Generally good, solid food at a reasonable price. The souvlaki was unfortunately extremely dry, but the seafood salad was really good.
What I've never experienced before: the main course was brought to our table in the middle of our appetizer (and to other tables as well); you're not on the run, after all. During the meal, the appetizer plates weren't cleared away; they were piled up. Good service doesn't work.
It was a temptation to try something new, but we'll stick with our regular Greek restaurant, which costs a few euros more. 🤷
The village house combines the charm of a rustic mountain hut with the coziness of an old Allgäu farmhouse. The interior, with its wood-rich decor, warm lighting, and an open fireplace with a large copper kettle for cheese-making, immediately creates a cozy atmosphere. A particularly exciting feature: the cellar houses a show dairy that can be booked for groups – an unforgettable experience where you can make your own cheese.
In summer, the idyllic courtyard with its fountain invites you to linger outdoors. The excellent, attentive service and authentic, delicious cuisine perfectly complement the ambiance. It's a place where you'll want to stay longer, a place that wonderfully combines tradition, enjoyment, and coziness.
Great service. Very friendly staff. Very good pizza. And generally a good selection of dishes, and they actually taste delicious. Always a pleasure to come back.
We were there for the lunch buffet, and for €11.50 per person, you absolutely couldn't complain: There was freshly baked naan, salad, and the usual dips, plus a kind of Indian tzatziki as a starter selection. Then, potatoes, rice, vegetables in sauce, chicken karahi, and chicken with a different sauce as main courses. For dessert, there was a kind of rice pudding. Everything was very tasty and fresh. Bread was brought to our table straight from the oven without us asking. The ambiance is also as colorful and harmonious as ever. When the waiter noticed a mistake on the bill (we would have paid €10 less), he even gave us a discount, which he didn't have to. All in all, we were very satisfied!
An absolutely great evening at this restaurant, the food was fantastic, fast and very friendly service I couldn't think to improve anything there and we will certainly be returning for another increadible evening there
I had a salad with Camembert.
It cost €17.50. It was a standard salad with about 6 mini Camemberts. No cranberry jam. :c
I found it a bit boring and expensive. I think cranberry jam is standard with Camembert.
