We really enjoy eating here, the sushi is excellent. But I would particularly like to praise the fact that we ordered a large amount of sushi to take away for our guests (on two weekends). When we asked, we were also given some dry ice and everything went great! On time, perfect and super good quality. Our guests were thrilled. Gladly again!!

The restaurant makes a very great impression. I ordered something to pick up, which was super easy to do via the homepage. By the time I arrived, my food was already ready. The employees are totally friendly.

I have now discovered the best sushi restaurants in Munich and the surrounding area. Tobu FFB is my favorite! The sushi is incredibly tasty and comparatively cheap. You definitely have to make a reservation. Whenever I'm there the restaurant is completely full. (You can see in the photos: TS1 (with the pink rice), TS5 (with the red caviar), OR9 + OR15 (with the fried onions on top, very similar in taste.) Absolutely recommended! I can hardly wait for my next visit!

The best Tai ever, the best sushi or bowls, everything was super delicious. Staff is quick and friendly. Price-performance ratio is right. The atmosphere is a bit old. And there is a draft at the entrance. But the food is simply brilliant and uniquely fresh and spicy. For me the best Thai restaurant in the district. I would also give 6 stars for the food. Absolutely recommended, you have to reserve in advance every day otherwise you won't have a chance or you'll have to wait a long time for a table. *****

The food is excellent. The service has improved significantly. But you can't feel comfortable in Tobu. The tables are very close together. When the place is full, it gets extremely loud and you can no longer have a proper conversation. Due to the rush for the few seats in the restaurant, the staff tries to "process" the guests as quickly as possible. You should quickly make room for the next guests. That evening, people waiting for a seat to become available stood in the entrance area of ​​the restaurant and on the steps in front of the front door. As soon as it was clear that one of us had finished eating, the plates were cleared away, even if the rest of the table was still eating. When, after dessert and espresso, we still didn't signal that we wanted to pay, the intervals between asking whether we wanted to order something else (but we still had our drinks in front of us) became increasingly shorter. After half an hour we gave up in frustration and paid. Unfortunately, this completely overshadows the fact that we had an excellent meal.

I get or eat lunch here regularly. The food is really good. The service is very functional. The most necessary things are done without any emotion or attention. Even though you come regularly and are well known, you are not greeted or given a smile. The prices have been increased significantly and the portions have been reduced. It is advertised that those who pick up items get a 10% discount, but this is not possible for lunch. It is completely incomprehensible that when you pick up your lunch dishes you don't get any of the starters listed, only if you eat on site. So the price for a small lunch without a starter is reasonable. The lack of customer friendliness gives me a maximum of 3/5 stars.

I had a very good meal with friends at "Tobu" on Friday. The duck with a side dish of vegetables and rice was extremely good with the tobu sauce (including oyster mushrooms etc.), one friend ate the duck with a spicy pepperoni sauce, followed by a soup and the other friend ate chicken with cashew sauce, both were also very satisfied. The portions were very generous at a reasonable price and the service was extremely nice and extremely friendly. We'll definitely come back.

Relatively uninterested and unattended service. Dry duck breast... too sweet mango sauce. Soup lukewarm. Soy sauce etc. is not put on the table by itself. This is different. Won't come back.

Food was good, duck was a bit tough at times. Portion size is good. Unfortunately, the service was poor and we often sat for a long time with empty glasses. The people in service hardly spoke to us, no friendly phrases, only the bare essentials were communicated. We asked whether a tonic water could also be ordered without gin, the lady in service asked specifically and answered our question in the affirmative. In the end the 0.2 tonic cost €6.5, the same price as the gin and tonic. When spoken to, they said that's the only way... Tables, chairs and toilet reasonably clean...

Last time, my dumplings were still ice cold inside (almost frozen) and my sushi menu should have included salmon maki, but I got cucumber maki, which was actually disappointing for the price. Otherwise it tastes good, so no 1 star

First and last visit! First you wait forever for the food and then my friend got the wrong dish and then on the second try she got the right one...but it was totally inedible! We then had her dish returned and shared my dish, which was really delicious. When we wanted to pay we were actually charged for the other dish that was given back?! When I insisted on having the dish taken out, the boss was called in and then the situation really escalated! I tried to keep calm and explain our side and that I wasn't going to pay for a dish that was first wrong and then inedible and then returned. The boss yelled at us and didn't let us pay the bill. He wanted to throw us out first and then call the police?! I then said that he was welcome to do this in the hope that they could then sort out the situation, but he didn't do it after all... I gave him the money for the meal and our drinks and he continued to shout at us that we should never come back! I told him that we didn't plan on ever coming back and when he didn't calm down we quickly left. I've never experienced anything like this!!!

