Had a fantastic dining experience near the idyllic Mauerpark with the fantastic vintage market on Sunday. A Kebab sandwich at its best!

The bread was soft on the outside. They could have toasted it longer. It seemed like they didn't want to wait for it. A bit too much dressing. The meat was not allowed to be fried with a bit of crust as it can otherwise. This was my 2nd visit to Mauer Kebap and the quality had really gone down. On top of that, the young man also seemed extremely rude and arrogant

This store supposedly has a 5 star rating. I've been thinking about testing here for a while and ordered today. It arrived quickly but the kebab was still only lukewarm. The meat is of very poor quality and does not smell good. The bread was also barely crispy and not warm and also smelled bad in some places. This store is never 5 star. Either Prenzlauer Berg has no taste or the reviews here are fake. I think the latter is the case. And the online prices are also exorbitant. Edit: The answer from the owner was expected and confirms my suspicions. I'm not interested in a warm kebab. In addition, it didn't take more than 20 minutes from preparation to delivery, so the kebab should at least be warm. But for me it's about the quality. So it's a long way from a 5 star kebab. There are shops where it tastes better 1 hour after the kebab was wrapped. It's not possible to blame everything on delivery, especially since you, as a store, offer delivery. Brendan Jiu posted a photo of an XL kebab 2 weeks ago. My XL kebab looked nowhere near what it looked like in his photo. Was my first and last time here. This is never a 5 star kebab. And the owner's responses to reviews that aren't 5 stars make the store even less likeable.

I came because of the good reviews. First of all, the classic kebab that I chose: The bread was perfectly toasted and tasted very good and fresh. The vegetables were also very fresh and the iceberg lettuce was separate from cucumbers/tomatoes. The garlic sauce was also very tasty. The herb sauce on it was quite majo-heavy. The meat was grilled well, but sliced ​​a little too thick and was mostly minced meat. The location is not particularly inviting. There is no seating inside and only 3 wobbly standing tables outside. There are also a lot of beer crates in the hallway. The employees are so friendly, but stressed by the many Wolt suppliers who come in every minute

I ordered a Dürüm with extra meat, without tomatoes, onions and cucumbers. The Dürüm had little meat, but instead had tomatoes, onions and cucumbers. The thing cost €13 for that. No recommendation, don't know where the good reviews come from. I'd rather not eat a kebab than here.

Here you can eat very tasty kebab. My husband is thrilled... The boys are very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely come back when we are in Berlin again...

SOFA KING PHENOMENAL! Wow. My meat was cooked to perfection. Crispy and tender. Not over spiced where you can taste my meat. Not pair me with a healthy serving of veggies, and just enough sauce where once again the ingredients are not overpowered. Oh! And, don’t forget to top me off with an ever so perfectly crisp outside and warm fluffy flat bread to bring it all together. Muah! Chef’s kiss. This family knows what they are doing. This kebab was wonderful. Beautiful finely shaved meat. Sauces and salad were generous, but more importantly, perfectly balanced. The bread was fluffy on the inside and the right amount of crispy on the outside - even down to the final bite which was such a pleasant surprise! We had to come back two nights in a row. Really friendly, efficient service too. The five stars are well deserved!

Obviously 5 stars for 900 reviews would be impossible unless every individual put 5 stars. In fact, they are the ones who specifically ask for it, and I would leave it for the friendliness of the guy who served us.

What a disgrace! The vegetarian kebab “box” was a ridiculous joke. Contents: Soggy fries with bland tofu that tastes like the sole of a shoe. The so-called kebab box consisted of 90% fatty “meat”, not mixed and no salad. Absolutely not recommended… even considering the hefty price… What a shame

The kebab was one of the best I've eaten. The service was good. But the location was ok. It was relatively small and there was only one standing table.

Can't understand the reviews, are they all real? Below average kebab for the (unfortunately) average price of €7. The owners were unfriendly, but I can understand that given the time (10 p.m.). The kebab was extremely light, there was hardly anything in it, especially none of the quality praised by other reviewers.

The kebab tastes very good. You can taste the fat of the meat throughout the whole kebab and it gives the whole thing its own unique aroma.

I loved the Falafel Dürüm. And the guys there are super kind! :) Certainly recommend!

Tried the Seitan Döner here today while taking a break from the flea market at Mauerpark. The Döner was big and super delicious, everything was fresh, a decent amount of sauce, and enough seitan (other döner places often add much less). But the best were the people who work there: really friendly and chatty and you can see that they enjoy what they're doing.🤩👌Can't recommend enough! Will definitely return!!

For me a rather average kebab; Herb sauce should be called dill sauce, I still have the taste on my tongue after 30 minutes; no sophistication in taste, ingredients fresh, nice service!

Unfortunately I didn't like the kebab because the meat wasn't good somehow. The service was friendly and the place is small and uncomfortable, you can buy something and stand while eating. I hope the company can handle criticism and learn something from it.

Whenever I'm in Berlin, I make at least one visit to Mauer Kebab. For me the best kebab in Berlin!

It was a really great thing. Came with my group of friends (9 people), got boxes, sat in front of the establishment and ordered. The staff was super friendly, everything went quickly and it was always delicious! I call it the perfect end to the evening!

I order large donar box but that young man make it like small. I regularly visit but some time a boy spoil this. Not good

Was there with a friend after a school trip. Both of them had just enough money for a small fries and a sandwich with gravy. But the owner made us a large fries, a small fries and a sandwich with sauce for the price of €6. Such an honorable colleague. Oh and the food was also very tasty and good portions!

The store is overrated. The meat is sliced ​​very thinly. The bread is very edgy. Hardly any vegetables on it and with a bit of cheese it costs 1 euro more. The taste reminds me more of a kebab shop at the main train station. Compare with Mustafa's Vegetable Kebab or Rüya? Never !

A bit long waiting but it was worth it!

If you order XXL Doner, be prepared for a massive meal consisting of juicy meat, fresh vegetables and tasty sauce enveloped in a soft bread with a crunchy crust. Trust me, portions are generous, and taste will exceed your expectations. If you’re ready for a challenge, choose a spicy hot sauce - you won’t regret it (or maybe you will, lol :D).

As a real Berliner and passionate kebab eater, I can't recommend the Mauer Kebab to everyone, but I strongly recommend that you try this kebab at least once before it leaves our planet. Otherwise you've really missed something. Mehmet & apo Abi best people in the shop, with well-made kebab, super friendly and easy to take into your heart.
