A nice restaurant in a disused train station. Here you can eat directly at the edge of the platform. Good Swabian cuisine with friendly service.

I thought about it for a long time. Unfortunately I can only give it two stars because despite the nice people who work there, the delicious food and a beautiful environment. I don't approve of having to pay so much extra for ketchup and bread with soup. And above all, it is not mentioned either on the menu or when ordering. I can understand that you have to earn money, but that's going too far for me.

Today we completed the trolley tour - a great experience. Here at the terminus we enjoyed a cold beer, but after the many kilometers and the heat it was too warm for us to eat. The service was friendly and quick. We also found it nice that the operators helped us move the trolley. We'd love to come back, even for dinner :-)

We don't live far away and have only just visited this brilliant restaurant. The food and service is simply great. The ambience inside is nice and well decorated. The room for parties or something similar is simply unique because you can see the beautiful flair of the old train station. When the weather is nice you can also dine outside but everything is kept very simple but please don't forget everything costs money and somehow it all has to be financed so never think negatively and try it out and you will be amazed.

Café/restaurant with very nice service in the old Schönefeld train station (Nuthe-Urstromtal) with Swabian-Baden cuisine and currently, in addition to the main menu, an excellent chanterelle menu. Very nice restaurant. Authentic Swabian cuisine with homemade spaetzle. Everything is freshly prepared. The Maultaschen are also very good. The Rothaus beer is very tasty. The atmosphere in the old train station is something. The inside is also very cozy and lovingly furnished. The parasols are a small point of criticism. There are simply too few. If the large umbrellas were placed close together to create a continuous roof, it would be perfect even in summer. But that won't stop us from coming back. Always my pleasure. ❤️❤️❤️

Quaint, cozy location, if you've always wanted to spend a longer, nice time on the platform, this is the right place for you. Home-style German cuisine, very appetizing (schnitzel dishes are particularly recommended). Service is nice and friendly. We spent a lovely afternoon here.

It's unfortunate I didn't take a photo of what was put in front of us when we recently stopped off to have a meal at Zum Pirol. My wife and I have eaten several times here over the years and have always been very happy with our meals. The location is superb and quite usual. The service is usually excellent, as is/was the food. This time however, our first visit this year, we were presented with reheated potatoes and small thin meat covered in bread crumbs. Not the meal that appears in the photo of the above feedback from last year. We can only surmise that the owner was on her own and/or, in the attempt to economize, presented us with a poor, overpriced meal. Our complaint was met with a mystified response, as if we were being oversensitive. Our first visit to Zum Pirol this year will unfortunately be our last, I'm very sorry to say.

A small but fine restaurant on the railway line between Zossen and Jüterbog. The food is very good and the service is absolutely impeccable. Here you feel welcome as a guest and can enjoy time in a pleasant atmosphere. We would love to come back here.

It was our first time in this restaurant and we will definitely go there more often. Very tasty, hearty Baden cuisine. The price-performance ratio is really fair. The service is very nice and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy. Dogs are welcome.

Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience, it was quite full and we had to wait a total of over an hour for the food, which didn't live up to expectations for the price quoted.

Sowohl mit dem Auto als auch mit der Draisiene gut zu erreichen! ;-) Parkplätze sind für beides ausreichend vorhanden. Das Bahnhofs.-/Biergartenambiente lädt zum Verweilen ein. Für kulinarische Gaumenfreuden ist reichlich gesorgt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Im alten Bahnhof, wir sassen draussen, es gab selbstgemachte und hervorragende badische Küche. Das Schäufele war genauso toll wie die gerösteten Maultaschen. Wir kommen wieder!

Eine witzige und gelungene Location, haben wir nur durch Zufall entdeckt, hatten leider aufgrund Zeitdruck nur Kaffee und Kuchen, der aber selbstgebacken und mega lecker war. Dad Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und nehmen uns Zeit für eine warme Speise, die Karte klang sehr verlockend. Weiter so, wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen

Ein zur Gastronomie umgebauter alter Bahnhof mit Freisitz direkt auf dem ehemaligen Bahnsteig. Klasse gemacht. Essen war OK und die Bedienung aufmerksam und freundlich.

Sehr nette Stelle - im Bahnhof; zehn Meter von den Gleisen. Passt perfekt für Radtouren. Überschaubares Menü aber mit den notwendigsten Gerichten. Der kleine Schnitzel hat mir gefallen. Nettes Personal. Wir kommen wieder.

