Schöner Biergarten mit gutem Essen 😊

Wir waren auf Empfehlung dort zum ersten Mal. Leider war das Wetter schlecht so das wir nicht im Biergarten sitzen konnten. Trotzdem war mit Reservierung beide Optionen möglich und wir hatten innen einen gemütlichen Platz. Service, Ambiente, Preis/Leistung sind gut. Die Biere naja Dinkelacker und Sanwald ist Geschmacksache, da gibt es weit hochwertigere Biere.... Achtung nur Barzahlung möglich . Kommen wieder....

An sich ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Das Schnitzel und der Rostbraten waren sehr gut. Allerdings war die Ente einer der schlechtesten die ich gegessen habe. Sehr trocken und wenig gewürzt. Das Rotkraut und die Knödel waren hingegen wieder gut. Ich war bezüglich der Ente sehr entäuscht und hoffe, dass dies nur ein Ausrutscher war. Der Service und das Ambiente waren absolut Top. Werde sicherlich nochmal kommen, aber ob ich nochmal eine Ente wählen würde weiß ich nicht.

Immer lecker, immer freundlich, ein schöner Platz um Lebensfreude zu erfahren in Form von Gaumen-Genüssen. Traditionelle Küche, unter anderen etliche schwäbisch-traditionelle Speisen. Angenehme Innenräume und ein Hof mit vielen Schattenplätzen. Von mir bekommt der "Löwen" eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung! Update 2026: Ist immernoch uneigeschränkt empfehlenswert!

Liebes Löwen Team. Das Silvester Menü war sensationell. Gute Stimmung, top Service. Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Danke für den schönen Abend

Wir waren an den Weihnachtsfeiertagen zu Gast. Die Bewertung erfolgt daher unter diesem Aspekt und den Preisen der Gerichte. Das Essen war geschmacklich gut, aber nicht herausragend, die Fleischportionen (speziell der Hirsch) hätten etwas größer ausfallen dürfen. Der Service war auf Zack, vor allem gemessen an der Vielzahl an Gästen (geschätzt 300). Beeindruckend, dass die Essen trotz voll besetztem Lokal praktisch gleichzeitig an den Tisch kamen, auch bei größeren Gruppen. Auf Grund des Zulaufs werden an Weihnachten Zeitfenster vergeben. Größter Kritikpunkt sind die exorbitanten Preise der in der Auswahl reduzierten Weihnachtskarte. Beispiele: Schnitzel Wiener Art (also vom Schwein) 25,90, Hirschbraten 35,90, Rumpsteak 42,90. Hier stimmt für mich das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht mehr und deshalb ziehe ich Punkte ab. Hinweis: Nur Barzahlung möglich!

Nachtrag 30.11.205 nach ein paar mal muss ich leider mitteilen das hier die Qualität deutlich nachgeladen hat. Speisen kalt und auch vom Geschmack deutliche schlechter. Super Freundlicher Empfang. Sehr leckere Küche. Absolute Empfehlung. Torwart vom FC Bayern war zufällig hier.

We were a group of seven at the Löwen restaurant in Beutelsbach for a homeowners' association meeting. We made the reservation specifically for our meeting. Upon entering, we immediately noticed an unpleasant smell of sweat, which was tolerable but not pleasant. The noise level was normal. We were given a table in the middle of the main dining area – fine. However, there was a small, separate room that we wanted to use for our meeting. Initially, this was agreed upon, then refused, with the explanation that other guests were arriving. This was demonstrably false: the room remained empty all evening. The wait for the menu was about 15 minutes, even though the restaurant wasn't full. When we finally went to order, it turned out that several dishes – including the chestnut soup advertised on the daily specials menu – were unavailable. We therefore decided to order only drinks. Unfortunately, the glasses weren't filled to the fill line. During our entire meeting (approximately two hours), no waiter came to ask if we needed anything else. When we paid, the waiter took the tip without permission. Only after we asked did he bring the change. We were also told not to come back because we hadn't eaten anything. Absolutely outrageous! In short: False promises (room supposedly reserved) Poor service Incomplete drinks Rude behavior towards guests I've rarely had such a negative experience. Definitely not recommended!

