The döner kebab was made with beef and tasted really good.
We ordered one döner box with a mix of fries and salad and one sandwich; it came to €16.50 and we were satisfied.
Everything was perfect. Incredibly friendly service, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The food is truly delicious. Everything is freshly prepared. Plenty of good, cold drinks are available. Tips are given, and the location is fantastic. In short, definitely come here hungry!
A culinary gem right in the middle of the meat hall. The empanadas and the pão de queijo are absolutely delicious! You can taste that they're homemade! Well worth a visit!
Everything here is just perfect!
Incredibly creative and delicious food, as vibrant as the restaurant and the people themselves. An easy choice for by far the best vegan restaurant in the area; in my opinion, it even beats all the non-vegan options. Definitely visit and fall in love with it yourself! 💚
Perfect all around!
We went there three times this week because we were so satisfied. The service is excellent, and the food is divine. We tried everything from soups, salads, tarte flambée, schnitzel, and mushroom noodles, and everything was delicious.
The vegetarian selection is fantastic, and the desserts are also incredibly delicious.
The drinks menu leaves nothing to be desired—I especially recommend the homemade cucumber and basil lemonade and the latte macchiato.
The ambiance is quaint and cozy, creating a family-friendly atmosphere.
This restaurant is an absolute must!👌
Hello everyone,
At the beginning of September, it was time again to head towards Bella Italia. However, on our journey from northern Germany to the Adriatic, shortly before our first stopover, we received a message from the engine compartment that we couldn't continue our journey in the French car that had carried us for the first 600 kilometers. So, we made a more than involuntary stop in Ingolstadt. Starving from the day's exertions and facing an uncertain future, a glimmer of hope, red as tomato sauce, would soon appear on the horizon. Mario welcomed us with open arms and, within minutes, conjured up the finest pizza and burgers. I, for my part, opted for a solid pizza. The Coke from the traditional aluminum can was also impressive. Even though Mario hadn't promised us anything beforehand, he exceeded every expectation with his craftsmanship and, at least culinary-wise, saved the day. Thank you Mario, thank you Ingolstadt, thank you Citroen.
see you at the next breakdown
we had been coming to this hotel for years on day trips from Munich even before the current owner, when it was a bit of a run down place in need of love (they still served a decent kaffee kuchen), because the location is just perfect and we love the trails right behind the hotel, plus it is near the dog beach and dogs have always been welcome!
This past summer we visited almost every sunday and treated ourselves to the filet with truffle fries & port wine jus, in the sun on their gorgeous terrace! This dish is worth driving 1 hour for!!
now that they are closed on Sunday (seasonal) we decided to stay the night during the week to enjoy the filet dinner with wine (they have a GREAT wine list!) and a nice hike right behind the hotel.
I want to compliment the service, which is consistently attentive and really just excellent. Always friendly, smiling and engaging with customers. Always going the extra mile! This level of customer service is actually rare these days, so we really truly appreciate it! (special thanks to the service this past Tuesday night!)
I will be crushed when they tear this place down! it is so charming just the way it is.
I can only agree with the previous reviewers!
The food is truly excellent.
From the gyro to the very crispy and tasty pita bread and tzatziki to the calamari, everything tasted absolutely outstanding.
The very friendly owner told us that she cooks everything herself and that it's freshly made – and you can taste it!
Unfortunately, the restaurant still suffers from the stigma of being a "former beer bar," which puts off many potential guests (unfortunately, this was the case with us).
However, I can assure you that a visit here is absolutely worth it and it's a great place to stop.
We'll definitely be back and bring friends!
