Stopped on a motorcycle ride and went for dinner, it was delicious, we had paprika goulash and schnitzel, the landlord cooks it himself and highly recommends it
Service was very friendly, food was extremely tasty, freshly prepared and attractively presented. Children's food is delicious and in the right portion size, duck meat is tender, fresh ingredients. Guest room comfortable.
I went for my birthday in December with my family and in-laws. So there were six of us. Our seat was on the lower level in the grape arbor. However, there is a banquet there. The people were so loud that we had to shout at the next table that we understood each other. Since you don't do this for long, everyone only talked to the people sitting next to them. Of course it's difficult and it's difficult or impossible to stop the noise from the guests, but you shouldn't overcrowd the restaurant so much. One less table would have been better (I would rather have been rejected than not being able to talk about the table for over an hour). Hence the deduction for the ambience. The food was okay, but I got the same quality at a price where I had to pay half as much. Since the price is absolutely inadequate compared to the utilization and volume and thus also the satisfaction, I am deducting two stars here. Regarding the service: Here too, different food came than ordered, which we complained about. My daughter even did this twice when it came to dessert. First she ordered a scoop of lemon ice cream and got a lemon sorbet. Since she didn't eat it, we sent it back and ordered the same thing again. Then came a scoop of lemon and a scoop of chocolate. Then I surrendered, left the ice cream completely and then we went home. The operator probably couldn't understand it because of the volume. Well all in all it was the worst restaurant stay in 40 years. The price performance was also shocking to the other person.
We did the all you can eat, which costs €25. If you have more than one drink you'll spend between €30 and €40, which sounds like a lot at first, but at the end of the day it's worth the money. I ended up eating almost four tarte flambées. You sit there for a long time and can feast your way through the menu, which leaves nothing to be desired. There is practically nothing that doesn't exist, everyone gets their money's worth. The sweet tarte flambées at the end are also recommended!
Beautiful old brewery restaurant. Good bourgeois. Large portions. Standard menu + changing daily menu.
Unfortunately, changes to supplements incur an additional charge of €2.
Be sure to reserve.
Entrance behind the house.
Delicious, rustic, funny, original and hearty.
Highly recommended.
But reserve in good time.
That's the only downside to the offer: When it's full, it can get quite loud in places.
There were 7 of us. Unfortunately, despite the empty restaurant, our food came so staggered that the first ones had already finished eating by the time the last one got their food...
The taste of the food was ok.
The pricing is very questionable. If I subtract our food from the total price and then divide the drinks by the number, I get a drink price of 5.10.
We're not coming anymore...
I've eaten there several times now.
It was always very tasty and plentiful.
The service is always very accommodating in every respect and there is plenty of fun to be had even when the store is full.
Guests' wishes are always taken into account whenever possible.
We have had the pleasure of spending many lovely evenings there.
And all I can say about the non-sliced pizzas is if I want my pizza to come sliced, I just order it sliced.
To be honest, I've eaten pizzas there several times, but have never had any problems cutting the pizzas.
For me it is the best Italian in Bad Mergentheim.
Dear Il Mulino team, keep it up!
