We were warmly welcomed by the landlady and felt so comfortable in the wonderfully restored restaurant. The menu is small and offers home cooking. Everything we tried was very tasty. The price-performance ratio is sensational. We will definitely come back, just to admire the beautiful cottage garden in summer.

Boss takes care of customers personally. Allergies are taken very seriously! Great individual service. Good price/performance ratio!

Very nice old restaurant with an incredibly great Black Forest atmosphere as well as a great selection of food and drinks. The food tasted fantastic, I highly recommend the current game dishes. There is also a very good selection of children's meals including ice cream for dessert. Highly recommended all around!!

There were four of us and we wanted to go to another restaurant at 1:15 p.m. but it was already closed at 1 p.m. We looked for open restaurants and came across the two brothers by chance, luckily. By the time we got there it was 1:50 p.m. Nevertheless, we were served in a friendly but unobtrusive manner and with a lot of patience, even though we were a little late. The atmosphere is very nice, you immediately feel at home. We ordered 2 soups in advance, 2 salads, 2 vegetable stir-fries and 2 different meat dishes. Everything was to our complete satisfaction, there was nothing to criticize, on the contrary. The brothers are somewhat reserved in their manner, absolutely unobtrusive but NOT unfriendly. It has more of an elegant style so as not to disturb the guest. If you want hustle and bustle, you should go to a beer tent or a station bar. You go to the Kreuzhof restaurant if you want to have a quiet, pleasant, tasty meal at moderate prices. At the end we started talking, we talked about food culture and “quality vs. cheap food”. To our surprise, we were given 4 small samples of a cake that we didn't know. Guys, please try this Marlenka cake instead of a usual run of the mill cake that you eat out of habit. Try alternative dishes from other cultures, you will be surprised at how delicious they can be. We were more than satisfied and, in retrospect, we are glad that the other restaurant was only open from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and that we were able to get to know this great restaurant with the two brothers and the chef. Unfortunately we come from a different place but if we take a trip to this area again, a visit will be a must. Thank you for the pleasant stay and the delicious food + dessert 🙏🏻

Pizza ok but not particularly tasty - unfortunately we weren't allowed to eat on the terrace despite the bright sun and warm weather

Great food, good portions and the inside of the restaurant is really nicely done. Staff are also friendly. Would just be good if they had a door between the kitchen and the restaurant. The noise and cigarette smoke are not necessarily something all guests enjoy.

Da wir wegen eines Wunsches einer Beilagenänderung , vom Gasthaus Kreuzhof, des Hauses verwiesen wurden, sind wir in dem Brauereigasthof Rogg gelandet. Es war innen wie außen voll besetzt. Trotzdem machte die Chefin es möglich, das wir einen Tisch bekamen. Das Essen dauerte zwar etwas, aber es war sowas von lecker, das die Wartezeit nicht ins Gewicht viel. Hier habe ich mein überbackenes Steak bekommen und der Salat war sowieso dabei. Frisch vom Büffet und reichlich. Mein Mann konnte dann die selbstgemachten Spätzle alleine vertilgen. Preis Leistung einfach nur top. Auch die Servicekräfte super freundlich und Serviceorientiert.

Très bonne adresse dans un endroit très calme. Le personnel est très accueillant, très professionnel et très aimable. Les meilleures asperges que l'on ait mangé depuis bien longtemps. Les plats, typiques de la région, étaient très bons également. A recommander
