Good food with great service. Would go back anytime. For my taste, the suvlaki could have been seasoned better. The meat was super tender. Also great were the baked zucchini and eggplant appetizers. The owner is very friendly, and they serve the obligatory ouzo upon arrival and departure. Great 😊

The food was incredibly delicious. We had a lovely outdoor seating area in the beer garden. And the ouzo on the house was the perfect way to finish. We were a large group, and everyone ordered from the menu, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal.

We've been going to this Greek restaurant for a while now, as we live just around the corner. The food is excellent. Very good service. We feel very comfortable. And today we went back for dinner with our daughter and grandchildren. The children are served just as well. An all-round perfect restaurant.

It was our first time there. We arrived without a reservation, but the owner welcomed us warmly. The food was excellent, and the draft beer was excellent. A glass of ouza is offered as a welcome. The portions are large enough to fill you up. The value for money is very good. We sat in the garden in the shade of a chestnut tree, and the sparrows kept us company. Only the numerous green flies spoiled the impression a little. But we'll definitely be back.

Our favorite Greek restaurant in Nuremberg. We've tried many, and so far, this one has made it to the top. The food is generally very good, there's still room for improvement, but overall, it's really very good. The beer garden is truly a dream under a chestnut tree. The only thing that's a bit disappointing is that you have to pay in cash.

Were visiting Nuremberg and had an appetite for Greek food. Through Google we came across this small but fine restaurant with Greek specialties and we were not disappointed. The starters were already delicious, so we couldn't finish the main courses, which were also very tasty and a lot. But we'll be happy to take them home with us ;-). The staff is also very nice and accommodating. We recommend it 100 percent. Thank you very much and kind regards from Thuringia...

I just bought a case of Lindenbräu. Then I was absolutely hungry to drink it from the tap again. No sooner said than done, we have just reserved a table for this evening. The meals are plentiful and very good. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They cater to every wish. Everything on the menu can also be taken with you. You should always reserve a table. There is also a nice beer garden. Unfortunately you always have to look for a parking space.

The Greek restaurant “Zur Stadtlohn” is our favorite Greek restaurant here in Nuremberg. 🙂 The staff is always very nice. The food is very tasty. Overall a rustic Greek and that's exactly what we love. Honest, simple but good quality and authentic. 😃 The highlight is the extremely tasty Lindenbräu beer, which goes perfectly with the meat-based dishes. Keep it up. 👍

To be honest, it's difficult for me to evaluate. The staff was super nice, friendly and honest. The portions, whether starter or main course, were unfortunately far too large. If we had eaten the starter trio (for one person) with just two of us, we would have been full. The main courses were also dauntingly huge. We were able to eat maybe half. Unfortunately, that is also the main problem with this restaurant. The portion size is really daunting. Yes, it's well-intentioned and clear, everything will be more expensive. I can only strongly advise making the portions smaller, then you might also sell appetizers or desserts. The atmosphere doesn't really suit a restaurant. We would still like to come back.

First I would like to say that we felt very comfortable. We didn't have that much time - so our drinks and food, including starters, were served quickly upon request, thank you for that. The portions are large and the prices are completely reasonable. The rice and vegetables were a bit lacking in seasoning, so we deducted a star. The staff was super friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Were there for lunch. Prices are higher than stated online. Normal portion and delicious salad. Food not particularly seasoned. The garden has a nice atmosphere, but inside there is more charm from years gone by. Nice service.

We came here for my birthday, and I left this place happily in the end! We sat on the terrace, and it was lovely. The food was delicious, and my personal favorite was the lamb leg with eggplants! As always, the food was delicious, but unfortunately there is a slight deduction in the B grade because there is almost never any parking and the prices are quite high. On average you pay around €22 for a main course and a drink With fish, starter and/or dessert you would then pay around €30-35 and that is clearly too expensive given the atmosphere!

I always enjoy being there. Good food in large portions that is served quickly. The staff and of course Kosta are always motivated and courteous. The beer garden is unbeatable anyway. Always worth a visit.