We were there last night. Have reserved for inside. We were told we should sit outside because there was no air conditioning inside. Then it turned out that it was much cooler inside because of the air conditioning. I guess we didn't expect that we would have to use the toilet sometimes. We would be killed by mosquitoes outside. It was 32 degrees. We were 7 people. My drink was warm, then I had to ask twice about ice cubes and received no answer… Food wasn’t good….

Had dinner there yesterday with my friend. The service was quick, but only my friend's food came and, as the lady said, mine was forgotten. Didn't even get a sincere apology. Will definitely not eat there again

So far only had it delivered. But 100% convinced. Only had to wait 20 minutes and the food was still really hot and tasty as always. The only drawback is the minimum order value of 29 euros upon delivery. It's hard to get it together alone. Otherwise really recommended!!

The food used to be very good, but has declined significantly and is now just average. Both sushi and rice and noodle dishes are nicely prepared and taste ok, but the high price is not justified. The interior of the restaurant is really nice. The service staff during our visit were neutral to unfriendly and one service staff walked around in a muscle shirt, which seems inappropriate and unhygienic in a restaurant.

We were here for the first time. The food is nicely prepared and tastes OK too. What doesn't work at all is the service. The food was served with the information that the rice could be ordered free of charge. It's just stupid if you never see any service again. We even came to the bar to pay because none of the 5 waitresses came back to our table. Since the prices are rather high, I also expect corresponding service. The drinks and storage space in the cloakroom is also unsightly

Mango salad good, Thai curry below average, has deteriorated significantly compared to our first visit a year ago, the crispy duck on the curry was tough and fatty. For 18 euros this should definitely be better. And the second main course was a total disaster: the vegetables with chicken and lemongrass were covered in a sauce that tasted like rancid pork fat. We complained, then the grumpy chef came to the table with the nice service employee and tried to explain to us in an unfriendly tone that it was lemongrass. As if we couldn't taste the difference between lemongrass and fat. The dish didn't taste like lemongrass at all and when we found a hair in the food - according to the kitchen it was supposedly lemongrass - we had finally had enough. There was no apology from the chef and no taking back of the food. We then shared the Thai curry. We weren't even asked if we wanted another main course instead. In the end we still had to pay for the rancid food. We're definitely not coming back.

The best Thai curry is here! I can also recommend the vegetarian dumplings as a starter, as well as the fried sushi and the rice dish with cashew, eggplant and tomatoes. Everything I've ordered here so far has blown me away in terms of taste. There is also a unique aloe vera pineapple lemonade that is delicious. The restaurant is beautifully furnished and decorated and the presentation of the dishes is very nice. The only thing that is irritating is the music with the loud bass, but you can ignore that because of the great food.

Thursday evening 7:00 p.m. Fully...fortunately reserved. Friendly visits. It's incredibly loud because of all the people in the room. Conversation very tiring. We ordered homemade lemonade, very nice. The wnte was very fatty, pale fried, not very crispy. My orange sauce tasted like dishwater with starch, the Tobu sauce from the other plate was tasty. The rice was totally mushy. 17.90 euros is not appropriate for this. Too bad. It's definitely better

Can't understand the enthusiasm, the service there is very nice, I've been there twice, the food is okay, a mediocre Vietnamese, the food lacks sophistication, fresh coriander, lemongrass, Hung Cay, etc., the dip came from a bottle. I know Vietnamese food very well and regularly eat privately with Vietnamese people, but for me there are better Vietnamese restaurants

Great Asian cuisine... something for every taste

Delivery always takes over 1 hour, but today I waited 2 3/4 hours despite calling 3 times!!! I still had to pay the full price!! Impudence!!!!

A very nice restaurant, also for a cozy after work dinner with colleagues. 🍜 The food is really very good and I can recommend the Pho, but the dishes and especially the sushi also looked very good. ☺️ The service could be a little more accommodating, but that's just a small thing, otherwise the overall package was just right. 🫶🏼

We like to eat here and always pick up food. The food is consistently good, unfortunately I find 2 small bowls of rice for 4 main courses very manageable. The fact that they then charge €2.90 for another bowl of rice leaves a bad aftertaste. What really bothered me this time was the fact that there was no soap in the women's toilet - even after the notice at the counter, this didn't change. Another highlight was the broken lock on the toilet cubicle. Very unfortunate. But the condition of the menus doesn't seem to be that important either. There is room for improvement here.

