We had breakfast there twice as part of our short vacation to the Playmobil Fun Park.
Staff very friendly, great atmosphere due to the play town inside the HOB. Breakfast selection is great. However, there could be something like pancakes for the kids. My son knows this from other children's hotels and was a little disappointed because there was Kaiserschmarrn and that's not for everyone. But this is just the icing on the cake. We thought it was really great.
The water was perfect, cool, tasty, and low in sodium. The wine was perfect, not too warm and not too cool for this rather dry, slightly fruity red wine. Excellent food: juicy tuna steak, perfectly melted potatoes in butter, simply outstanding flavor, seasoned, and rounded off with coarsely ground salt. The shrimp were also excellent, juicy and flavorful. The baguette was crispy, and the homemade dips were excellent. The food and drinks were worth every cent; what a fantastic, enjoyable evening, and a fair price. The ambiance, friendliness, music, and art on the wall—it couldn't have been better.
Today I bought 4 families pizzas for our birthday and ordered them at a certain time. They asked that the pizza be ready by then, it was ready as agreed, super tasty, our guests were all very satisfied and went home grateful and full gone, thank you very much and keep it up! 🥰
I was in Nuremberg on a business trip and stayed at the hotel. It was a nice hotel with clean rooms. Friendly owners. Good value for money. Breakfast included.
The crust of the Schläuerla could have been crispier and the sauerkraut could have been cooked longer. The service was excellent and courteous. Beer and schnapps are tasty and food and drinks are reasonably priced.
UPDATE: Very questionable feedback culture in this company. But you can also see it in other answers. Therefore only 1 star.
We've been getting pizzas here for about 5 years now and have actually been satisfied so far.
Since the children wanted to eat on site and watch the trains, we tried that out today.
At the beginning we had to wait a good 20 minutes for our ordered drinks. At the time only 3 tables were occupied. While we were waiting, a table that came after us already received drinks and salads.
The service was initially friendly and often apologized for the long wait.
Upon request, we were also offered children's pizzas, which are not on the menu. In retrospect it turned out that each topping was 1.50€ in addition to the basic price of 7€ and my older daughter's children's pizza then cost as much as an adult pizza (2 slices of ham, salami and 5 olives for 4.50€ extra). Salami could be better, the olives are of the lowest quality. They are tasteless blackened olives.
The service had to call the boss for the prices of the children's pizzas, who then probably came up with this completely exorbitant fantasy price.
The service also made an effort not to be spoken to. Neither from us nor from the next table. For the last drink we went from the terrace to the restaurant to order. Also to pay the bill, as we wanted to head home with the children at some point.
My husband had to add up the bill based on the card in the restaurant because the service is not able to issue a receipt despite the requirement to receive a receipt. In order not to subject the children to an even longer torture tour, we had to go without a receipt.
It is also strange that the children's high chairs are stacked in the toilet next to the toilet bowl! An absolute no-go and unhygienic! If my children were still in the high chair, we would have left the restaurant immediately at this point.
It's a real shame, the pizzas taste good and we're happy to support Zirndorfer Gastro.
This evening was such a nuisance that we will not be a customer here in the future, neither on site nor for pick-up. There are equally good pizzas in Wachendorf and Fürth.
