Gaststätte St. Johanneklause in Oberasbach

Today, on September 24, 2025, I ate Indian starters and main courses. Very good, very tasty. Service was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent cuisine, friendly service, everything was great!

We ate here one evening during our vacation and were a little skeptical because of the extensive menu. But what can I say? We had pasta, Indian food, pizza, and currywurst, and all four of us were thrilled and more than satisfied. The delicious food was topped off by the service and the friendly staff. So, five stars and a full five stars! If we ever come back here, we'll definitely eat at St. Johannes Klause again. =)

The staff was super nice, the prices were perfect and the food was great. The entrance looks a bit like you're walking into a student dorm, but it's worth the walk.

Great little place. Owner is super nice, speaks English, food is plentiful and inexpensive... will be coming back for more! Recommended.

Had a celebration with about 30 people. The food came out of the kitchen quickly and was very tasty. The cordonbleu and the schnitzel were very well received. Fast service and very nice host. Great value for money 👍🏻We'll come back and try the other dishes too 😃

Einkehrmöglichkeit mitten im Ort. Die Küche ist als Sportgaststätte sehr gut. Freundlichkeit ist Trumpf.

Sehr coole Gastronomie. Relativ klein und familiär, Essen war günstig und lecker. Bedienung super freundlich, ich habe mich wohl gefühlt!

Das Essen war wieder einmal wunderbar. Kalamaris mit Reis oder Pommes super.

Die Klause wirkt von außen etwas unscheinbar. Wir waren am Freitag mit einer Gruppe dort. Es gab gutes Essen von einer kleineren Karte. Die Qualität war super. Für Nachschub in den Gläsern wurde immer schnell gesorgt. Wir kommen gerne wieder..

Absolut empfehlenswert. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut und die Besitzer sehr freundlich. Unbedingt das Tzatziki probieren.
