the Globus Restaurant. As children, we used to eat liver dumplings with our parents after shopping. Later it was the same with my children. Of course, not everyone had to eat the same thing, but this dish has always been very popular at the Globus Restaurant. Also with us. There were no more liver dumplings in the new restaurant. We then asked several times but nothing happened. We only went to the new restaurant a few times. The dishes were okay but nothing earth-shattering. The tables are often messed up by their predecessors and you hardly feel like sitting down at a table like that. Does anyone even clean there or is it just a matter of saving on staff?
Otherwise the tables should be checked more often, some of them are really dirty. And it doesn't taste so good that you have to clean the table yourself.
Today I bought my children a Happy Meal and myself an MC Tasty and a small fries.
When I got home, the toys were missing from both Happy Meals and my small fry was missing too. That's an absolute joke and it wasn't the first time something was missing. The result was two sad children top performance.
After a hike on the 5-Weiher Tour, we returned to the treasure chest with 6 people and plenty of hunger. Admittedly, the ambience didn't leave the best first impression. BUT we were very positively surprised by the food served (cream schnitzel and cheeseburger). We received a very warm welcome and would definitely come back.
We ordered our lunch from this provider via Lieferando in the hope that it would taste good, because the provider has a good rating in the app, which is incomprehensible. Delivery time 1 hour 20 minutes, meat was NOT DONE although I wrote please fry it well, some raw pieces, I won't let my children eat that, too much sauce, no onions, half a kilo of iceberg lettuce.
27 € ended up in the trash.
Very low in taste.
