We visited my sister in Göppingen on July 19, 2025. She had reserved a table for three people at Andechser in Göppingen at 1:00 PM. Coming from Freiburg, we were really looking forward to Andechser and its good food. When we got there, no one knew about our table reservation, no one! That surprised us. We had to ask several waiters and the landlady for entry. After a long back and forth, we were finally given a table, but were told to vacate it by 3:00 PM at the latest. The food gets 5 stars, the Andechser and its staff minus 7 stars. We will always remember this restaurant and advise everyone against going to the Andechser Göppingen. Well, I called and ordered food for a specific time. They said it would be no problem. When we went to pick up the food, the order hadn't even been passed on to the kitchen. We had to wait. It wouldn't have been a problem, but we were in a hurry because of the hospital. The food was great, as always.

You can do it once. Bavarian coziness, however, looks different.

There is a permanent memory card and an additional weekly menu from Monday to Friday as well as for the weekend with other changing dishes. The food and the ambience are Bavarian, Swabian classic to rustic, but sometimes interpreted in a modern way. In any case, super tasty and tasty, rich and reasonably priced, good middle class. We got a table for 4 people at short notice. The staff is super friendly. The food came very quickly, at the same time and everything was delicious! If it weren't for the sometimes very high prices, I would like to give it 5 stars. But I don't think it's appropriate to charge over €20 for a Viennese-style schnitzel! The portions were very good. And Andechser Weizen is simply the best there is! It's also a shame that there isn't much choice for vegetarians!

We had a great time on Easter Sunday. The roulades, cheese spaetzle, and dessert were excellent! Very friendly service :-) Keep it up! A small play area for the little ones would be nice, perfect!

We were at the Andechser for the first time as guests of a larger birthday party and were very positively surprised. The ambience is very cozy thanks to all the wood and the rooms are very spacious. The service was super friendly, fast and well-rehearsed. But we were particularly impressed by the food - we haven't had such good Swabian food in a long time! Class! So if you're in the Göppingen area, you can go to Andechser with a clear conscience and enjoy a nice evening!

This time I was in the restaurant on December 23rd, 2024 from around 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and it was great. As always, very satisfied. The service from employee “Nene” was exemplary. The food and the presentations are delicacies: The Andechser is highly recommended in Göppingen as a typical Bavarian restaurant and has a tradition with style and atmosphere.

The food was good but relatively expensive. Luckily there is a good alternative in Göppingen with great prices and even better beer.

You haven't been to the Andechser in Göppingen yet? The monastery's only brewery restaurant between Munich and Stuttgart. Then you really missed something. A menu as you would expect from a brewery restaurant, rounded off with a varied daily and lunch menu with a seasonal reference. And important - it is freshly prepared and brought to the table at a good price-performance ratio. The Andechs monastery beers, of course also non-alcoholic monastery beers, other non-alcoholic drinks, or regional wines are always served with a friendly smile alongside the dishes freshly prepared by the kitchen team. You can enjoy all of this 7 days a week, where the focus is on the guest. We are happy to use this regularly and always look forward to every visit to Andechser. The Andechser in Göppingen is a real highlight: rustic furnishings, great ambience and first-class, friendly service. The Andechs pan was a delight - plentiful, meaty and perfectly prepared, just the thing for real connoisseurs. Vegetarians are clearly missing out on the best part here - after all, a salad doesn't need its own pan! I'll definitely come back because everything is just right here.

If you ever have the opportunity to indulge in the enjoyment of the Andechser, you should do so. My personal highlight in the Andesch pan with four types of meat was the red cabbage, which I ordered as a replacement for the bacon cabbage. I'm a sucker for red cabbage and ate the best I've ever had in a restaurant. The special thing about this one is that it is prepared with a sour cinnamon baked apple, which gives it a fresh and Christmassy note. In combination with the generous portion of meat and the delicious dumplings, it's a well-rounded dish. Would I go there again? Clear.

Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen hat uns unser Weg ins Andechser geführt. Das Restaurant war ausgebucht. Wir hatten trotzdem das Glück, dass wir aufgrund des überaus freundlichen Kellners eine Platz zum Abendessen bekommen haben. Sehr Kunden orientiert, danke dafür. Wir wurden von ihm sehr gut bedient. Das Essen hat uns gut geschmeckt. Die Portionen waren sehr groß und nicht zu bewältigen. Das Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis passt. Sollte uns unser Weg nochmal nach Göppingen führen, dann würden wir auf alle Fälle wieder kommen.

Obwohl Essen im Voraus bestehlt war gab es das gewünschte Mittagsmenü nicht mehr hatte es sowohl im Internet als auch Telefonisch bestehlt habe dann ein alternativ Gericht gegessen das was nicht besonders der Andechser Göppingen war auch nicht tolerant kein Kaffee oder Schnaps oder ne Preisminderung einfach nicht zu empfehlen

Tried this restaurant for a dinner on a business trip. There were two of us and we both took Kaser Spetzle Too bad they were pre-cooked and reheated tagliatelle with cheese, not bad but not a good typical dish made on the spot either. Good beer. Good service with kind and nice staff, a location that on the veranda does not have the taste of the classic German restaurant.

Great atmosphere, received a very friendly welcome. Dogs are not a problem, quite the opposite. However, there was no water bowl for the dog. The food was very good, the portions were large and the price was quite fair.

I have previously visited the Andechs monastery in Bavaria a few times so was delighted to find this restaurant in Goppingen. As you would expect the beer was excellent, and the food wholesome and tasty. Service from Tia was absolutely excellent so I'd highly recommend visiting this great restaurant.

We really enjoy eating at Andechser. The service and food are always wonderful. We also celebrated our wedding in Andechser. The organization and cooperation with the service in advance was super easy, friendly and problem-free; everything was taken into account and all the extras were taken into account. On our day we were welcomed very openly, the decoration was really nice and the service was brilliant. We would definitely recommend. We always enjoy going to Andechser to eat and enjoy our time.
