This was my third visit to the inn, and I haven't been disappointed. Friendly service, delicious food, good drinks, short waiting times – what more could you want? Simply excellent! 👍

A rustic brewery with a corresponding atmosphere, which can get quite lively during peak hours. The food is very tasty (more traditional German fare), the portions are large, and there are also options for vegans and vegetarians on the menu. The staff is attentive and friendly.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my milestone birthday on November 9th at the event venue on the first floor of the Hennefer Wirtshaus. What can I say? It was fantastic! From the planning to the party itself, the friendly, cheerful young team who took such good care of us, the delicious food, the beautiful location – everything was perfect. There aren't enough stars to give it all. Thank you for everything!

I ordered foam on my Kölsch from the student waitress after I didn't get any foam and she told me to say so at the bar because she only brings the beer... I found that concerning and very unprofessional... :( Therefore, only one star... but the beer was cold enough. I probably won't be going there again!

A classic brewery pub with a corresponding level of noise, but conversation at the table was still possible. Our party of six ordered various dishes, including a Halloween burger that was a fantastic interpretation (see photo) and very tasty. We received a warm welcome, and the service was consistently friendly and attentive.

The food is delicious and suitable for everyone, whether vegan, vegetarian, or meat-eater. The atmosphere is also very pleasant and inviting. The service is very attentive and leaves nothing to be desired. I highly recommend the vegan currywurst with fries (extra spicy).

Located in the heart of Hennef, this pub is housed in the old train station, offering a restaurant and a lovely outdoor area. The design has great potential, but unfortunately, it's extremely loud – especially in the restaurant area. Even at low occupancy, there's always a lot of fuss about possible reservations for this area. The quality of the food has fluctuated wildly for years. Some days you get quite good dishes, while other days it feels like pure convenience, including undercooked meat (a cordon bleu, so to speak, medium rare), borderline-dark currywurst, chewy fries, and rude comments if you raise your hand. Conclusion: Good for drinking beer in a group; I usually go elsewhere for a meal or a beer alone.

The food is usually only lukewarm and has to be sent back. Very annoying. Unfortunately, it's very dark in the dining room. It's a shame that it's not wheelchair accessible (including an accessible restroom). This would allow even more guests with disabilities and seniors to come and eat, especially around lunchtime. The service is very quick and efficient. Tables are cleaned immediately after guests leave.

The food today was solid. I've had better here. The service staff were very friendly and accommodating. The TV was turned up so loud you could hear your own voice.

The last 3 times we've been there it was a disaster!!! And this really was the very last time!! The food is just awful!!! It makes no difference whether the place is full or almost empty. The fillet was completely overcooked, the beef was full of tendons and was once again far from cooked to perfection. Two items were missing from the grill plate and, when we asked for them, they simply didn't bring them back until the very end. The server then waived our two drinks. If I could give negative stars, I would have given the food a total disappointment!!!!! A total disappointment :-( A few years ago, the food there was really good.

After a few rounds of geocaching, we stopped here. The draft beer was delicious. We had the Wiener Schnitzel and the Champion Schnitzel. Both were highly recommended. The service was very attentive.

At such exorbitant prices, you'd expect good food. But it wasn't. 1. The pulled pork was extremely dry. 2. The veal liver was tough and dry. 3. The bratwurst wasn't fresh and smelled moldy. €60 for that is pretty annoying.

I went there with my colleagues to finish off the day with dinner after a canoe trip. We reserved a table for 15 people with no problem. There is room for a large group. The service was quick and attentive. Everyone enjoyed the food. I had a salad with chicken fillet. My colleague ordered a currywurst with extra hot sauce. And the sauce was very, very hot. The sauce had a 300,000 Scoville unit. We asked specifically for more heat. For comparison, Tabasco has a heat rating of around 5,000 Scoville units. So if you like it spicy, you'll be well catered for. We were all satisfied.

The melon pizza salad is highly recommended

Quite OK for a place in the middle of town. Four of us met here for something to eat and drink after work. Unfortunately, the trees have grown quite a bit; last year we could sit in the sun. Now it's just too cold without the sun, so we didn't last as long. The food was good, but not any better. I remembered it being tastier last year. The service was very attentive. We left after two hours and each paid about €40. That was also less last year.

Jain. The service staff was very attentive. The restaurant inside looked incredibly cozy. The outside area was neat. We all had currywurst with fries of varying levels of spiciness. I didn't like it that much. Sauce was too sweet for me. The others thought the currywurst was good. Unfortunately the chef was in love 😉, the fries were a bit too salty. We would give the inn a second chance because of the politeness and the ambience.

The service was great! Unfortunately it was very loud, but that's to be expected in the inn! The food is average! So not bad, but not good either! A lot made in the fryer, but also some of our own well-made things, like the salad and the sauces! For me, the card could be smaller and more homemade! A good meatball with potato salad and fresh potato pancakes Almost everyone loves it! So it's better to make it yourself, no finished products in the deep fryer, and a smaller menu, then everything will work great! But don't get me wrong, it was ok!

I have never experienced such a child-friendly restaurant in the Rhein-Sieg district. Food is great too. It's worth it.

The restaurant is located in an old railway station. This gave me relaxing vibes. The waiters were utterly friendly and attentive. I ordered their "Sauerbraten mit Rosinensoße, Apfelrotkohl, Kartoffelknödeln und Mandeln". This classic dish that represents NRW federal state of Germany really lived up to its reputation. This pre-pickled and well-braised beef dish was the perfect choice during cold days. You could taste the balance of the acidity and the body of the red wine together with the brown broth as the base of the sauce. The mixture of spices gave you warm and homey feeling. The sweetness of the plump raisins was not overpowering the acidic taste. The braised red cabbage added another fruity dimension to the dish. The potato dumplings were perfectly cooked. They had nice bounciness when you chewed. Last but not least, it was the almond slivers that added nice textural contrast.

Looking for lunch we ended up at the Hennfer Wirtshaus and were pleasantly surprised. The ambience is appealing, good middle-class rustic but modern enough, the staff is friendly and the food is highly recommended. My husband was very happy with the lunch dish and the price/performance ratio and I was also very happy with my vegan currywurst. I found it extremely tasty and also the curry sauce, which didn't just consist of warm ketchup. I rarely eat sauces like this, but this one was really tasty. In any case, we will probably eat there more often. We really liked and enjoyed it. By the way, there are still vegan and vegetarian options, I'll try them little by little.

This year we had our Christmas party at the Hennef Wirtshaus and were thrilled. Really very good food, the portions and the prices are right here! Very nice service. We'd love to come back.

Went here to eat with work colleagues. The kitchen is absolutely top. Good German cuisine. The service is always friendly. So if you're in the area you should definitely take a look.

I just miss sparkling water. Unfortunately there is only this unspeakably superfluous and boring medium of water :-( and still water. Otherwise everything is great. Original, good dishes, super friendly service

Very attractive and cozy location, extremely friendly and efficient staff, beautifully prepared, tasty food, the soups are definitely recommended, as are the chocolate cakes with a liquid center as dessert. A little more space between the tables and the neighboring chairs would be desirable, but that doesn't detract from the top grade. We would love to come back here.