My family and I have been regular customers at Tobu since 2018. The food was always fresh & sufficient. We were always prepared to pay for quality. Especially during the pandemic phase, we often ordered portions for several days to take home. As I said, it was a pleasure! But unfortunately I have to say that the last 2 orders, last status yesterday, are no longer edible for us. Nothing has changed in terms of aspect, portion size and taste. The problem lies in the preparation. We are now increasingly using flavor enhancers or other additives, which lead to bloated stomachs, extreme feelings of fullness, flatulence and discomfort. It can't be that after half a portion of rice with tofu, vegetables and Thai sauce I feel like I've eaten a fattened pig with rice, potatoes and noodles. Previously this problem was not there. I was able to eat some soup, some sushi and a whole portion of tofu with vegetables and was pleasantly full. We once had these reactions at a cheap Asian restaurant for €10 all you can eat. Eaten once & never again. At prices like that you can't expect anything. But at just under €16 a portion... that's just not possible. It's sad & very annoying Given the prices (160€ was the last order of food for several days) that Tobu charges, I expect, no, I want stability in quality. I realize that not every customer will have the same reaction when they visit Tobu, but unfortunately we won't be eating there anymore. Very, very unfortunate.

Excellent, quality of food was excellent, we ordered. The only thing I would like to note is that you have to reach a minimum order value of 65 euros. Which I find very unfortunate. Otherwise we would order more often.

We like to go here for lunch at lunchtime. Price/performance top :) Food is always delicious and looks exactly the same. The facility is just great. You can use the lunch menu here, which costs no more than €10.50, with a drink it's around €15 per person. Here you always get a small soup alongside the dish. Paying without a card is no problem 😊

Das Essen hat gut geschmeckt. Kartenzahlung wird ausdrücklich akzeptiert. Durch Verbindungsprobleme des Kartenlesegeräts war eine Kartenzahlung doch nicht möglich. Da mir zur Zahlung des vollständigen Betrags mit Bargeld 70 Cent fehlten, wurde ich aufgefordert eine Bank aufzusuchen. Diese Idee wurde anschließend verworfen und ich wurde nach einer Barzahlung der Rechnung (-70 Cent) unfreundlich verabschiedet.

Habe heute für €100 Sushi bestellt und waren sehr enttäuscht. Einiges vom Fisch schmeckte wirklich nicht frisch. Wir haben schon oft hier bestellt aber so schlecht war es nie.

Super leckerer Mittagstisch zu einem mehr als fairen Preis! Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur jedem empfehlen!

Haben gebratene Reisnudeln mit Garnelen, sowie Udonnudeln mit Ente gegessen, war beides hervorragend , wurden schnell bedient, allerdings war es ziemlich laut im Lokal, die Tische sind halt relativ eng gestellt, habe noch einen Luganer Wein getrunken, der mir sehr gut schmeckte, also, wir waren sehr zufrieden

Normalerweise mag ich das Restaurant sehr gerne, wenn die "grantige" Bedienung/Besitzerin oder was auch immer sie ist, nicht wäre. Wir hatten Sesambällchen, die verdorben waren. Die Bohnenpaste innen schmeckte nach Essig, war also gekippt. Kann passieren. Wir haben reklamiert und die "freundliche" Bedienung hat sie ohne Kommentar mitgenommen und auch noch die Augen gerollt. Wir wollten keine mehr, trotzdem hat sie uns Neue gebracht. Keine Entschuldigung oder irgendein Wort dazu. Hätte ich ein Lokal, und hätte verdorbene Speisen serviert, wäre mir das peinlich und ich würde mich entschuldigen und das Essen nicht berechnen. Wir mussten die Bällchen zahlen. Ich war immer sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen und alle anderen Bedienungen sind super nett, aber das geht gar nicht.

Sehr gutes Essen und ein Geschmackserlebnis

Essen ist „solide“ Qualität, okay. Beim Sushi bin ich Traditionalist und mag es nicht wenn darauf Saucen jeglicher Art verteilt werden. Aber gut Geschmacksache. Die anderen Gerichte Nudeln oder Reis mit Hähnchen, Rind, Ente sind geschmacklich alle gut. Leider fällt der Service nicht besonders hervor. Kann auch an der Sprachbarriere liegen. Ambiente ist ebenfalls okay.

Wie immer super lecker ! Diesmal gab es Sushi! Es war sehr Fisch und liebevoll zubereitet… wir hatten zu 3 das Menü für 2 Personen und hat unsvöllig ausgereicht !

Von Vorspeise über Hauptgericht bis Nachspeise hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt.

Das Essen und die hausgemachten Limonaden sind super. Saßen draussen. Leider direkt an der Hauptstraße.