Nice service, we got the order very quickly, very good food and really large portions. I ordered a baked gyros in Metaxa with cheese, and I also got fries, bread and lettuce. The only drawbacks to my order were the bread could have been browned and the gyros in the sauce was sprinkled with grated cheese instead of a slice of cheese, it had no effect on the taste, just a visual issue. I recommend it 100%

Das Essen war hervorragend und die Portionen waren groß. So das meine Frau und ich, diese nicht geschafft haben. Der Service ist zuvorkommend und sehr schnell. Da das Restaurant nicht sehr groß ist, ist die Lautstärke nicht so hoch. Man kann sich normal Unterhalten ohne zu schreien. Die Speisekarte beinhaltet eine große Auswahl. So bald es wärmer wird, lädt ein Biergarten ein.

Best Greek in Nuremberg. Our absolute favorite pub for years. A pearl in the southern part of the city, especially in summer with the beer garden.

Wir waren an meinem Geburtstag dort und eine etwas größere Gruppe mit Kinder. Ich hatte telefonisch reserviert und am Telefon waren sie schon sehr nett. Als wir ankamen standen auch direkt die Kinderstühle bereit. Die Kinder haben Kinder-Ouzo (Apfelschorle) bekommen und auch sonst waren alle sehr, sehr lieb zu den Kindern, obwohl sie ab und an im Weg standen :) Der Service war sehr nett und es ging alles schnell. Die Portionen waren groooooooß :) das nächste Mal muss ich weniger bestellen! Aber es hat allen geschmeckt. Danke für den schönen Abend!

The food is ok but way too expensive for this ambience. From the inside, the restaurant doesn't look like a Greek restaurant but rather like a drinking hall from the 70s. But the host is super friendly.

One of the best restaurant experiences I've had in Nuremberg so far. Food is ok and tastes good, comparable to other Greeks. However, the hospitality, speed and feel-good factor are hard to beat!

I was here for lunch with colleagues as part of a training event. The portions are OK and appropriate for the price. There is a lunch menu with cheaper prices. The service is quick and attentive. I can only make one recommendation.

The first impression was, oh, I'm in a restaurant in my village around 1980. But the ambience has charm again. The innkeeper was so friendly. And the food was also very good. Price performance friendliness cannot be beat. If you don't like frills, this is the place for you! And when we are in Nuremberg we will definitely come back.

Επισκέφθηκα το κατάστημα βάση των καλών κριτικών που είχε και επειδή ήταν ελληνικό. Για αρχή να ενημερώσω ότι θα πρέπει να υπάρχει κράτηση ειδικά Σάββατο. Κατά δεύτερον δυστυχώς δεν ενημερωθηκαμε ότι θα έπρεπε να διαθέτουμε μετρητά και όχι κάρτα μια που το κατάστημα δεν διαθέτει pos. Το φαγητό αρκετά βαρύ για τα δεδομένα μου. Επισης όλα τα ποτά σερβίρονται σε ποτήρι.

A true Greek experience in a small part of Neurnberg. Please be polite and reserve your spot ahead of time. Get the platter for two or more with fries and be prepared for "Oujo?" Not sure about the spelling. It is a common alcoholic drink before you eat Greek food.

Sehr leckeres Essen und große Portionen trotz Mittagskarte. Auch der Service war freundlich, da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Allerdings kann man nur bar bezahlen, das ist einfach nicht zeitgemäß.

Köstliches griechisches Essen mit leckerem kostenlosen Ouzo. Ein sehr gut besuchtes familien Restaurant, eine telefonische Reservierung wird empfohlen und Barzahlung. Das Essen ist von guter Qualität und wird von sehr freundlichen Personal serviert. Ich komme seit über 25 Jahren hierher und wurde noch nie vom Essen oder der Atmosphäre enttäuscht, die immer gemütlich und gut ist.

Preis Leistung sehr angemessen. Das war war lecker und der Service freundlich und schnell.

I wouldn't say the experience with this particular restaurant was the best.. We found it via Google and chose it because it's a Greek restaurant, we didn't know it wanted a reservation, the person in charge at first seemed resentful of it though and when he saw that we were Greeks he pushed us to a table. Our orders came relatively quickly, the portions were large, but nothing special, average I would say.. In the end we asked to pay by card and they told us that it is not possible because they did not have a POS. I personally find it unacceptable that a restaurant does not have a POS in the year 2023. They told me that they had it written at the entrance but only in German, and unfortunately I don't know German. So I had to go to an unrelated ATM from my own bank to withdraw cash to pay. Every shop I visited in Nuremberg all had POS. On their part, the excuses were unacceptable because they did not have a POS. I do not recommend this particular restaurant if you want to eat well.
