Blaue Olive Taverne in Göppingen

We were invited for a birthday and overall we were very satisfied. The food was really great – fresh, tasty and with a good selection. Two service employees put in a lot of effort and were very attentive. Unfortunately, one of the employees seemed rather unfriendly and a bit condescending. Overall a nice evening, hence 4 out of 5 stars.

Beautifully furnished restaurant with flair, very nice service and absolutely delicious food with a good price-performance ratio. Salad and dessert also very tasty and on the house :-) Absolute recommendation: gyros and calamari plate!

There is also moussaka here - that was the perfect reason for us to eat here! 🤩 We were surprised with a free salad as a starter, and even dessert was on the house. The ambience is nice and there is a good selection of seating.

A great evening with friends Four of us went to the Greek restaurant and it was simply outstanding! Everything was great: the service was friendly and attentive, and the food left nothing to be desired. We had a mixed appetizer platter that scored with fresh and varied delicacies. The mixed main course platter was perfectly prepared, with juicy meat and great side dishes. The crowning finale was delicious galaktoboureko – a dream for every dessert lover! An all-round successful evening. We'd love to come back!

I had dinner here on a Friday evening. I didn't make a reservation, but I still got a spot. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty. I had bifteki with rice and a small salad. The portion size is more than sufficient. Price-performance is great. I'll definitely be back and can recommend the Blue Olive Tavern.

I had calamari with rice. I can highly recommend it. Grilled and fried simply tastes like a dream!!! At the end we also got the famous Galaktobureko. As a Greek I can say that it is the best thing I have ever eaten. It's definitely worth going by. Thank you for the lovely evening!!!!

Been there for the first time. Really nicely furnished and well located next to the outdoor pool and the sports field. So there are plenty of parking spaces available. A good salad, very tasty food like gratinated gyros and a mega dessert

Food was again excellent. The service had its difficulties as the restaurant was quite full. But he was still extremely friendly. Gladly again.

The three of us had dinner in the evening. All three meals were absolutely delicious! Gyros with fries, gyros with calamari and fries and pike perch with rice. A salad for everyone. Highly recommended. Fries really crispy, gyros juicy and zander well fried. And a surprise on the house for dessert. We will definitely recommend you to others and would be happy to come back. Today I ate grilled sea bream with vegetables and potatoes, followed by a green salad. Excellently cooked to perfection, crispy and soft on the inside, the vegetables (eggplant, cauliflower, broccoli and carrots) perfect. And very friendly service 😊

We were there today with our 2 children and it was very friendly and pleasant! Food was perfect! We once ordered the platter for 2 people, but it's actually enough for 4 people! Starter was salad with a very tasty home dressing, and for dessert we had crème brulle, sweets for our son and ouzo. We recommend this restaurant to everyone! Bigte plus is also very chill music, which is very important for us! P.s. Pictures are missing because we ate everything too quickly

Schade… Haben zum ersten Mal dort Essen zur Abholung bestellt. Service war super (freundlich, nett und kompetent). Auch die kurze Abholzeit von 10 Minuten fand ich gut, allerdings steckt da auch schon der Haken drin: Das Gyros war im Fett ertränkt, lauwarm und vermutlich eher aufgewärmt als frisch zubereitet… Insgesamt war das Essen etwas trostlos und geschmacklich leider nichts besonderes.

Ich habe da mein 50 jähriges Jubiläum gefeiert. Ich und meine Gäste waren vom Ambiente und vom reichhaltiges Essen sehr begeistert, es war sehr lecker, alles hat fantastisch geschmeckt. Vielen Herzlichen Dankeschön an den Koch und die Bedienung. Ich werde euch sehr gerne weiter empfehlen.

Mittlerweile unser Lieblingsgrieche in größerer Umgebung, super leckere und authentische Vorspeisen, viele vegetarische Gerichte und Tagesessen. Extrawünsche werden unkompliziert und ohne Aufpreis umgesetzt und es sind immer freundliche Bedienungen dort. Preislich auch unschlagbar!

Leider ist die Karte so eingeschränkt, dass es für uns nicht mehr in Frage kommt in die Blaue Olive zu gehen. Die Aussage das gibt es ab und zu, brauch ich nicht. Die Grundidee vom Lokal ist super, die Umsetzung ist leider nicht passend. Lokal ist sehr schön, Personal freundlich.

Das Essen ist top. Der Service sehr zuvorkommend. Toll eingerichtet. Eigene Wünsche und Vorschläge werden berücksichtigt. Alles wird möglich gemacht.

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit in der Blauen Olive gefeiert und können nur von einem perfekten Tag berichten. Der Service, das Essen und das ganze Ambiente haben uns und unsere Gäste vollkommen überzeugt und den Tag perfekt gemacht! Preis/Leistung ist absolut perfekt!!!!