Ich gebe hier glatte 5 Sterne. Das Lokal ist super schön, was ich in Beutelsbach „von aussen“ niemals erwartet hätte. Absolut positiv „überrascht“ Das Serviceteam war extrem freundlich, super nett und zuvorkommend. Die Speisen, in meinem Fall ein Zwiebelrostbraten, war auf den Punkt und wie bestellt gebraten. Ich habe sehr selten dies erlebt, da bei vielen ein Rostbraten (auch wenn man den Medium rare bestellt) meist einfach nur durch bekommt. Update 09.11.2025: wieder einmal hier gewesen und sie leckere Ente gegessen. Absolut top…. Wie immer 😁 Hier war der Rostbraten wirklich top, Danke an der Stelle und echtes Kompliment an die Küche !!! Wir hatten noch Maultaschen (ein Traum) und die Kässpätzle (unendlich lecker in der Pfanne serviert) Für mich 100% top und klare Empfehlung!!!!

Portion size could be larger. Very few lentils and a small handful of spaetzle.

Friendly staff. The cheese spaetzle was okay, and the side salad was varied. The price/performance ratio is good.

Unfortunately, this isn't a particularly recommendable restaurant. The food isn't particularly impressive. The service is attentive, but at times a bit less than polite, and they don't accept card payments, which is a definite no-go these days. It was a pleasant evening in the beer garden, but nothing more. I won't be returning.

Nice outdoor seating area and consistently good service. That was unfortunately about it; the rest was a complete mess. The dishes were consistently cooked improperly; the onions and bacon on the Maultaschen were almost raw, the grilled pork was undercooked, etc. I assume the food here isn't up to scratch. It got particularly bad with the schnapps; I assume they're all sugared and perfumed for the discerning clientele. This certainly wasn't an old apricot from a wooden barrel. In conclusion, the quality is in no way commensurate with the prices.

Traditional restaurant with good food, friendly service, cozy beer garden

We celebrated our 50th and 60th birthdays there with friends and family. We celebrated our wedding there six years ago. We don't go there very often, but whenever we do, the staff is very attentive and the food has never disappointed. We always enjoy coming back, and your hospitality is always there. Whether inside or in the beer garden, it's a pleasure to be there. Thank you very much, and see you soon.

Cozy beer garden. The food was good quality. Egg noodles, cheese noodles, and Maultaschen... truly Swabian! Schnitzel, salad... everything was good. And the service team is really friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

We spontaneously stopped in for dinner with the family on a holiday, as we were in the area and were in the mood for some good, home-style food. We were seated very quickly, and the staff were consistently courteous and friendly. Our orders were also taken and brought promptly. I had a schnitzel with spaetzle, gravy, and a small side salad. The salad was fine, but I felt the schnitzel and spaetzle, along with the gravy, were a bit lacking in flavor. Perhaps opting for a cream sauce would have been better; the gravy combined with the schnitzel and spaetzle was too runny for me, and the flavor wasn't entirely convincing. The schnitzel was quite soft, unspectacular, and definitely on the thick side. Unfortunately, the pictures in the other reviews are more promising than my experience. The spaetzle were fine, but I suspect they weren't homemade. In conclusion, we still left satisfied as a group, as the prices were reasonable, the staff friendly, and the seating in the beer garden was inviting. I also have to mention the efforts to create a holiday menu; it's nice that they're putting some thought into this :) Perhaps the Gasthof Löwen can impress me better next time, perhaps with a Löwenpfännle (small pan), which unfortunately wasn't available on our visit. If they also accept card payments, it will be at least 4 stars :)

Absolutely amazing, what you experience here is something you wouldn't want to subject anyone to🤦🏽🤦🏽 the staff are totally intimidated, hardly saying a word. You have to wait half an hour until someone pays attention😒 The food may be good, but the food tastes better when the service pays attention. First time and never again, the place is an absolute disaster 🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽 you go home hungry, this filthy place doesn't even deserve a star

We were about to go out for dinner, but then, thanks to the frosty reception from the service, we decided to leave. Today was definitely the last time.

On a hot summer day, we found our little dining oasis in the beer garden under the linden trees. Pure relaxation. Friendly, young waiters. We quickly received our cooling drinks and our food. Delicious polo fries with wild garlic tagliatelli and a salad to start with. SUPERB. Almost too large a portion. We'll be happy to visit the Löwen again. The food is open all day!

