It took a very long time for the drinks to arrive. But not just at our table. After placing the drink order, it took a good 15 minutes until we had our drinks. But the food came quickly for the number of guests and it was delicious. So we would probably eat there again. Prices are moderate and okay.

We came by without a table reservation, luckily there was just a table available. The service team was very nice and knew exactly what they were doing, the niece received a straw and, as a friendly gesture, a packet of Haribo Gold Bears. As a burly guy, I was fed up with the schnitzel and it was very tender, just like a Viennese-style dish should be. The rest of the family was also full and they enjoyed it just as much. I would love to come back, really brilliant!

The two of us were there for breakfast. It was a while ago, it was warmer and you could sit outside. We sat outside and ordered. While we were briefly inside, our table outside was boarded. Then we moved, luckily there was still something available. The breakfast buffet was swarming with wasps. Not really nice and I didn't want to try some things anymore. The promised crepe was only available after repeated requests. I don't have to have it again.

Everything was fine. The only thing I would complain about was that the cutlery for sausage and cheese was often missing. There were also no tongs for bread, rolls and pretzels. Otherwise everything was good 👍

Was there for breakfast today - a disaster. Too many people were crammed into a small space, the selection at the buffet was more than manageable and the quality was poor. The only thing worth highlighting is a nice young woman in service. Overall actually 0 stars!!!

Every square meter is used ruthlessly here. The tables are so close together that you're almost sitting on your neighbor's lap. The buffet is more than modest. The boiled eggs are in a pot with the meatballs and sausages.

Super delicious food, delicious homemade cake and coffee. In summer you can also sit outside in the beautiful ambience of the Schlossplatz.

Horrible service. The waitress is unable to collect properly because there is apparently not enough change in her wallet. In the middle of cashing in she disappears and doesn't come back for ages, cashing in somewhere else. Then fumble around again until she's forced enough of a tip because you finally want to leave and supposedly can't let her out. Where is something like that? Or could she just not do the math?

Unfortunately I can't rate the manin in St. Wendel according to the actual star system. My husband and I reserved a table for two people. When we were there, the restaurant was very busy. We were given the last table in the corner of the first compartment. This place was so underground. My husband had to sit on the corner. He was unable to place the chair correctly because there were people sitting all around it. We asked for another table, unfortunately, according to the waiter, it wasn't possible. We then got up and left the restaurant. We would have liked to try the breakfast buffet.

We were given a table in the farthest corner, but after a short time it was so full and narrow that we couldn't leave the table. Really great at a buffet! We had to beg for cutlery. That was my last visit here.

Was there yesterday with our friends. The food was good!! But stay away from the ice cream sundaes. A scoop of ice cream and lots and lots of cream. So cream sundaes not ice cream sundaes. And this for 5.50 euros!!!!

Today we went to the breakfast buffet with the whole family. Everything was actually fine until I saw that the sliced ​​bread was moldy. I told a service person and she replaced the bread. Something like that absolutely shouldn't happen. How old must the bread have been for it to be moldy? So it wasn't fresh bread. It must have been a few days old and of course had been stored very poorly. This is an absolute no go!!!!

€9.90 for a breakfast buffet is an unbeatable price these days, and the crowds are correspondingly large. The operators want to accommodate as many people as possible and so the guests are not only placed in the main area of ​​the restaurant but also on the upper floor. You have to go downstairs to get food from the buffet. The advantage of the upper room is that it is not so loud and you can have a good conversation. The food offered was good. However, the size of the buffet did not suit the number of people present at all, so that some plates and bowls were empty very quickly, the queues were long and the service staff couldn't refill them quickly enough. The drinks also took an extremely long time. One person at the table got their cappuccino after we had almost finished breakfast and only after we asked again. The service staff should not be blamed at all for this. Despite the stress, the young woman was very friendly and tried hard. I think there were simply too many people for the capacity of the kitchen, counter and service.

The service was very attentive but there was also a lot going on...the drinks were delicious although I couldn't taste the alcohol...it was probably forgotten after two drinks...but a very nice place where you can sit outside...

So I imagined something different to eat on a Sunday lunchtime when the weather was nice. We sat outside and the employees had to drive around with a “lizard” and cause noise for almost 2 hours. The employees were apparently busy with other things and didn't even come to take the orders (at that point 30-40 minutes had passed and there was hardly anything going on). To make matters worse, the food wasn't good either. Fried potatoes were more like boiled potatoes and the salad was just mush because apparently too much dressing was prepared in the kitchen. The schnitzel had no taste. All in all we won't go there again.

I only had coffee and cake ☕🍰 and they were both very good😊 but for a piece of cheese cream 🍰 €5.50 was already a proud price.

