Restaurant Saloniki in Nürnberg

We really like Greek food and wanted to try this restaurant so we could come back more often. Unfortunately it wasn't the case that we would like to come back. I had the farmer's plate myself and left one of the two steaks because they were hard. Unfortunately the gyro was boring because it was poorly seasoned and dry. I also communicated the defect, but it wasn't of interest. There wasn't even a "sorry." It just didn't matter because you got the full price. Luckily there are other “Greeks” too. Unfortunately, card payment wasn't possible either and you had to find an ATM first.

Are here regularly. Perfect if you are looking for a Greek restaurant with a large selection and friendly service. The food itself absolutely impressed us every time. Especially recommended if you like seafood: Zarzuela!

My Greek almost on the doorstep! Reservations are not absolutely necessary, but things can sometimes go wrong! So always call ahead. The food is delicious, the service is good and the toilets are clean.

We visited Thessaloniki today due to the good reviews and local proximity. We were excited to see whether the Greek would live up to his reviews. We spontaneously made a reservation for 7 p.m. late on Saturday afternoon, which was also made possible for us. When we arrived there, a very nice Greek interior and a full, cozy restaurant awaited us. The boss was very friendly and ambitious and what impressed us was that he moved quickly so that no guest had to wait too long! And indeed, all tables were always stocked with food or drinks and all guests seemed satisfied. When we first took a look at the menu, we were struck by the wide variety of Greek dishes at very affordable prices! So we made the most of it and didn't miss anything (see photos). The food isn't particularly good. The squid rings are bubblegum-like, the welcome ouzo is only half full. Conditions good, music too. Plates tastelessly prepared.

Enjoy your meal. Service ok. Prices are average. Outdoor seating on the street in the 30 zone. Guest room (inside) could use air conditioning for the summer.

Delicious food, nice food, moderate prices

Whether you stop in to eat or order to be picked up, it always goes quickly and you are treated nicely. Even if there is a lot going on at the moment and you can see the stress of those working there, there is a sincere smile towards the customers, and a short chat is also possible. You will also receive good advice if you are undecided or the dishes will be explained (in the case of daily specials that you may not know). The food is good and the quantity is plenty. Once something got mixed up when we ordered over the phone, but that was sorted out when we picked it up and quickly fixed.

The Saloniki "at the Residents' Registration Office" has been a permanent institution for 28 years now. When I scraped together my last bucks for a meal there at the age of 18, I was treated just as well as I am now. You notice consistency in your actions in many areas and even if the "green walls" (= money plants) between the tables had to give way during Corona - we still feel very comfortable with you :-D The pita is almost nowhere to be found here and I already have a few pitas on the clock. Even in the most stressful situations, you get a smile and the feeling that you are being cared for. The food has ALWAYS been great over the years, without exception. That's why our young people are now enthusiastic fans of the restaurant and we can only hope that we will be enthusiastic about the current troupe, which has been active for decades, for many years to come. This place doesn't need advertising, it's just good :-)

Individual niches, small beer garden. The host is hard-working and attentive. Food is typical but not exceptional. Not original souvlaki. Starters are ok. Tzatziki could do with a little more garlic, it is very mild. Consistency good, chipiti good, pleasant spiciness. Metaxa sauce could have been a little more seasoned. Price-performance fits.

We were there yesterday, in a nice group of 7 people. All meals were served at approximately the same time and everyone was completely satisfied. Beautifully prepared and tasty. The side dishes of rice and tzatziki could have been a little more, the side salad was good. The waitress often asked if everything was okay and of course there was free ouzo. All in all a successful evening.

I've been to this Greek restaurant several times and have always eaten well. Last Tuesday I just wanted tzatziki and a beer. Absolutely no problems, very nice service. Great taste!

We spontaneously decided on this restaurant and were actually able to reserve a table for four people. Well looked after by the very friendly and courteous staff, we were also very satisfied with the dishes we ordered. We would love to come back here.

A nice little restaurant just outside the city area. The food tasted delicious and was beautifully presented. Only the tzatziki could have contained a touch more garlic (it's a matter of taste, of course). The service was always friendly and there were no long waiting times. The dining room is also immersed in a beautiful, Greek ambience. Despite the location, the restaurant was busy. I would assign the prices to the normal average.

Früher gerne da gewesen, jetzt werden die Portionen SEHR klein (wie bei anderen Griechen die Kinderportion) und es ist sehr teuer geworden. Schade! Waren immer sehr gern hier! Mitarbeiter alle sehr freundlich 👍

Ich hatte zur Vorspeise Käsebällchen, diese waren sehr gut. Meine Hauptspeise war Kalamari und Gyros: die Kalamari waren leider nicht so lecker, etwas gummiartig... Gyros war schön weich und lecker. Die Portionsgröße empfand ich allerdings als etwas zu klein für den Preis. Das Restaurant hat ein schönes Ambiente und eine gepflegte Einrichtung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich zu uns. Preis-Leistung war insgesamt okay.

Das Personal ist wie das Essen überragend, dass Lokal ist zudem gut gelegen. Die Gerichte haben eine gute Größe und es besteht viel Vielfalt in den Gerichten und es ist für alle Geschmäcke etwas dabei

Speisen sehr übersichtlich und zu teuer . Das essen ist zwar gut aber zu klein für normale Portionen.

Bestellt waren: Saganaki, gemischter Salat und Galaktoburiko als Nachspeise. Der Salat war nicht frisch und ohne Tomaten, Gurken u. Zwiebel. Liebloser Teller mit nur Saganaki drauf. Die Nachspeise aus Blätterteig war in der Mikrowelle aufgewärmt und kaum essbar und wie Gummi!! Hälfte zurück gegeben. Cappuccino war das einzige was sehr gut war. Die Einrichtung ist gepflegt und stilvoll Gehe sehr gern bei verschiedenen griechischen Restaurants essen. Wohne sogar im nächstem Dörfchen und hätte Stammgast werden können. Für die 25€ hätte man bei einem anderen Griechen eine viel bessere Qualität aufgetischt bekommen. Die Homepage ist zwar professionell aufgebaut, was Vorort aber sich (für mich) nicht bewiesen hat. Bin eigentlich kein Nörgler😇

Restaurant im griechischen, etwas kitschigen Design mit aufmerksamen Service. Vorspeise Dolmades könnte etwas Pep vertragen, Athenplatte mit Gyros und Souvlaki waren lecker. Insgesamt ein solider Grieche in Katzwang.

20 Minuten für 3 Gerichte ist sportlich gut. Die Platten Gyros Kalamari und gebraten Zuchini waren ganz OK. Nett angerichtet aber wenig gewürzt und der Fisch nicht getroffen. Service TOP und Preis angemessen aber das Essen konnte uns heute nicht überzeugen. Wir kommen wieder, wenn normales Lokalleben wieder möglich ist.
