Yesterday we ate at Schurk again after a long time and were absolutely satisfied. Very nice atmosphere, super delicious food and great service. However, you should be aware that it is rather expensive. Tip: be sure to reserve a table

Stopped on a motorbike ride and went for dinner, it was delicious, we had paprika goulash and schnitzel, the landlord cooks it himself and highly recommends it

Family-run inn with very friendly staff and very good dishes. There is also a great outdoor area in the courtyard.

We ate here for the first time and we were thrilled. Very nice service, food was very tasty and on the table quickly even though there were 11 of us. Can only recommend it!

Very nice garden under chestnut trees. Extremely friendly hosts. Delicious food and fine wines.

Very pleasant 5 p.m. recommended with children. We were able to eat our way through the menu with 3 adults and there was something for everyone.

The food is rather average and not outstanding. Changes to the supplements are not possible, which is a shame... The beer is very good and the service was ok apart from the inflexibility when changing the side dish.

We were a registered group in the old Essen office. I don't want to say anything against the food, it was delicious and you'll feel full. But what doesn't work at all are the following things. 1. The food was pre-ordered, but due to illness not everyone who registered could come. When the boss noticed this, he asked which meals were missing. He was informed of this. A short time later the cook (or boss?) came and asked the same thing. The end of the song was, everyone had their food except me. That got lost in the confusion. Okay, it can happen but, 2. There were guests sitting at the neighboring table, suddenly the boss came to this table and said that she was very embarrassed but that their reservation had been lost or canceled "by a colleague" and that they needed the table now. They then got up and (presumably) sat down somewhere else. Then the boss and boss came to our table and asked that one of us move because they needed our table now too. We had 3 tables, one of which was only occupied by one person. In short, a lot goes wrong in this restaurant. But what would work great... Number 3: The constant stupid jokes and sayings from the head waiter. Who still tells his own jokes incorrectly. You can do that once, but sometimes it just gets annoying. Especially if the service works poorly. In short, I won't be eating here again anytime soon.

I really liked it here. First we enjoyed lunch and a delicious coffee and cake before driving home. Price-performance ratio top 👍 I can recommend it 💕

There were 7 of us. Unfortunately, despite the empty restaurant, our food came so staggered that the first ones had already finished eating by the time the last one got their food... The taste of the food was ok. The pricing is very questionable. If I subtract our food from the total price and then divide the drinks by the number, I get a drink price of 5.10. We're not coming anymore...
