I can't quite understand the glowing reviews. The food was good, but not exceptional compared to the descriptions in the menu. e.g. B.: Boccoli tomatoes, chile, vodka (spicy): pureed tomatoes with chili? Sorry, there wasn't anything spicy - the chili was only allowed to watch the cook. The others liked it and it was nicely prepared. But there is still room for improvement for “fine dining”.
The service was good and nice, as was the ambience in the restaurant.
You can use the shared toilet area with the cinema, but honestly, you should avoid going there.
I was there yesterday with my children and we were very satisfied. The food was delicious, the service was very good, and we can definitely recommend the Central.
Worst carbonara and lasagne I've ever had. For which I waited over an hour, although we're 300m apart. Glad I also ordered those pizza buts with cheese. They were the best of it, and only they allowed me to go on with the lasagne, by killing its taste. Need those calories to survive, after all.
Really, you're better off with frozen lasagne from a market. On the verge of inedible, or actually inedible - don't know, only managed to finish half of it, because I was starving.
Don't know how you have 4.8, but you must be doing really mind-blowing doners or I don't know wth.
It's always nice to spend your "profits" here while shopping and refueling on at least Currywurst and Pommes and possibly other goodies. Beautiful fries, fried golden yellow, nice and crispy and old-fashioned with salt. Delicious.
Traditional restaurant. Friendly and professional service. The building and the sanitary facilities are a bit old, everything is in the style of the 1970s.
There are very good steaks and classic Westphalian wedding food there.
