Great food, good portions and the inside of the restaurant is really nicely done. Staff are also friendly. Would just be good if they had a door between the kitchen and the restaurant. The noise and cigarette smoke are not necessarily something all guests enjoy.

Great, got a seat unannounced on the holiday and was served very, very friendly. The venison ragout is wonderful, a coincidence today because the big brewery around the corner (once again) had no more seats (although there seemed to be a lot available), I'll definitely be coming back with the family...

Good restaurant with a seasonal menu (game, pumpkin and mushrooms in October), VERY friendly service and an overall cozy atmosphere. In addition to some meat-based dishes, there are also good vegetarian options such as pumpkin soup and lasagna. The only complaint is that the dishes are all 20 percent too expensive for what I personally think is appropriate. For the price, I wouldn't eat here again. In total that means 4.5 stars and as we all know, you round them up. 😉

Great terrace with a view of the beautiful pond. The service staff is extremely friendly, kind, prompt and attentive. The food is freshly prepared and very tasty. The house dressing is highly recommended.

I can only repeat my good review from 2 years ago. The freshness and quality of the products is great. The prices are more than reasonable. We were able to eat outside again this afternoon, which was very nice. The food was delicious and plentiful, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Still a good and recommended restaurant for us.

We ate there with a group of 14 people after walking around the beautiful Windgfällweiher pond right next to it in beautiful weather (approx. 50 minutes). Very nice, newly renovated dining room, the food was super tasty, everyone actually enjoyed it, a small, clear menu, with additional seasonal dishes, but in a higher price range.

Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, I tried a vegetarian dish that was very good and fresh.

I traveled alone for 3 days and really had a really nice time. Checking in at the Hotel Schlehdorn was a bit unusual for me, but everything went smoothly and the route between the two hotels is less than 5 minutes away by car. I had a really great room plus a balcony with a view of the pond. The breakfast was sensational and really had everything your heart could desire! The staff was more than friendly and very accommodating. The ambience at breakfast with the view of the pond was fantastic. The entire hotel with the restaurant was very well maintained. The dinner was also very tasty. The only criticism: Unfortunately there are no dedicated parking spaces for hotel guests. But all in all I was extremely satisfied and can only recommend the hotel!

Nice restaurant... But unfortunately overpriced. It takes advantage of the fact that there are few open restaurants in this region.

What a comforting moment to relax, with a lovely panorama from the terrace which is pleasant. The service is warm, friendly and efficient. A beautiful, well-stocked menu for all tastes. I loved my warm smoked trout and a very cold and tangy rhubarb lemonade. Superb address with ample free parking.

We received a very friendly welcome at the charcoal burning factory, even though we showed up unannounced for lunch with 7 people and 3 dogs. We had the impression that the employees really enjoy their job - they do it very well and with humor. There was something delicious to eat for everyone, the food was creatively presented and the prices were reasonable. We will be very happy to come back!

We looked for a hotel in the Feldberg area where we could simply relax for three nights with our four-legged friend. The hotel itself is great. The rooms are spacious enough and the location is great. We had a balcony with a direct view of the Wingfällweier. The rooms are very clean and are cleaned thoroughly every day. The breakfast is sufficient and well stocked. One day we were a little late - the nice ladies at the restaurant even served us breakfast according to our wishes. This is a top service. We didn't try the restaurant itself because we found the prices to be quite high. The only drawback to the hotel: the parking spaces. Management should seriously think about marking parking spaces for hotel guests. The visitors to the pond opposite happily park in the hotel parking lot, so that you had beads of sweat on your forehead every time you had to drive away in your car to get a space again. Personally, I don't see the point of parking my car forever far away from a paid hotel.

Nice service Food OK but Presentation artificial: I don't understand why a salad comes in a preserving jar. Apparently the kitchen has never heard of salad dressings. Not even that oil belongs there. Prices are brutal. Beer 5.9 euros

The charcoal burning by the lake is a real highlight! In addition to the great restaurant with delicious food and friendly service, there is a beautiful circular route right by the lake. Great location by the lake, large terrace with a good restaurant, plenty of parking spaces and various play equipment (excavator & crane) for children.

I wanted to treat myself to a strawberry cup and for 9.00 euros I got 2 mundane scoops of vanilla ice cream, 2 chopped strawberries and a dollop of cream. No strawberry sauce, no nice cup... it's a shame that the location by the lake alone makes such a rip-off possible.

Very good restaurant with culinary delights

The quiet location of the hotel invites you to completely relax and unwind. The lake is beautiful and easy to walk around. The path is beautifully laid out and seating invites you to linger. The hotel staff lives service and was available to answer questions about the area and excursion destinations in a very friendly and helpful manner. The food tastes excellent, the slightly higher prices are okay, the portions were generous. The room was very modern, although it didn't have a balcony, it did have a direct view of the forest. The car can be parked in the on-site parking lot. A very successful stay!

We only went to the restaurant, I can't say anything about the hotel. The service was very friendly and attentive, there was hardly any waiting time. The food was to die for! Of course the prices are rather high but the cordon bleu and the trout fillets were really very tasty and plentiful. It's great that there's always warm food, even in the early afternoon. We came from a hike and were really hungry. We sat on the terrace and the view of the pond was also very nice. We'll definitely come back again! 😊

Location is just perfect; outstanding view to the lake, peaceful area. The place also has a playground for kids. It’s just perfect for everyone.

The charcoal burning factory is idyllically located on a small lake on the connecting road between Schluchsee and Titisee. Since the house is about 150 meters away from the street, you can enjoy your meal on the terrace without any noise. The food is excellent and prepared with great attention to detail. Pros: -Very nice location, view - enjoy your meal - enough parking spaces - large playground for children Cons: Staff probably had no motivation today, very long waiting time even though not all tables were occupied at the time of our visit. Only after we independently went to the counter inside and asked if there was self-service here? We were served outside by a gentleman who was more grumpy than friendly. We felt that our existence was more of a nuisance to the Lord.

