As a main course we had the chicken with cashew nuts and the duck in mango sauce. The sauces for both dishes were very watery, the chicken and vegetables were unseasoned, the duck was tough, fibrous and therefore 3/4 inedible.
When complaining, the waiter said "I'm sorry." Nothing was offered instead, no substitution, another dish or perhaps a coffee. When paying, when we asked if everything was OK, we (another service worker) again pointed out our disappointment with the duck dish. Again all I got was an uninterested “I’m sorry.”
As we were already out the door, another service worker came running after us and said "happy birthday."
However, I would have liked an evening with good food on my birthday.
Why this restaurant consistently has very good reviews is a mystery to me.
Maybe we were just particularly unlucky.
Very tasty food and generous portions. I like to order takeaway, but the restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere. The food is delicious, and the portions are definitely good for the price, even though I'm not eating there. The staff is very friendly, and you can tell they place a lot of importance on the well-being and satisfaction of their guests. I can definitely recommend this restaurant :)
Well, you probably don't go there because of the ambience. We got a party pizza and it was really great - except for the artichokes (pretty woody), but whatever. We ate until we couldn't eat any more.
“Insider tip” in the Munich area. Inventive yet simple dishes.
The restaurant is located in an impressive monastery, and its furnishings convey the feeling of both a classic inn and modern cuisine.
The quality of the food is very good for the price; Our waitress was also very nice and attentive.
We'd love to come back!
Döner was always great, but the opening times are just a joke now
I know it's about sales, but I used to like going to him for lunch
Well now he doesn't have my money anymore
What happened to this restaurant? Were there for dinner today and are extremely disappointed, the quality of the food was absolutely poor, especially the nachos. Should have gone to the kebab shop opposite, it would definitely have been better and cheaper. That was it for us, we definitely won't be coming back.
You can still get wonderful, authentic Italian food here.
No mass-produced food like the surrounding pizzerias, hence the name "Osteria"....🌹👌
Unfortunately, our Osteria is no longer there...it closed in mid-February 25...such a shame 😭😭😭😭😭😭💔
The service was friendly, but unfortunately we had to wait 30 minutes for lunch even though the shop was empty.
They seemed quite overwhelmed, I wonder what it would be like in the evening.
The food was very good.
Unfortunately, the quality of the food can only be described as average at best, with prices having risen significantly and portions now being small. One or two years ago it was much better and with better value for money.
E.g. burger patties partially burnt on the edges. There are hardly any visible side dishes such as salad or something similar on the burger and the burger bun is flabby. A burger for just under €15 should definitely be of better quality! Fair prices for non-alcoholic drinks (juice spritzers). Very nice service staff, but a long wait for the food - about 35 minutes despite fewer visitors on a Sunday evening) for the food, but the service staff can't do anything about that...
I find the service in front of the restaurant to be bad in the afternoon. There are few guests, everyone already served. You sit and wait for service, no one comes within ten minutes. I ordered two drinks at the counter inside. Wait another ten minutes for a cappucino and an Aperol. When the drinks came we immediately asked for the bill, which came about 20 minutes later. If the store had been full, but like that?
Plus it was exactly the same four weeks ago. Waited forever too. There were even fewer guests there.
If you don't feel like walking in, it's best to serve them immediately, then you'll have peace and quiet again 🤷🏼♀️
I wouldn't want to eat there given my experience.
