The food arrived extremely late. The onion soup had nothing to do with onion soup. All in all, it was extremely unsatisfying.

An absolute insider tip. In the back there is a “pub atmosphere” with a beer bar and smoking area. Here, even as a non-smoker, you feel like you've been transported back to old times. Like in the old days in a village pub, everyone is on a first-name basis and Silvi and Volker are doing great. The front part is non-smoking and here the rooms are reminiscent of the "old lion" and there are also little things to eat. Everything is impeccably clean and not only the toilets are extremely well renovated. We would like to come more often. 😎

Very nice, green, Black Forest style restaurant (and not like on the hotel's homepage). The food was very tasty, varied and filling. Everyone will find something here and get their fill. The prices are also reasonable. The highlight are the very tasty cream puffs, which are available in different sizes and variations. The journey there is definitely worth it😉

Great environment, our apartment was large, very clean, and the staff was very accommodating, all wishes were fulfilled. Great breakfast buffet. Thank you for the lovely time.

We came here spontaneously and were completely thrilled by the very friendly service, the ambience and the really delicious pizza and will definitely come back when we are in the area.

Time stopped a little here. But that's exactly what makes it so special in the Burgstüble near the Wutach and Gauchach gorges. Rustic restaurant with a rustic innkeeper 😊 Classic cuisine like it used to be home-made and handmade. The prices are more than fair! Sausage salad, schnitzel with Bräggele or bratwurst, sandwiches, small but delicious. If you come on foot from the valley of the Gauchachschlucht or as a stopping point on a bike tour, it is a nice place to stop and refresh yourself. Locals and tourists meet here. When it's warm, the terrace in front of the house invites you to linger. Hopefully the Burgstüble will last a while with its charm 👍🏻

The restaurant is quaint and cozy. A family-run business with food like your grandparents made. A typical regional restaurant. Highly recommended.

Tasty food, friendly staff. The downside is that smoking is allowed both inside and outside.

Good and cheap food, the landlord was also very nice and accommodating. But it's definitely a bit out of date and not for young people. Even after eating in the next room at the smoky regulars' table, the clothes smell like they did after a visit to the pub 20 years ago.
