We celebrated our 20th class reunion with over 50 people at the Waldschänke in Ellwangen at the beginning of May – and what can we say: It was simply fantastic! The service was outstanding – it's rare to find such a dedicated, warm, and yet absolutely professional team these days. It was clear that everyone here works hand in hand, and the guest is the focus. Our every need was literally anticipated – with a smile, genuine friendliness, and great attention to detail. The food was excellent, fresh, flavorful, and there was something for everyone. Even though we ran out of limes for the cocktails at the end, this was perfectly managed with creativity and plenty of charm. 😊 A very special thank you also for the chuckle afterward when we looked through the photo booth pictures – the first and last photos were from the bar team, and even at 3:30 a.m., everyone still looked as fresh and motivated as before the event – ​​see the photo for proof 😊 Simply fantastic! Absolutely recommend it – we'd love to come back!

Beware online menu mentions nothing about the pizza size of 25cm. I'd prefer paying 2 euro more and having the standard benchmark of 30cm.Pizza tasted good. Bolognese sauce was pretty bland. Price changed by 1 euro. Zingari hat sehr gut geschmeckt.

The ingredients were fresh and plentiful. Meat was tender, vegetables were fresh. However, it didn't really taste Thai to me. The curry with chicken could also have been a German chicken and cream slices. Also because the coconut cream tasted almost like normal cream. I was also disappointed by the lack of sharpness. Different levels of spiciness are indicated on the menu. I like spicy food, but probably more by German standards, so I don't have any extreme demands here. Here, however, the specified “medium hot” (vegetable curry) or “sweetly hot” (chicken curry) was not even slightly hot, but really not at all. I thought that was a shame because it was specifically stated differently and I therefore assumed that I would get a bit of spiciness. Perhaps we should have tried other dishes than the curries, perhaps they would have been more to our liking. In short: there is really nothing to complain about in terms of quality, portion size and service, but the taste was rather average and that was different a few years ago. There is more authentic Thai cuisine in the area, which I would prefer after my last visit.

The food was excellent, the service competent, friendly and humorous. I find the fact that the room was essentially left as an old economy and friendly supplemented with sunny colors to be good and appealing. We'd be happy to come back when we're in the area.
