This is what we mean by having a good home-style meal. Then the innkeeper comes to the table. Great food, nice atmosphere and really nice staff. And at acceptable prices.

. Since 2023 we have stopped here several times after a hike, both in the beer garden and in the restaurant. Always a special experience. 👍 A clear menu that I like, there is also something for vegetarians and vegans; friendly service; a quaint restaurant; a great landlady/chef. And, above all: delicious food. And reasonable prices. The fact that there is 🍺 Benedictine wheat there is the icing on the cake for me. If you are a larger group, you need to be patient and expect that the dishes will not all arrive at the same time due to kitchen capacity. You can live with that. 😉 Reservation is recommended... Very nice, delicious food and drink, world class fries, great grappa and forest fruit liqueur. There was also a nice conversation. My wife, my daughter and I felt very comfortable, thank you

Order a chicken teriyaki sub without tomatoes. Get this sub without meat and with tomatoes

It's a bit unfair to only serve a handful of fries with a dish that costs €24.90. I then find it outrageous to charge €4.50 for a repeat order. In terms of taste, there was nothing wrong with the three medallions, which were a bit too small. In another dish, the minced steaks were not cooked through and had to be put back in the pan. (It can happen.) You can expect more for the prices.

We ordered by phone. Due to an inquiry we called twice in one evening. Both times our order was listened to first, only for us to be passed on because the woman apparently didn't understand us due to a language barrier, so we had to say everything again. I ordered fried noodles with my dish, but ended up with plain boiled rice, unfried, without anything. The breaded chicken was extremely dark so it was hard and dry and I finished it after 3 pieces. The accompanying curry sauce tasted like water with curry powder. The sweet and sour sauce we ordered was really cold, as if it had just come from the fridge. The only positive thing to mention is the relatively quick delivery time, but that didn't help me with this meal either. My friend’s pizza was probably “okay”.
