A truly fantastic restaurant.
The food was delicious, fresh, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is pleasant and cozy; you immediately feel at ease. The staff is friendly and attentive; you're treated like a guest in someone's own home.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will gladly return.
Thank you, Marji, for your wonderful kumpir, always prepared with so much love. ❤️ I was a guest for many years and am very sad that the Schlaraffenland in the Akazienkiez is no longer there.
Unfortunately, the Schlaraffenland closed permanently in August, and another restaurant with new owners will soon be opening.
Genuinely the best burguer of the city. There is a lack of quality burguers in Berlin. And when you find them they are obscenely overpriced. I have been going to Monty's for years, since I arrived to the city. And it will always be my go to place. All of my friends love it and it is a banger every time.
*An absolute hidden gem in the Wrangelkiez neighborhood*
Unassuming from the outside, but absolutely delicious. The köfte were incredibly juicy and perfectly cooked. The salad was crisp and fresh, and the bread was simply sensational. It's rare to find such high-quality, fresh bread in a köfte shop.
I'll definitely be back and highly recommend this place.
I stumbled across the Rothenburg Eck by chance this weekend and immediately fell in love with the place.
The owner is fantastic, very friendly and attentive! The staff is also great.
The pub offers plenty of seating, is well-equipped, and the various beers on tap are all delicious. The prices are more than fair. I'll definitely be coming back often!
The food is terrible now. Nothing tastes good anymore, the meat quality is poor, and the side dishes are bland and watery. The only thing that's still very friendly is the service, just like it used to be. It's a shame about what was once an exceptionally good restaurant.