Restaurant Löwen impresses with excellent food, friendly service, and a harmonious ambiance. The beautiful beer garden is a real highlight in summer—ideal for relaxing al fresco dining on warm days. The value for money is also excellent. A clear recommendation.

Swabian cuisine with a changing weekly menu. Beautiful, time-honored German restaurant with a correspondingly traditional ambience. No day off, warm food throughout! No card payment! Very attentive friendly service. The food is reasonably priced and excellently prepared. Highly recommended, and a reservation is also recommended.

Unfortunately, we had to ask several times whether it would be possible to pack too much food. We also had to wait a relatively long time for the food. As a traveling journalist on tour in the Remstal. Today on my tour I visited the Landgasthof Löwen in Beutelsbach. I had only heard positive things beforehand and today I was convinced and yes, everything was great. I was very pleased with the small beer garden and immediately felt like I had arrived there. We've eaten here several times and it's always been great, but today it was a bit chaotic. Ordered 4 meals, 3 came with the wrong side dishes, positive was immediately corrected, then the 4th came. Food: Crust roast was ordered with roasted potatoes and again came with the wrong side dish. Since we now wanted to eat together, that was accepted. Then the shock! The so-called crusted roast was a slice of pork belly cooked and the edge was so hard and inedible. But only the edge! But what does a slice of pork belly that was quite fatty and only boiled, not fried, have to do with a crusty roast and that for 20 euros? People are willing to pay good money for good food...

World-class schnitzel from my boyfriend and a mega roast beef with onions. Favorite restaurant number 1

It started so well. We ordered Schnitzel with roast potatoes and salad. The salad was to die for. When the schnitzel arrived, our faces grew longer and longer. Even before the waitress put the plates on the table, we could see already that these were not hand breaded schnitzels - they looked like schnitzels from the supermarket freezer. The breading was not fluffy and bubbled when frying but stuck firmly to the meat. On top of that, the meat didn't smell good. The roast potatoes were okay. When we complained to the waitress, she only respond was she had seen the chef breading the meat before. The bill was €83.70, I gave her €100 and she didn't want to give me anything back and but the money in her wallet. Only after I objected did she say that she had thought it was too much to tip and gave me my money back.

I really enjoy staying at Löwen in Hülsesbach. I'm always satisfied too. Only today I have something to complain about. I ordered beef liver with roasted potatoes - it came, but without sauce. Liver and roasted potatoes without sauce is very dry. The good thing about liver in general is the sauce. I then reordered this and found it on the invoice with 2.50 EUR. I think that's not customer-friendly. Because - sauce belongs to the liver - you shouldn't charge EUR 2.50 for that. Therefore a star deduction in my rating

This is how a Swabian restaurant should be. The Maultaschen taste excellent. The ambience may be old-fashioned for some. For my taste it is rustic and cozy.

Clean place, food OK. Service and reception very friendly. Prices are reasonable. The lentils and the spaetzle were good, the schnitzel was bland, the fries were soggy. The waiting time to order was quite long. The fact that payment by card is not possible is, in my opinion, rather unusual and out of date. On the topic of child-friendly: (+) Children's menu + high chairs available (-) No changing facilities. With a toddler really not good. It was basically worth a visit. There probably won't be a second visit.

Eating out today was, as always, very tasty. It's just a shame that the price on the card didn't match the price in the cash register storage. The meal was one euro cheaper on the menu. The only information that came up was that they forgot to sort out the cards. Which probably doesn't happen anymore today because it wasn't so full that it couldn't have been corrected straight away

Very tasty, good Swabian cuisine. There were around 30 people with a menu, we all got it almost at the same time and everything was still nice and hot. Not like you sometimes experience, where the side dishes are already cold by the time the meat arrives. We were completely satisfied.

Salad was swimming in sauce and was anything but crisp and fresh at 2 p.m. Salt the stuffing of Maultaschen. My objective criticism was loudly rejected by the waitress and ended in an unpleasant discussion. That's not how you treat guests! It's a shame, one of the few Swabian restaurants no longer values ​​quality. O
