Today I was here again for the first time in years - most recently at the old location - and it is still very, very tasty! The atmosphere is no longer “snack-like” and the hosts are very friendly and in a good mood. It's a shame that I don't live around the corner and no longer work in GP, ​​otherwise I would be here much more often.

The best Italian in Göppingen! I was at Gran Duca last night and I'm still loving it! There are many Italian restaurants, but this restaurant really tops them all. You feel comfortable here from the first second. The evening started fantastically with a warm welcome. The food was an absolute dream. I had the truffle pasta, and I'll be honest, I haven't had something that delicious in a long time. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the truffles were very aromatic. My companion had a Pizza Reale and it was also amazing: thin base, fresh ingredients - just the way you want a pizza. But what made the evening even more special was the service. So friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The waiters always had a smile on their faces, were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and had the best recommendations. At the end there was of course a homemade tiramisu with espresso. If you are looking for an Italian restaurant in Göppingen, you should definitely go here. I'm really looking forward to the next time! A little tip: A reservation is highly recommended here, as the restaurant is very busy - and rightly so!

New owner, unfortunately not edible. Bread crumbly, sticky and dry, chips tasteless and soggy, as was the meat. Overall pretty much the exact opposite of the previous owner. A real, real shame. R.I.P.