The nice waitress said I should please put my pizza box with pizza on the free table behind us, which I did. Mineral water is served in a glass. In my opinion, this is not permitted under the Table and Mineral Water Ordinance. The waitress was asked about it, but of course didn't know anything. The “Burning Man” pizza is also quite spicy. On some days it's quite crowded and noisy due to the all-you-can-eat clientele (make a reservation in advance). The toilets are on the coolly styled first floor, which makes it a bit difficult for people with walking difficulties or pregnant women. Otherwise everything is tip top.

We were there for breakfast. Selection was small. But there isn't really much space at the buffet. A sign near the eggs would make sense. These have to be cooked yourself and unfortunately the waiter only gave an explanation quite late and after two failed attempts.

We recently had dinner with the family at Mamin's. The food was a disaster. The dishes were not freshly prepared, but only warmed up (salad with a brownish discoloration, schnitzel partly burnt, you have to look for the sauce and field over all the spices). In any case, they are not fresh products. We were very disappointed.

I would definitely have expected a larger selection of main courses at a break. I'm used to a larger selection at brunch. I also think there is room for improvement in frying a chicken breast until it serves as an alternative to shoe soles.

I am very surprised at the many positive votes. I live in St. Wendel and sit on the Schlossplatz at least twice a week. I can still remember the early days of this restaurant, where I raved about the pizza or even the spaghetti Bolognese. The food was so good that I even overlooked the deficiencies in the service. But those days are long gone. At Manin St. Wendel I could observe how the quality has steadily declined. The pizzas are not what they once were and for me personally they now have the level - as harsh as it may sound - of frozen pizzas. The only advantage of this place is the location.

Wir hatten zu zweit kurzfristig noch einen Tisch in der oberen Etage bekommen. Bruschetta hatten wir als Vorspeise bestellt, kam dann leider mit dem Hauptgang. Ich hatte das Rumpsteak mit Pommes, mein Kollege Lachs mit Reis. Zum Abschluss gabs noch eine Waffel mit Vanilleeis und Sahne. Alles war sehr lecker und die Wartezeiten vollig ok, obwohl viel los war.

Organisation gleich null!!!Beim Aufstehen wurden wir direkt gefragt ob wir überhaupt bezahlt hätten...eine Frechheit... weiterempfehlen werde ich diesen Laden nicht

We visited the restaurant with 3 people. There was no day ticket because of the market. Of the dishes we ordered, only one was actually halfway okay, namely the meatballs with the fries. The schnitzel was dry, but was topped by the fried fish, which looked like brown coal. The service was positive, friendly and accommodating as always.

We ate “Flammenkuchen” in the Manin during the “Beautiful Easter Market” in the historic part of St. Wendel. Despite the crowded restaurant, great service, from reception, to allocation and ordering. Super friendly waiter. Top. Everyone works as a team, has everything under control and keeps an eye on the guests. Nobody had to wait long. (Some restaurants could learn a lesson here). Despite the restaurant being full, there was no rush, the waiters were very relaxed and super friendly. Tarte flambée delicious. Top. Deserves 5 stars and definitely recommend this restaurant. Don't understand the negative reviews. (maybe it also depends on the staff of waiters and waitresses, as I can imagine that many students top up their pocket money there). I was here for the first time. I really liked the atmosphere, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was sufficient and good. There were a few types of sausage, cheese, salmon, scrambled eggs, hard-boiled eggs, mozzarella, various jams, muesli, a bit of fruit, yoghurt and small sweet rolls. You sit comfortably and can linger there 😊. Coffee was also very good. Nice shop for young and old.

Breakfast for 3 people for 70 euros as coffee is not included is really steep for the quality of the buffet. In addition, it was uncomfortably cold and uncomfortable. Without a jacket you froze because the heating was switched off. Unfortunately no recommendation.

Food is still good. But what is simply a complete lie is the announcement on Facebook that there are no price increases. Online prices are lower than on the physical card on site. The prices have always been decent, but now to add more and take away some of the ingredients from dishes, the customers are being ripped off Example: Farmer's salad was previously served with a small ring of Lyonnaise cheese. It was taken away (previously) and the price has now been increased again by €2. So a whopping €16 for a few leaves of lettuce, some fried potatoes and a fried egg. In general everything was repackaged. I don't mind paying for good quality, but then don't make statements like that.

Great service and food. You can't expect ambience and on Friday evenings it's impossible to have a conversation because of the noise. Otherwise super tasty and nice service.

We were there to have breakfast. The buffet was very... clear, to put it nicely. For €16.90 per person I would have expected a little more, especially since you had to pay extra for the drinks. However, service was very nice.

The food is okay, although I can mainly rate the pasta and pizzas here. The currywurst, for example, is great! The service and ambience are fabulous and the prices are reasonable too. What I can highly recommend here, however, is to simply sit on the market square and enjoy a beer in front of the fountain under the trees with beautiful lighting.
