Delicious pizzas in an incredible variety and nice atmosphere

We are currently on vacation in Lenzkirch. We discovered this lovely Italian restaurant and visited it for the second time today. From the moment you are greeted and escorted to your table, you sense the open, friendly Italian way of life that the young owners offer. From the very first moment, you feel like a welcome guest, whose well-being is taken care of. A quick chat here, a little story from life there, all relaxed and friendly. The diverse selection of food and drinks makes it difficult to decide. Drinks, starters, and main courses arrived promptly. Everything was delicious. The pizza is among the best we've ever eaten. The lovely ambiance in the restaurant, the striking cleanliness throughout, the pleasant atmosphere, and, last but not least, the friendliness shown to our two dogs, makes Il Carpaccio a place we can recommend with a clear conscience.

Super delicious pasta, fast and friendly service

We ate here on our first evening and were thoroughly satisfied. You can sit outside in a lovely, quiet setting, the server was very friendly, and the food (bruschetta, pizza, pasta) was truly delicious. The ice cream they serve here is particularly worth mentioning – it's worth the visit for that alone!

The food was good, but not exceptional. There were 11 people there, including 4 children. The service was friendly, warm, and attentive, and all the dishes were served promptly. The spaghetti with seafood tasted very good, but the quality of the seafood was probably the cheapest of its kind (a few mussels, but otherwise lots of small pieces, instead of juicy scampi or octopus). Some dishes were also a bit small, such as the cannelloni, which two people in the group ordered, both of whom were still hungry afterward. The value for money was still very good, though. The pizza was also good. It was a nice surprise that the restaurant offered ice cream scoops in a cone, which the children could help themselves to.

We spontaneously looked for a pizzeria. A local couple recommended it to us. It was 9:30 p.m. in the evening, and we ate the world's best pizzas. Tuna, pepperoni, and arugula and tomatoes. I honestly can't remember the last time we ate such a good pizza. The crust was perfect, slightly crispy yet soft. The sauce and cheese were delicate and mild. So, a 12 out of 10. It didn't sit heavy on the stomach. Arugula and tomatoes were fresh. The tuna was the perfect amount. The pepperoni was slightly spicy. The server was incredibly friendly, even though it was just before closing time. The prices were perfectly reasonable. We were still talking about the pizzas the next day. We're from Stuttgart, and those pizzerias can learn a thing or two. We'll be back—especially for the pizzas. 100% recommendation from us.

A relaxing place to sit drink and eat

You can order just about anything there. My fellow guests really appreciated the meat! The pizza was also delicious. Good service, they speak English. Clean restrooms. The food was sometimes too salty (fries, prawns). You can also order gluten-free pizzas here! Highly recommended!

Very fast, very tasty and great value for money

It felt like a little detour to the south. It was simply delicious, and the staff was very accommodating and friendly.

We're here for a health cure and wanted something different to try. Italian should always be good 😁. We weren't disappointed. The pizzas are very large. The tortellini portion is perfectly adequate. And, above all, it's delicious. 100% recommendation

The value for money was excellent, and the service was super fast and attentive. We felt comfortable. The food was perfectly fine and plentiful. Although it was already quite busy, we were seated immediately, and other guests were politely asked to wait a moment after us. They didn't have to wait long either.

The prices are fair, and the food was tasty and the portions were generous. It would be nice if they asked you every now and then if you'd like something to drink, especially when it's so hot. But we'd be happy to visit again.

The carpaccio is a real insider tip and definitely worth a visit. The food is absolutely outstanding, especially the meat and fish dishes (the salmon is divine). And for dessert, the ice cream is highly recommended. Our kids couldn't get enough of it. The service is excellent. Super friendly, fast, and helpful. We've been there twice now, and if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back again.

The ambience is ok, but not outstanding. Everything else was great! 4 service staff looked after everyone to their complete satisfaction that evening; such a large number of capable staff is rare these days. And the food was also very good. We'd love to come back.

There is no information that the place is closed, a note on the door is not enough, we drove 20 km in two cars to eat there and when we got there it turned out to be closed.

Super delicious food and everyone is very, very friendly. Definitely recommended. The restaurant is barrier-free. If you ask briefly, you can be let in at the left entrance (actually not the entrance to the restaurant but to apartments) and get to the restaurant inside the building. This is better for wheelchair users. It was really nice that we were offered that. A small point of criticism is the outdoor area in summer. This could be made a little nicer/more loving. Otherwise great.

Cozy restaurant with typical Italian hospitality. Our starters/soup and four different pizzas were excellent, the wine was ok, and at really reasonable prices. We will go again next time we visit Lenzkirch! Addendum 2022: After the change of tenant, meat and fish dishes have lost some of their sophistication, but pizza and pasta are still very good. Overall completely ok. Addendum 2024: I think the previous level has been fully restored.

Excellent Italian restaurant in Lenzkirch with a very pleasant terrace. Reservations recommended, the terrace was full the 2 evenings we were there. The pizzas and pastas are good, the Hugo and the mojito too.

Unfriendly as hell! My colleague wanted to order two pizzas over the phone to be picked up and was told 40 minutes. I said please not, that was too long. Mr. said on the phone “what should I do now, I’ve already typed”. I said he should please cancel it then he said "that's fine, I've already typed" then a lady took the phone and said "then never call again!" Something like that is just totally underground!!! 40 minutes for a pizza can be okay, but if you don't want it, you'll be insulted because it takes too long!

Allenfalls ein Laden zu Bestellen und Abholen! Mochte dem Laden nochmal eine Chance geben, nachdem wir hier Jahre zuvor enttäuscht nach Hause gegangen waren. Damals gab es Diskusionen über verbrannten Pizzaboden und vertauschte Salatsaucen. Völlig überforderten Personal! Diskussionen, wohlgemerkt! Heute: Essen super, tollen Abend, hatte schon alle Skepsis abgelegt, allerdings keine weitere Bedienung/Getränke mehr ab 20.45h. Begründung: Gläser schon abgewaschen und man hätte morgen noch andere Aufgaben. Auf den Vermerk hin, dass dies nicht förderlich für den weiteren Erhalt dieses Ladens sei, wurde stur weiter abkassiert. Hauptsache raus, so das Gefühl! Sorry, war dann echt zum letzten Mal bei euch zu Besuch und Mundpropaganda ist auch gerade hierzulande viel wert. Eure Küche ist toll. Euer Management lässt leider zu wünschen übrig! Weiterhin viel Erfolg!

Service staff are very accommodating, always friendly and also look good. Great clothes. Always drink fresh and cool. I recommend the outdoor area as the park has a very nice atmosphere. We were there on Sunday with 21 people for a confirmation ceremony. We can thoroughly recommend Il Carpaccio. The service was great, the food was delicious and the antipasti starter platters were brilliant. The boss is on the ball and so are the waitresses. All guests were thrilled.
