This was our first time at Nam Dinh. The pleasant, high-quality ambiance immediately captivated us at our table. The open kitchen was also a highlight. The background music was wonderfully subtle, yet very well chosen. We ordered the pre-Christmas Vietnamese goose, which is only offered for a few weeks before Christmas. It was delicious and highly recommended! The service was friendly and attentive. We'd love to return to try more dishes from their extensive menu!

Absolutely unacceptable. Although I had already paid the exorbitant price of €8 (elsewhere a doner kebab costs €7), I was served a doner that had been mistakenly prepared for another customer. When it became clear that it was my turn, the ingredients that had already been put in were simply removed with tongs instead of being remade. Despite this, remnants of the unwanted ingredients were still inside, and there was also hot sauce, which I explicitly did not want. For this price, I expect freshness, hygiene, and proper service. This was a disaster and completely destroyed my trust.

The food is very good. For me, the best Indian curry I've had in Potsdam so far. Unfortunately, I have to give the service two stars. People were waiting between 45 and 90 minutes for their food, despite the restaurant not being full. Additionally, we had to return incorrect orders approximately five times and reorder several times. The staff were nice about it and very apologetic. Perhaps on this evening, there was an unexpected and unplanned staffing issue, and they had to bring in family and friends to help. I do not know. The fault definitely lies with the organisation and management, who should ensure that the serving staff know what they are doing and that communication with the kitchen works properly. Also, sooner or later, we stood up several times to go wherever our food was. A manager should have visited our table at least to apologise, and also the other tables around us. Hopefully, this chaos was an isolated incident. Also, when booking a table, I would recommend specifying in the main seating area, because the secondary seating area down a few steps to the left when you enter is an echo box. Even with only 30% of the tables seated (towards the end of the evening), it was still pretty loud in there. I would contract an acoustic company to install sound-dampening materials and objects. The friendly people at the table next to us also had to wait 90 minutes for their food. They seemed to know the restaurant pretty well and really enjoyed one of the staff members serving them flaming alcoholic drinks, where the burning liquid was poured from one brandy glass into another.

For us, this is an absolute must once a year! There's not a single thing we could complain about. The service = simply outstanding. The food = simply outstanding. The ambiance and atmosphere = simply outstanding. Everyone is incredibly friendly, extremely attentive, and always up for a chat. The food is regional, super fresh, and all homemade! There's no better restaurant in the Elbe-Elster district. Keep up the great work, we'll be back!

I only waited 3 minutes and my food was ready, the staff is very friendly, the meat was very crispy and juicy, very tasty.

The food was absolutely delicious! The Fasuli Tava was expertly prepared and very aromatic, and the Kaymaklı Köfte was also really tasty. Highly recommended!

I've been there twice now – once I had the fried chicken. Very good! Crispy, flavorful, juicy... Well done! Then I tried the smash burger. And I was really surprised: it's exceptionally good! Juicy, crispy edges... Truly a great burger! I'll definitely be back!
