I really enjoy staying at Löwen in Hülsesbach. I'm always satisfied too. Only today I have something to complain about. I ordered beef liver with roasted potatoes - it came, but without sauce. Liver and roasted potatoes without sauce is very dry. The good thing about liver in general is the sauce. I then reordered this and found it on the bill with 2.50 EUR. I think that's not customer-friendly. Because - sauce belongs to the liver - you shouldn't charge EUR 2.50 for that. Therefore a star deduction in my rating
I bought 4 kebabs yesterday. The operators are very friendly, hardworking and prepare the food lovingly. They respond to individual wishes. Absolutely recommended.
We were very disappointed and the services that were requested and agreed were not provided. (160 guests)
1. was the statement that we work with 3-4 employees. That wasn't the case, we only came to 2.
2. The food was only ready after a delay of about 1 hour
3. When it was finished, our guests stood for between 30 to 45 minutes at the food distribution and more is not acceptable. (The last one got his now cold, dry meat at around 7:45 p.m. instead of 6 p.m. and later.
4. some of the meat was dry and cold.
5. It was also agreed that the remaining meat would be sliced and served for the midnight buffet, but this did not happen.
Nice to sit outside (summer), but for 21 euros I expect a large schnitzel that is freshly cut, breaded and pan-fried until golden brown!
What was served, however, was a ready-made frozen product from the deep fryer, which was served with a few fries/potatoes and a carelessly/poorly prepared salad. (Canteen food is rather lower level)
Staff also quite moody/(insolent)!
To put it bluntly, once and never again!!!
Spaetzle with sauce (no meat, no cheese!) and salad €23. To be honest, I think that's a disgrace. It's not possible to charge such prices in such a run-down place. Above all, the portion was far too small to fill you up.
We went to a conference in the Renstal winery and had a very informative tour of the largest vaulted cellar in Württemberg. The wines we tasted tasted very good.
The three of me went to this restaurant on a Thursday with a reservation. It is very comfortably furnished, a reservation doesn't hurt.
I decided on a Pizza Diavola, which I initially found to be a bit cheese-heavy, but otherwise the taste was okay.
I found the service lady a bit cold, but the service was friendly and quick
I had lunch with a colleague. Ambiance ok, service polite and friendly. The food was also ok, but a bit little. Sure, 10.80 for a day's meal is fair, but we got up hungry. Otherwise recommended.
