Löwenherz Foodbar in Gronau (Westf.)

Was it there twice? Food was very good,

The Löwenherz was one of our favorite restaurants even before the change of ownership. The menu has changed with the change, but the dishes are just as delicious. Great service and cozy atmosphere – we always like to come back!

Unfortunately it is no longer the same card as before (before the owner changed). The restaurant is really nice, the staff are very nice, but unfortunately I'm really sad about the old menu. I liked Löwenherz precisely because it doesn't specialize in "traditional" cuisine. The food is still very tasty, no question, but it no longer really stands out from any other German restaurant. The bowls have completely disappeared from the menu and the selection of pasta and burger dishes has been drastically reduced. The starter and classic dishes have also been changed. In my personal opinion, really a downgrade :( I don't know if the previous card wasn't economical or didn't run well, but I thought it was much better and in my opinion it was really a unique selling point for Lionheart

There has always been a great atmosphere in the old pharmacy building. Now Boune has taken over the helm at the Löwenherz as tenant and cook. Spent a great evening here. Friendly and courteous service. The menu is small but nice and offers classics and Boune specials, there is something for everyone. Mushrooms as a starter and the lion heart plate with sensationally good fried potatoes for the main course. The drink selection is also great. I'd love to come back.

Nice modern attractive restaurant, with a cozy terrace in front of the door. The food was tasteful very tasty. We had the Bruscetta first and then the Mix grill and Risotto funghi. Service very friendly.

I would have liked a constructive discussion of my balanced criticism. Instead, the operators of the food bar had my original review removed due to alleged defamation. I can't repeat the reasons for my bad rating here, but believe me: it's deserved.

The restaurant could be so great. Ambience good, location great. Service was really attentive and quick. But unfortunately it fails because of the food... Medium chip shops at best - quality. The bowl was missing the scampi, the schnitzel was bone dry, mayonnaise and ketchup came in a plastic bag... It's a shame, because there was potential for more... so unfortunately we won't be coming back any time soon...

A very nice restaurant with very tasty food. The ambience is stylish and well prepared. What surprised me personally was the distance to the person sitting next to me. You have enough space to talk to your partner or friends at a comfortable volume without feeling disturbed from next door. The service is excellent, courteous and nice, which is not a given these days. The highlight is the food. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. Fresh, tasty and beautifully presented to the eye. In terms of price, in my opinion the restaurant could even charge more for what they offer. Highly recommended and we would love to come back.

The food was a 10/10, But unfortunately there is one thing to complain about, and that is that the drink was quite watery (mojito). But otherwise everything is perfect.

Very nicely and comfortably furnished. When we came in we were warmly greeted. The atmosphere here is really inviting. We ordered the French bread before eating so we could have some time to think about the main courses. When we wanted to order these, we were asked whether we should wait in the kitchen to let us know because we had just received our French bread, which wasn't such a bad idea :) The drinks are reasonably priced and that Food too. My wife had a Mexican burger which is highly recommended and I had the Stifado which I can also definitely recommend. All in all we were very satisfied, the food was great and the service was great. We will be back :)

Wir waren im Museum und haben nach einem Restaurant gesucht und sind beim Löwenherz angekommen . Es ist ein schönes kleines Lokal mit einer guten Auswahl an Speisen . Die Getränkeliste ist enorm groß und lädt zum verweilen ein. Sehr zu Empfehlen 🫶

Sehr nette und zuvorkommender Service. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Allerdings sollte man Knoblauch mögen. Von Burger über Pasta bis zu Fisch und Fleisch, alles da. Gott sei Dank wird man von dem Angebot nicht überfordert, so dass alles recht frisch zu sein scheint. Das Ambiente des denkmalgeschützten Gebäudes ist für die Innenstadt Gronaus absolut passend und schön.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit gutem Service und leckeren Getränken, mussten auch nicht lange warten, waren eine Gruppe von 8 und hat alles soweit geklappt. Leider hatte der Burge( Falafel Burger) wenig Geschmack, würde ich nicht noch einmal bestellen. Pommes waren aber sehr gut, und auch das Pilzrisotto und die Nudeln mit Lachs kamen gut an.

Schöner Ort und sehr leckeres Essen. Gerne wieder!

The best chicken breast in Gronau!!!

Wir waren top zufrieden, der Service war bestens es blieb kein Wunsch offen! Wir hatten zur Vorspeise das French Bread welches mit drei Dips serviert wurde, eine tolle Mischung an verschiedenen Geschmäckern. Zum Hauptgang gab es für uns die Lachsbowl und die Garnelenbowl- auch diese waren sehr hübsch angerichtet und alles war frisch und gut aufeinander abgestimmt. Das Löwenherz war ganz gut besucht und trotzdem hatten wir keine lange Wartezeiten fürs Essen. Zum Abschluss haben wir noch ein Dessert bestellt (Schokokuchen und Pannacotta) nur zu empfehlen!! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Im Gesamten hatten wir einen wundervollen Abend mit einem tollen Ambiente und sehr gutem Essen. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis war ebenfalls 🔝 Vielen Dank an das tolle Personal für die Bewirtung. Wenn es möglich wäre, würden wir 6 von 5 Sternen geben.

Modern stylisches Ambiente mit sehr gutem Service und leckerem gesundheitsorientierten Speisen, die sich auch preislich im akzeptablen Rahmen bewegt. Leider ist zur zeit eine Baustelle direkt vor dem Wintergarten/Terrasse die Richtung Platz zeigt.

Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht! Das Personal war super, hat uns noch rein gequetscht obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten (Danke)! Das Essen war super lecker und es ging ruckzuck und alle hatten gleichzeitig Ihr Essen!

Ich war heute zum ersten Mal zu Gast und war vom Essen begeistert, es wurde alles frisch zubereitet und heiß serviert. Geschmacklich war das Essen vorzüglich, selten so gut gegessen. Bedienung sehr freundlich und wirklich weiter zu empfehlen.

Lekker eten, vriendelijk personeel, je moet niet lang wachten. Sfeer is erg gezellig binnen. Genoeg vegan opties!
