Very friendly. The food was good too...but unfortunately, there was no more coffee shortly after 9...and we were "herded out"...meaning the lights were turned off when no one was sitting anymore...an unpleasant, abrupt departure atmosphere.
The Mango Chicken is very, very fruity. The Chicken Korma was good, but it lacked a bit of flair.
The naan is world-class!
The price is a bit high.
Update 2024-09:
Lunch per portion €10 to €11
0.4l Spritzer €3.90
Naan €2.90
The Mango Chicken is still very good and highly recommended. Unfortunately, the grilled meat only comes on a regular plate, and the meat gets cold and tough quickly.
Naan East is still delicious.
We had two wonderful weeks on the Alz River. Breakfast was always perfect. The service was always friendly and chatty. The rooms were very well equipped. We would gladly return.
The ambiance is still very cozy, but what we experienced at today's Christmas brunch was outrageous. We've been going to this brunch for years, even at Easter under the previous owner. Even after the change of ownership, it was always very good until today. When we were there today, we had the following experience: Coffee at breakfast is now only served in one cup, and every additional cup is charged extra at €4.20. Most of the appetizers and main courses were tasteless; thankfully, there was salt and pepper on the table. The creams in the desserts were made from powder with artificial flavor and color, and the apple fritters were apparently fried in the same oil as the schnitzel, resulting in a very unpleasant greasy taste. The entire buffet selection was drastically reduced; water, juices, and sparkling wine (always included before) were completely missing. Even the coffees at the end were only available for an extra charge. And all this at a price that has been increased again since last year. The service today also left much to be desired, as no one came by to take orders, or one had to go to the counter oneself. One can only hope that a new tenant will do better, and it's a real shame that the current tenant has left such a bad brunch, tarnishing the restaurant's reputation.
We certainly won't be visiting the Gutsscheune again for the foreseeable future.
Yesterday, three of us went to this restaurant because we always get the delicious vine leaves there. The salad alone with the gyro with rice and tzatziki was delicious. The gyro was crispy and tasted especially good with the balanced tzatziki.
Everything here is fresh and prepared with love, and therefore highly recommended. The service is very attentive and friendly.
This makes the visit a complete success! We'd love to come back!
Hi everyone, we had a great meal with our old friends on November 22nd, 2025. We had a reservation. The service was very friendly, and the owner was very kind and nice to us.
The restaurant is very cozy; you really feel at home there. We'll be back.
The pizza was delicious, with plenty of toppings, and served piping hot.
The whole team is friendly and well-organized; we didn't have to wait long for our food. The Tartufo dessert was so delicious, and the Tiramisu was amazing too! Thanks, see you soon! 🙋♀️😃😉

Excellent and interesting presentation. Tom yang is a good soup with a bit of a kick. The waiter speaks good English, which is important for any establishment. Photos included.
We went to Willi's restaurant. He's a super friendly and generous owner. The food was excellent, especially the Kaiserschmarren for dessert. We'll definitely be back.

It's a wonderful restaurant, with authentic food and great service. Since the group (from the countryside) at the next table was extremely loud, they allowed us to move seats so we could hear our own conversation. It turned out to be a very pleasant evening.
