The food is truly delicious. I especially enjoyed starter number 7.
The service is very friendly. Only the seat by the entrance door isn't the best, as it gets cold outside if customers don't close the door, and there's a constant flow of people coming and going. I also find the drinks a bit overpriced, but the lemonade was good.
I'll definitely be back – my favorite Indian restaurant in Erlangen!
Beautiful, classic ambiance and good food, including vegetarian options. Unfortunately, the service on both visits was rather inattentive—he was often busy on his laptop, and the owner didn't greet guests. I probably won't come again.
Absolutely overpriced. You have to order the side salad for €4.90, and everything else is an extra, so without drinks, you're quickly approaching €30 per plate – and the taste is just average! That's a no-brainer for us in SW!
Miss Hong in Regensburg impresses with its delicious food, especially the large selection of sushi, which is a real plus. A visit is definitely worth it, but reservations are recommended, as the place is popular and can fill up quickly.
The restroom is clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The only minor criticism is the somewhat messy basement entrance; otherwise, the restaurant makes a very good impression.
If you're looking for good sushi and Asian cuisine, you'll find it here. I'd be happy to return and highly recommend Miss Hong.
We went to Hansel's Stone Oven Pizzeria in Bayreuth today and were very disappointed!
I had asked about the price over the phone, and the man on the phone told me it would be around €28. When I got there, I was charged €34.30. Since it was a pizza that wasn't listed on the menu, we couldn't calculate the price ourselves – which is exactly why I called ahead.
I had €33 with me – more than the stated price plus a €3 tip (10% for pickup). When I explained that was why I only had that amount, the response was immediately unfriendly. Instead of showing understanding, three employees intervened. Server 1 immediately told me to get more money. I suggested they could (reluctantly, but okay) leave out part of the order. Again, the response was unfriendly: That wasn't possible; it was done on purpose.
Then server 2 intervened and confirmed that I should look for more money in the car or somewhere else. Finally, the pizza maker was also asked. I explained the situation, that it was about €1.30, but he said, in a truly rude manner, that he couldn't just give me the money. Card payments weren't possible at all, otherwise I would have solved the problem that way.
In the end, the colleague I had spoken to on the phone was even yelled at in front of everyone else for estimating the price. I was accused of not being able to rely on an estimate. I was quoted €28, but it actually came out to €34.30 – I think you'd be more likely to expect €28-31. Server 1 then canceled the salad and made a huge deal out of it. When I paid and said goodbye, I didn't even get a goodbye.
Now imagine: Three people got involved and treated me and the poor colleague on the phone rudely – all because of €1.30. If they had simply said, "Sorry, poor communication, it's fine, enjoy your meal, see you next time," I would have remembered this gesture, tipped well every time, and, above all, continued ordering there.
And now for the bill:
They wanted €1.30 more from me at all costs – and will therefore lose our business in the future. We get food there about twice a year, so that's no longer the case for the next few years. If you calculate that: about €200–300 in lost revenue for us alone in the next three years. On top of that, I'll be spending my money at other pizzerias in the future – and sharing my experience publicly in the area and here.
In short: I charged €1.30 more in the short term, but lost significantly more in the long term. Bayreuth has plenty of alternatives that are cheaper, have better toppings, and, above all, are friendlier to customers.
WOW! I'm truly speechless at how good this restaurant is. First of all, I'm not only impressed by the extremely friendly and understanding staff, but also by the delicious Greek food! The three of us ate there, and it was wonderful. The meat was absolutely delicious and juicy, and the desserts are highly recommended! I would recommend reserving a table before you go, though, so it's not too crowded, as it can get quite busy on weekends and it can get crowded otherwise. The restrooms are also very clean and hygienic; just walking past, you could even glimpse into the kitchen, which also looked spotless. The style of the restaurant is very chic, and the tables and chairs are cleaned regularly and immediately after guests leave. We were truly thrilled with the symposium and will definitely be back!
Two takeaway dishes, only a 15-minute wait, and a friendly staff member taking orders. The pizza was very tasty, the pasta was okay (a bit underseasoned). The portion size was very good. Good value for money.
Long wait for drinks in a nearly empty restaurant – a full 30 minutes for three drinks. When they finally arrived, they were initially wrong. The food itself was okay, but definitely not worth the price. Noticeable: a lot of staff on the go, but small things like salt, oil, and other basics on the table seem to be ignored after serving. €95 for three people, including an appetizer and no dessert? That's simply extortionate for this level of service. The only nice thing is the ambiance in the garden.
We were there on a Saturday weekend. We were a large group of 11 people. It was very crowded. The waiters weren't exactly accommodating. We waited over an hour for our order. The food wasn't great. Our extra order was missing. It was impossible to ask questions because no waiter ever bothered to ask if everything was okay or if we wanted something else to drink. We had to wait a second time for the bill.
Very good inn with regional cuisine
The kitchen offers many regional dishes. The food was very good. The chef knows his craft.
Changing the side dishes was no problem, so we were able to try the Coburger Rutscher (spicy Coburg sauté pancakes).
The service is very friendly and worked well despite the full dining room.
The ambiance is rustic and very cozy.
The price/performance ratio is reasonable.
We had a lovely evening here and can recommend this inn.
