Never eaten such a bad pizza. Ordered a sucuk pizza. The dough had nothing to do with the pizza time, no rise, and the tomato sauce was simply too salty. After one bite, my appetite disappeared immediately. The food was handled quickly and without any love for the job. Every restaurant in the area is far better than this place.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed 😔 The wait was extremely long: 1.5 hours for our food to arrive. The other drinks we ordered never arrived. It's a real shame...

If you're looking for a good schnitzel, a good pizza, or delicious Indian food in Gernsheim, this is the place to go. The portions are generous and the price is absolutely fair. Whether I've eaten in or ordered, I've never been disappointed.

The service was always very friendly, which was unfortunately the highlight of the visit. The restaurant's ambiance lacks a concept, and the menu is far too extensive for anything to be fresh. They serve frozen food and ready-made sauce. The steak was dark on the outside and still half-frozen on the inside. The fries weren't cooked through, and certainly not crispy. The sauce was floury, and the mushrooms in it were watery and tasteless. For such a hefty price (€25), what you get is awful. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

We were looking forward to good food, but it was nothing. My loins were rubbery and the chanterelle mushrooms were pure mouthwatering. I said so and still paid the full price. What a pity.

Half of it forgotten and the wrong food was delivered.....

I ordered food from Schöfferstube as usual, but this time the entire meal was tasteless. The mushrooms were forgotten in the creamed schnitzel, and the fries tasted like they'd been deep-fried for the third time. The side salad consisted only of carrots. The pizza was equally tasteless. I had to force the food down, but I'm usually satisfied. But this time the food was truly disrespectfully bad. If I could, I'd give it 0 stars.

Food simple but bring cash no EC card

The food was GREAT! Four of us tried it, and everyone ordered a different dish. My rump steak was tender as butter. The other dishes—pizza, schnitzel, and grilled liver—also looked delicious and were well-received. The menu also offers plenty for vegans. Overall, the prices are unbeatable. The restaurant's decor may be a bit dated, but it's very clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas. My Yorkie was also welcome. A big thank you for the friendly service. We'll definitely be back.

Delivery and delivery times are unacceptable. They said 50 minutes for delivery, but after two hours, there's still no delivery. This concept is awful. And this is the second time this has happened. After calling, I was told the driver would be there in 5 minutes, haha, but now it's been another 30 minutes. We're really pissed off and extremely disappointed.

Always delicious, but we are disappointed that there was no information on the website or when ordering that you were on vacation. Ordered and everything was as usual. Wanted to ask where you were staying and then found out on the answering machine that you were on vacation. A little warning would have been nice for next time. Luckily we chose to pay in cash and not Paypal or via Lieferando!!

We have been coming since it opened in 2018 and are still impressed by the quality of the food. You can hardly find such a beautiful old ambience anymore. Regardless of whether it's pizza, schnitzel or Indian, everything is super, super good.!!!

So far we have only picked up - you can sit outside in the small beer garden or right on the street. Salads very tasty with shrimps and fair prices - what more could you want 😉

I'm usually a big fan of this restaurant and really enjoy eating there. Unfortunately, my last online order was quite a disappointment. The pizza I ordered arrived completely burnt. The bottom was black and inedible, which was a real shame as I was really looking forward to it. Additionally, the burrito I ordered was a complete disaster. It looked more like a calzone and was still raw inside. This made the whole experience even worse as I couldn't even eat the burrito without fear of getting sick. I really hope this was just a one-time blip, as I've always enjoyed the food here. Nevertheless, this incident disappointed me and I am considering whether I will order online again in the future.

We called there because you have to choose between pork or turkey for the vegan schnitzel if you order through Lieferando. No understanding was shown that we wanted to find out how we would have to proceed to get a vegan schnitzel delivered and that the mistake must be ours. We were looking forward to the chanterelles in the sauce, but unfortunately they weren't washed and were completely sandy. To top it off, today, the following day, we have gastrointestinal problems and can't go to work. Never again!

Very tasty food for a good price. The guest room was left in the old style and looks rustic and cozy. The landlord doesn't have this fake friendliness, he actually is and you can feel that as a guest. You feel comfortable and cared for. A successful all-round package.

Small beer garden is a bit old. Interior dark and more of a clubhouse than a restaurant. The service was very nice and quick. The food clearly exceeded our expectations in both quantity and quality. The menu is very extensive, we had salad and fish curry masala. The portions were huge, seemed fresh and were VERY tasty. The price was low.
