Based on the numerous positive reviews, I was looking forward to dining at this restaurant – unfortunately, I was bitterly disappointed. It all started off promisingly: The restaurant was busy, the atmosphere was cosy, and the ambiance, albeit a bit kitschy, was quite pleasant. A delicious aioli with bread was served first, but from that moment on, things went downhill rapidly. The chiporones were still acceptable, while the pimientos were undercooked and tasteless. The patatas bravas arrived cold inside – and the sauce was anything but a real patatas bravas sauce, but rather reminiscent of a cheap ready-made sauce from the supermarket. Anyone who has ever been to Spain knows that there is no comparison whatsoever. The meat was dry and tough, and the other dishes were also unimpressive. When I complained, the waitress tried to justify it by saying that everyone has different tastes. That may be true, but if potatoes are cold inside, they'll stay cold. At a time like this, they should have at least offered a replacement, a free dessert, or an adjustment to the bill—especially since the prices were far from cheap. Overall, this was a miserable experience, which again makes me doubt these reviews in general.

How can you rate the store with 5 stars? Probably because those who stop by or order food there don't yet know where the food is stored. Namely in the wooden shack behind the restaurant. Rats and mice say hello! And that when the weather is nice, the cook first cuts his toenails behind the bar and then goes back to the stove to cook. And be sure not to wash your hands beforehand, let alone after smoking. The health department has been there several times. But if you like it, Bon Appetit!!
