Good and inexpensive food, and the owner was very nice and accommodating. However, it's definitely a bit out of date and not for teenagers. Even after eating in the next room to the smoky bar, your clothes smell like they did after a visit to the pub 20 years ago.

The host (Ernst) is a passionate cook, but the food is exceptionally good and delicious! We'll be back.

We were there today, August 10, 2025. When we checked three hours earlier, Google Maps said they were open until 9:00 PM. They're closed for operational reasons. It's posted on the building. We're already looking forward to the cream puffs.

A real hidden gem. The back section has a pub atmosphere with a bar and a smoking area. Even non-smokers feel transported back in time. It's like a village pub back in the day, everyone's on a first-name basis, and Silvi and Volker do a fantastic job. The front section is non-smoking, and the rooms are reminiscent of the "old Lion" pub – incredibly cozy, and they also serve light snacks. Everything is spotlessly clean, and not just the restrooms are beautifully renovated. We'll definitely be back. 😎

A wonderfully quiet spot at the center of many hiking tours, this country inn, run by a friendly and very attentive young family, was a real surprise for us. The food is amazing. Unfortunately, we were only there for four evenings/nights, but we tried many of the varied menu during that time and found it extremely delicious and varied for both meat-eaters and vegans. The rooms are spacious, modern, comfortable, and clean, with very comfortable beds. And should anything happen, it's taken care of immediately and excellently. The hiking bus stop is just around the corner (a two-minute walk), and the parking lot is spacious, making even arriving by car stress-free. It's wonderfully quiet at night. I've rarely felt so completely at home in a hotel – highly recommended. We're thrilled!