Very nicely decorated restaurant with sophisticated dishes! Located on the beautiful Windgfällweiher, you can enjoy excellent food here, be it cakes or good main courses in the evening. The soups were also impressive. The price is a little higher, but not too exorbitant in a tourist region. We were here 3 times. Thanks to the nice service and the good cuisine!

I can't say anything about the hotel, I was only in the restaurant but the waitress and the other staff were extremely friendly, very accommodating and attentive. The cuisine is a bit higher quality, hence the prices, but it's worth it. The food was amazing. We had the roulade of the day and a beer-crusted roast, each with vegetables and knöpfle, and once a panna cotta with mango mousse. Everything was really super delicious and large portions. The hotel-restaurant is located a little away on a pond near Lake Schluchsee and also has a very large, great playground for children and also a large parking lot. Dogs are welcome and you can also get water for them - it's no problem inside or outside.

Jonasch is a very attentive waitress. He did a great job of assigning us to a table and even though the restaurant was full, he always kept calm and was friendly. The food is excellent. Not only the palate but also the eyes clearly eat here. Everything was very clean and we felt comfortable. Higher price category, but worth every euro. We are very happy to recommend it.

I went to the charcoal burning factory for the first time with my girlfriend on Saturday February 17th. Food was very tasty. We had Ochsrnbäckle and the salmon. After the first impression wasn't great, the service became more and more friendly with each order. What didn't work at all was the table decoration I'd rather not have a rose like the one in the picture. But it wasn't just like that at our table either. Nonetheless, will come again. The food was really very good, as already mentioned.

Dit is een beoordeling over hotel en restaurant. Mooi hotel, verzorgd, proper, heerlijke ton sauna. Het restaurant: vriendelijk personeel, eten is zwaar om te verteren. Probleem met hotel: restaurant sluit om 20u, op de kamer geen waterkoker, dus na 8 u s' avonds niets meer mogelijk. Wil graag een avond thee drinkt, neem je eigen waterkoker mee.

We particularly appreciated the beautiful, modern rooms of the newly renovated hotel, the good cuisine, the barrel sauna with a view of the lake, as well as the picturesque surroundings around the pond including the beaver den. If you like and know it simply, this is something special for you, but if you just want to eat a sauce without flavor enhancers, just like before and then just be full, this is the right place for you. The food was to die for. My son, who has actually eaten the children's schnitzel from many cards, said: Mom, I'll eat all of it. I've never tasted a schnitzel so good... And children always tell the truth. Thanks for the great food, great wine and service. We will be back!

Unaufmerksame Bedienung, lange Wartezeit bis zur Bestellung (obwohl anfangs nur 4 Tische belegt waren und 3 Servicekräfte hinter dem Tresen), laute Geräuschkulisse von der Küche, es zog kalt hinein, ungemütlich. Das Essen war sehr gut, man verliert aber die Freude, wenn man als Gast ignoriert wird.

Das Essen war echt lecker auch wenn es an pasr Gerichten geschmacklich besser und schlechter war. Die Gerichte hätten etwas mehr Gewürze und Kräuter vertragen können. Aber insgesamt super Qualität. Service war auch freundlich und aufmerksam. Die etwas gehobenen Preise für das Essen sind angemessen. Für die Getränke kann es vielleicht etwas weniger sein. Aber insgesamt gönnt man sich so einen Besuch einfach und trinkt dann ein Glas Wein weniger.

Zimmer keinen Kleiderschrank keine Sitzgelegenheit keinen Kühlschrank. Restaurant Mittwoch geschlossene Gesellschaft Donnerstag Ruhetag. Kein separater Aufenthaltsraum für Hotelgäste. Frühstück gut und Personal sehr freundlich.

Wir waren im Restaurant zum Mittagessen und abgesehen von der tollen Auswahl der Speisen und einer super Qualität hat uns auch der Geschmack überzeugt. Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns für die kinderfreundlichkeit die unserem Sohn entgegengebracht wurde. Nach dem Essen kann man um den wunderschönen See spazieren.

Wir (4 Personen)haben uns spontan auf Grund der wunderschönen Lage fürs Mittagessen in das Restaurant entschieden. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Wir haben eine große Flasche stilles Wasser bestellt, es ist uns aber Leitungswasser (in der Kanne) serviert worden. Für die mittelmäßige Speisen sind die Preise ganz schön hoch angesetzt. Die Kellnerin mit dem blonden Pferdeschwanz war nicht freundlich zu uns,man hatte das Gefühl nicht besonders willkommen zu sein. Aus diesem Grund kommen wir nicht nochmal.

Schönes romantisch gelegenes Hotel ohne Wellness u d Schnickschnak aber suprr um sich nach Aktivitäten wie Wandern zu erholen.

Wir waren nur im Restaurant. I h habe noch nie ein so leckeres Cordon bleu gegessen. Zwar etwas teurer, aber das war es wert. Fie Angestellten waren sehr lieb und lustig drauf. Für zwei Gerichte und fünf Getränke kann man um die 100 Euro rechnen.

Wir sind wiedermal total begeistert. Super Team und Ambiente, vorallem das Essen ist großartig. Würden eine Reservierung empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder, versprochen.

Sehr leckeres, liebevoll zubereitetes und angerichtetes Essen. Das Gemüse war frisch und knackig. Allgemein war das Essen sehr qualitativ hochwertig.

Super schönes Hotel mit exzellenter Gaststätte. Besonders die wunderschöne Lage ist toll. Im Restaurant gibt es große Portionen. Unter anderem kann ich den Wurstsalat empfehlen.
