We are sure that they have the best pizza around and always enjoyed going there. However, yesterday I had bad luck. I ordered the most expensive pasta dish, Monti et Mare, which was also supposed to have shrimp etc. But it was just pasta with chicken. The waiter's explanation was that the chef had cooked the wrong dish. That's forgivable. What was unforgivable was that we only saw on the bill when we got home that 16 euros had been charged for the expensive dish, even though I had gotten the cheap one for 11 euros. We're not going there anymore.

Am 25.10. waren wir anlässlich eines 70. Geburtstages zum Essen eingeladen. 15 Personen, um 21.15 Uhr wurden wir aufgefordert die letzte Bestellung aufzugeben. Weshalb die Feier um 22 Uhr gelaufen war weil wir hinauskomplimentiert wurden. Eine bodenlose Frechheit. Das Essen war geschmacklich okay, die Lende allerdings furztrocken und ließ den Verdacht zu, dass sie vom Vortag aufgewärmt war. Wir übernachteten vor Ort im Hotel, dass durchaus zu empfehlen ist. Das Restaurant jedoch hat wohl mit dem Hotel nichts zu tun, arbeitet unabhängig. Ich rate vom Restaurant dringend ab.

The evening went as expected, extremely high volume in a restaurant that is not far from a train station in terms of acoustics. Announcements that take place there are now and then replaced by loud laughter or by noisy pushing of tables and chairs around after a party has left. What was new was the large hole in my cloth napkin, which was decorated with this defect clearly visible on the table. It was probably from years gone by too. The service was okay, as was the food, but nothing more. However, I had now expected more than just higher prices for dishes that were not worth mentioning. I'm curious to see what it will look like in a few years - if I ever think about coming back here again - and how many holes there will be in the napkin.
