Schöfferstube in Gernsheim

We have been coming since it opened in 2018 and are still impressed by the quality of the food. You can hardly find such a beautiful old ambience anymore. Regardless of whether it's pizza, schnitzel or Indian, everything is super, super good.!!!

So far we have only picked up - you can sit outside in the small beer garden or right on the street. Salads very tasty with shrimps and fair prices - what more could you want 😉

I'm usually a big fan of this restaurant and really enjoy eating there. Unfortunately, my last online order was quite a disappointment. The pizza I ordered arrived completely burnt. The bottom was black and inedible, which was a real shame as I was really looking forward to it. Additionally, the burrito I ordered was a complete disaster. It looked more like a calzone and was still raw inside. This made the whole experience even worse as I couldn't even eat the burrito without fear of getting sick. I really hope this was just a one-time blip, as I've always enjoyed the food here. Nevertheless, this incident disappointed me and I am considering whether I will order online again in the future.

Pizza burnt and inedible.. thanks for nothing!

We called there because you have to choose between pork or turkey for the vegan schnitzel if you order through Lieferando. No understanding was shown that we wanted to find out how we would have to proceed to get a vegan schnitzel delivered and that the mistake must be ours. We were looking forward to the chanterelles in the sauce, but unfortunately they weren't washed and were completely sandy. To top it off, today, the following day, we have gastrointestinal problems and can't go to work. Never again!

Delivery was very quick. Pizza was very tasty and hot. Salad was also very good, can recommend the yogurt sauce. There was pizza bread with the salad and it was still warm. We were very satisfied. Thank you very much we will order again

Very tasty food for a good price. The guest room was left in the old style and looks rustic and cozy. The landlord doesn't have this fake friendliness, he actually is and you can feel that as a guest. You feel comfortable and cared for. A successful all-round package.

The food also arrives at the table of several guests at the same time. It looks good and tastes good too. Given the prices, you can often afford this.

Small beer garden is a bit old. Interior dark and more of a clubhouse than a restaurant. The service was very nice and quick. The food clearly exceeded our expectations in both quantity and quality. The menu is very extensive, we had salad and fish curry masala. The portions were huge, seemed fresh and were VERY tasty. The price was low.

Super Essen nette Bedienung, selbst der Chef fragt ob alles okay ist. Gute Angebote zu vielen Tagen aus der Speisekarte zum Vorzugspreis. Ungezwungene Atmosphäre, wir kommen gerne wieder vorbei. Gut das wir diese kleine Gaststätte gefunden haben.

Sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Auf das Essen mussten wir nicht lange warten und es schmeckte hervorragend. Die Gaststätte hat noch etwas den Charme von damals aber gerade das ist auch gemütlich. Wir waren komplett zufrieden. Gerne wieder.

Das Essen wie immer gut und vielseitig. Preis Leistungs Verhältnis gut. Ob Pizza, Schnitzel oder indisch, wir waren immer zufrieden. Ein modernisiertes Ambiente könnte das Ganze noch abrunden. Man sieht noch das alt eingesessene Gasthaus, wie es früher war.
