Not really. Why? Because then I wouldn't be able to get a seat.
One of the best Greek restaurants within a 50-km radius.
The souvlaki skewer was tender and soft, which I highly recommend for other dishes, too, whether fish, meat, or veggie.
The dessert was excellent.
First of all, a great restaurant with a very nice ambiance.
Unfortunately, we had bad luck all around yesterday. Of the four meals, three were a disappointment. We had three "Spitzen-Pfälzer" (sirloin steaks), and the loin was extremely tough, overcooked, and dry on all plates because it was pre-cooked and then briefly pan-fried again to heat it up. As a result, it was completely dry... After a complaint, four loins were returned, but the pan-fried loins remained with the guest. After about seven minutes, three more loins were served instead of four, and only one small loin was perfect, while the others were raw in the middle... After another complaint, the fourth loin arrived, and we had already finished our meal, and it was also raw in the middle... Sorry, that's unacceptable. Any housewife could do better, and we were very disappointed with the food. And consider the high price range! The restaurant manager tried hard and brought dessert, but we had to pay the full price for all four meals. In a restaurant like Stachel, I expect at least a discount or another invitation to convince you that you can do better!
We were at Wissingers for our wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect… a friendly welcome, a nice table. A clear yet balanced menu. Friendly staff. Excellent red wine. All the dishes were fresh, tasty, and prepared to perfection. Delicious desserts and an excellent digestif afterward. An all-around delicious culinary experience. We'll definitely be back… A little tip: be sure to reserve in advance, otherwise it might be tight for a table…
The food here was generally quite good. Not accepting any card payments is simply backward. And closing the kitchen at 7:30 p.m. is also outrageous. But announcing the early closing time just five minutes in advance is the icing on the cake.
The two of us went for dinner. The chef gave us a warm personal welcome. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The food? So delicious! Highly recommended. We'll be back again ☺️
You can tell Google that you're the owner and then adjust the opening hours accordingly... especially if you're closed from August 28th to September 16th, 2025, for vacation. You drive there on a recommendation only to read a note saying you're on vacation... no wonder the restaurant industry is dying out.
Typical of many bars in Rothenburg... there are plenty of other tourists every day, service and friendliness are overrated.
And we were immediately told that only drinks weren't available... so get out of here.
We ended up spending our money elsewhere.
After the thermal baths, we were hungry, and there aren't many options left in Bad Füssing at 9 p.m. The La Piazzetta restaurant really spoiled us, despite the kitchen closing soon. Fast, friendly service. Good Italian cuisine, delicious espresso, and excellent grappa. A pleasant chat with the hostess rounded off the evening.
Thank you for your hospitality.
