I ordered via the homepage and paid via PayPal. We ordered a kebab with extra meat, a baguette with garlic sausage and a large portion of fries. 10 minutes after sending the order - and also paying - I received a call saying that he only had chicken and that he had run out of bread. Annoyance number 1. Well, a kebab with extra meat and veal turned into a chicken dürüm. Extra meat? None. Food arrived relatively quickly. Driver was friendly. Started the Dürüm and very quickly felt like I was biting into briquettes... some of the meat was extremely burnt, hard, dry. The Dürüm bread tasted like it was from yesterday. Dry, hard, difficult to chew (no, I don't have the third ones). So money was thrown into the bin. Then I opened the baguette (it wasn't for me - I can't handle that much :D) and I was so shocked that I made a video of it. It wasn't a baguette, it was crispy, fluffy, hot and delicious. That was - with all due respect - a rag. Mushy, soft, tasty and hard to hold on to. With a journey of 3 minutes, such a desolate result is truly unacceptable. The fries were the only good thing. So a portion of fries for two, full? None. Of the €21, only €4.50 was edible. Never again. Since the owner called after a negative review here on Google from my wife and showed up here personally, put pressure on her and had her review deleted by Google, I will copy this text, save it and publish it again and again. To the owner: contact me/us or show up at the front door and I'll go to the police.

From reservation to food, service, Ambience, friendliness.

Ein mittlerer, familiengeführter Landgasthof in der Lüneburger Heide. In Mitten des Ortes, am Weesener Bach gelegen. Es gibt genügend Parkplätze vor dem Haus. Eine schöne Terrasse mit Beschattung im Sommer. Im Inneren erwartet Sie ein helles geschmackvolles Restaurant im Landhausstiel. Probieren sie die typischen Gerichte hier aus der Heide. Unser Tipp ist die Heidschnucke, daß müssen sie unbedingt probiert haben. Und zum Schluß darf der Heidegeist nicht fehlen. Der Kenner trinkt den 108er. Für den Verdauungsspaziergan gibt es ein paar Wanderwege. Mein Tipp zum Schluß: Reservieren sie im Vorfeld und meiden sie Brücken und Feiertage, wenn sie nicht früh genug reservieren.

It's always delicious and the duck is a dream. The staff and owners are very friendly and the service is great. We are regular customers and really enjoy eating there 😊.

Small, good menu with great, tasty dishes. Price performance is right in my opinion

Sehr zentrale Lage für Ausflüge in der Lüneburger Heide. Frühstück ist o.k und ausreichend. Man kann gut und lecker am Abend Essen. Das Personal ist nett und bemüht. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gross. Einziger Kritikpunkt sind die Duschen zum Schwimmbad. Spinnen und Fliegen könnten im Spa Bereich entfernt werden.

Unfortunately, completely burnt food was delivered again, but at some point it will be good. It's just a shame.

I've honestly never had such bad food at such a high price. I barely managed (!) a plate from the buffet, even the croquettes tasted like old deep fryer grease. The salad was poor, the cucumbers dried out. 2 x buffet and 1 drink each: €56, plus there is heartburn.
