There's something special about eating sushi in an old Bavarian inn and restaurant, with Lake Ammersee beckoning. The sushi was delicious, and they also offer some unusual varieties.
As a suggestion, I would like to see more fish varieties beyond salmon and tuna.
YOU CAN'T EXPECT ORGANIC (?) PIZZA LOOKED GOOD AND TASTED... BIG MINUS :( PLEASE ONLY USE VERY FRESH INGREDIENTS FOR PIZZA! THE INGREDIENTS (PROBABLY THE MUSHROOMS) WERE SOUR (FERMENTED = OLD) :(
I definitely recommend this restaurant. It may be small, but the food is as good as anywhere else. Their sushi selection is extensive, and the mochi is the best you've ever tasted. There's sometimes a dog lying on the floor, but it's still clean and tidy.
To be honest, we were a little disappointed with Sunday brunch. The selection was OK, but really not exceptional. Leberkäse, Nuremberger, meatballs and falafel are available in their own counter, which looks as if you could get warm food there. Unfortunately everything was cold. O.g. But at least in our opinion, products should be served warm. I've never seen it like that anywhere. The scrambled eggs were also only lukewarm.
The decaffeinated coffee still tastes burnt despite the milk.
It was also as loud as a train station the entire time. So really unpleasantly loud. This wasn't due to individual people, but rather to the guest room itself. The ceiling is high and not covered. That may look nice, but there's just nothing that absorbs sound. A tip: if you don't want to disturb the look, there are soundproofing elements that can be mounted on the underside of table tops. Nobody sees them, but it still gets quieter.
Very tasty food. Unfortunately, only available for takeout. It's best to pre-order, as the food is freshly prepared and you'll have to wait a bit (maximum 20 minutes) if you order on the spot.
And you should expect certain dishes to be unavailable. Perhaps a daily specials menu would be a good idea, so you really get an overview of what the kitchen can prepare.
Nevertheless, it's definitely worth a visit, and I highly recommend it.
A typical local restaurant. Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, and more than fair prices. Everything was top-notch. We really enjoyed our stay here. There's a small terrace for outside seating. It's best to make a reservation in advance.
Review of the festival grounds under the trees. In terms of size, it's the nicest open-air beer garden I know. Review based on the Leipheim Children's Festival. Good local food.
A very good and affordable lunch option. I had the lunch menu with spring rolls and a large portion of chicken with vegetables and Thai basil for under 11 euros. The staff was very friendly, and the food arrived hot and fresh within 10 minutes. I'd be happy to go back!
Very good pizza and Italian dishes.
Pizza is like in Italy 👍👍👍
Sicilian style schnitzel is very very good.
Good portions, large pizzas 🍕

Take-away card is like Italy for home 🇮🇹