War überrascht, wie man aus einem ehemaligen Bahnhof ein Restaurant machen kann. Essen gut und preiswert. Immer gut besucht. Eine Reise hierher wert. Parkplätze reichlich und mit Fahrrad auch zu erreichen.

Leckeres Essen, auch vegetarisch, leckere Kuchen, freundliches Personal, tolles Gebäude in toller Lage. Also eigentlich perfekt. Einziges, aber leider bedeutendes Manko: es gibt keine wirklich dafür geeigneten Fahrradabstellmöglichkeiten. Die kleinen fiesen Speichenknacker taugen nicht dazu, den Rahmen daran festzuschließen. Das ist absolut nicht mehr zeitgemäß.

Schöne, kleine, urige Gaststätte mit schwäbisch-badischer Küche. Ordentliche Portionen zu einem absolut angemessenen Preis. Das Schnitzel war verdammt lecker und die Karte ist nicht so überladen wie in anderen Gaststätten. Eine überschaubare Auswahl, aber dafür machen sie das Essen dann auch richtig gut. Lieber 10 richtig tolle Speisen, als 100 halbherzige Teller, oder? Bedienung war freundlich, das Essen war schnell am Tisch...und bei gutem Wetter kann man entspannt an alten Bahnschienen sitzen, die man auch zum Draisinen-Fahren buchen kann. Die Gaststätte befindet sich im ehemaligen Bahnhof, der Endstation der Erlebnisbahn. Sehr empfehlenswert! 👌

Habe das Restaurant schon mehrfach besucht aber der Service ist leider schlechter geworden den für den Hund steht noch nicht mal ein Wassernapf zur verfügung und es wurde auch nicht nach gefragt! Im Garten keine Tischdecke bzw Sitzkissen vorhanden! Haben nur was getrunken! Leckeres Rothausbier und auch die Eispezialitäten wie immer super lecker!

Nettes Bahnhofsrestaurant mit guten Getränken und einer reich gefüllter Speisekarte . Das Essen war gut und reichhaltig. Reichlich Parkangebot für große und kleine Gefährte.

Wir waren am Sonntag zum ersten Mal dort essen und waren begeistert. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und super leckeres Essen. Der badische Rindfleischeintopf und die Maultaschen sind sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, spätestens wenn man draußen sitzen kann.

Lange ist's her... aber nachdem wir endlich den Namen wieder gefunden haben: von der wundervollen Gaststätte, die uns vor mittlerweile 1 1/2 Jahren mit unserem Zelt auf ihren Wiesen übernachten liesen; da konnten wir es uns nicht nehmen, eine Bewertung zu hinterlassen, um auch anderen Gästen für diesen wundervollen Platz die Augen zu öffnen! Nach einer anstrengenden Radl Tour auf unserer ersten Etappe auf dem Weg von Berlin nach Frankfurt (am Main!!) fuhren wir im Sonnenuntergang in das wundervolle, herzliche Dorf Schönefeld und machten auf gut Glück Halt an dem ehemaligen Bahnhof, an dem wir von den Inhabern liebevoll gegen ein kleines Abendessen bei Ihnen aufgenommen wurden. (auch super in unserem kleinen Podcast 'Farbenstrudel' festgehalten!) Es ist als wäre es gestern gewesen, dass wir im letzten Sonnenlicht zum nahegelegenen See fuhren und gemeinsam mit den anderen Gästen die damalige EM (?) draußen mit Blick auf die ehemaligen Schienen geschaut haben. Wir waren sehr dankbar über die warme Atmosphäre und die offene Art mit der wir unsere erste Nacht sicher verbringen durften! Große Empfehlung und bis bestimmt ganz bald! Liebe Grüße, Anna und Lotti

Ohne große Worte zu verlieren: Im Vorbeifahren am stillgelegten Bahnübergang einen alten Bahnhof mit Biergarten gesehen und direkt angehalten. Schnitzel bestellt und direkt den Koch bei der Arbeit gehört. Schön, dass es frisch zubereitet wird. Schöne Portion erhalten, die satt macht. Überraschend war das Lese-/Spielzimmer. Wir hatten Spaß & es war lecker. Kommen gerne wieder.
