Went there for the first time in ages on Sunday. I remembered the old Acropolis. The food was absolutely delicious! I can't remember the last time we ate such tender squid. It was simply heavenly. Even the appetizer, which we unfortunately chose incorrectly, was a pleasant surprise and tasted wonderful.

Very clean and nice hotel room. Everything was great. No reception desk, but a terminal for collecting the room key at the restaurant entrance.

We were there for dinner. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were immediately offered a free table. The service was very friendly and attentive. The menu offers everything you'd expect from a Greek restaurant. The food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Since we were there right at opening time, we were able to have a good conversation. As time passed, the room filled up and the noise level increased considerably. All in all, it was a very pleasant evening with a very pleasant atmosphere.

The service is a disaster... the food is great!!! We wanted to order an appetizer later, but the waitress said no, sorry, you've already ordered the main course, which will be here soon anyway! We insisted, but then they said I already told you it wasn't possible. It was gone. What? That's completely unacceptable. I wonder if the owner is happy about his lower sales because of the service?? It's a shame, you really don't feel comfortable... even though the food is great! But with such unfriendly service, unfortunately, you only get one point!

I would like to thank the team very much, they were very friendly. The location is very easy to reach, about 5 minutes from the subway. The modern rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant is also modern, bright, and a place to feel at home. Breakfast is very good and plentiful. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend it.

I'm very disappointed with the service. Despite repeated requests, the dishes weren't cleared away. The warming containers didn't work, and the food got cold after an hour.

Very unfriendly service. I waited 20 minutes to order another drink, even though it wasn't very busy. Several people's orders were brought incorrectly and then they claimed they had ordered it that way. The large platter for €22.50 is a joke. The plate wasn't any bigger than any of the others and there was just a bit more meat on it. One of the pieces of meat was so tough and dry that when I removed it from the skewer I almost shot it into my neighbor's lap. When I went to the bathroom I felt like I was in a darkroom because all the lights had been turned off. To make matters worse, it was incredibly expensive. My partner and I paid almost €45 together, even though she only had a Caesar salad and a water.

Unfriendly young waitresses who either roll their eyes or become downright rude when you point out a mistake. Despite plenty of witnesses, they insisted that something like water or wine spritzer had been ordered, but in a different amount. The decor is very nice, the food is acceptable, but not worth the price. So, it's more show than substance and generally not recommended!

I was there with part of my choir for the choir festival, so we were busy during the day. The rooms seemed clean, but two of us had ticks after the first night. Coincidence? Dog hair was found in the room, though. My bathroom had been renovated, but smelled of sewers. We weren't served breakfast, but apparently we were. The entrance to the room was in the pitch-dark backyard. The door wasn't shown to us, and it wasn't lit either; we had entered the hotel during the day through the restaurant. "Don't you have a cell phone flashlight?" was the succinct question when we called. €357 for three nights. Of course, you can't expect a luxury hotel for that, but you can certainly expect a bit more customer service.

Service is provided by a check-in/out machine. The glass door to the room is opaque, so unfortunately it's bright from sunrise onwards... no blackout option.

A clean room and friendly staff. Good value for money. I can recommend the Hotel Akropolis.

Fair price. Unfortunately, there's no contact person on site (which makes for a very impersonal and cold atmosphere), only a contact number deep within the booking portal. The concept could work well if an information brochure were placed in the room!

Been going here for many years. The restaurant is very modern and of high quality, there is also a terrace, and the staff have always been extremely attentive and friendly. The food is really top. In terms of price I would say normal for a Greek.

I chose the hotel because I had work to do at the trade fair in Nuremberg. What can I say: Very good service in advance, the rooms are modern and clean. The location is quiet, which I also find very pleasant. On the second day I ate in the restaurant downstairs. There is also a very cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and the food is excellent. Very tasty gyros and a large portion too. I can fully recommend both the hotel and the restaurant!

The food tastes really good... In my opinion the price is relatively high compared to other restaurants... Especially when you save money on the cheapest... i.e. the ones Fries could be a little more. The service at celebrations in larger groups could also be quicker with empty plates and glasses being cleared away. That's why only 4 stars

Been there twice, for business. When I'm from Holland near Nuremberg I'm always here. Good rooms, good and friendly staff and very good food. Unfortunately there was no breakfast this time, but there was a bakery nearby.

I have to admit that I wasn't the most exemplary guest during my stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that the reception was open until 10 p.m. and didn't get in touch. To my relief, I was still checked in very friendly. A really nice hotel with everything you need. Thank you again!

As always, the food was very good. Service was a bit strange this time. About 30 minutes after the main course we were asked for the bill. We were actually looking forward to dessert. Happy Valentine.

The three of us were there for dinner today (January 16, 2025) and the food here was of poor quality. Liver was burnt and the rosemary potatoes were very oily and soggy. After polite feedback to the waitress, we were offered an ouzo, which we initially rejected, so there was no real compensation. In terms of price, even beyond inexpensive, the kitchen can't keep up. Ambiance isn't everything! It has to be mentioned that everything was charged full price. We all make mistakes, but dealing with them in a customer-oriented manner is different. Were regular customers for many years, but other cities also have great Greeks.

We celebrated our daughter's baptism at the Akropolis Restaurant and it was simply amazing! We felt we were well taken care of right from the planning stage, and the day itself was perfect. The food – both the starters and the main courses – was excellent and delighted our guests. Every course was fresh, delicious and of the highest quality. Of particular note was the wonderful staff, who were not only professional but also incredibly welcoming. They gave us and our guests an unforgettable day and took care of everything with great attention to detail. You can tell that people work here with passion and who really want to pamper their guests. We can only warmly recommend the Akropolis Restaurant – it was an all-round successful celebration. Many thanks to the entire team!

We were there for Christmas dinner with the company and it was very tasty and fresh.

The food was to die for! We were particularly impressed by the tzatziki (very fresh) and the souvlaki (very tender). The service was super friendly and attentive. I also really liked the modern furnishings. The location is great… only 5-7 minutes walk from the subway Absolutely recommended!

The best hotel close to Nuremberg. The rooms are amazing! New,very comfortable and very very clean.There is a great restaurant and bar in the hotel where hou can enjoy the local kitchen. The hotel is located near the center of Nuremberg and there is a metro station 5 minutes away by foot that takes you to the center of the city and directly to the airport. I definitely recommend this place!!

I liked it a lot! New room, great shower. Cozy breakfast booked at the last moment. There were 7 of us and we left the cars at the hotel and took the subway to the center!

We stayed in room #6 on 12/7/24. When checking in I was confronted with the statement that breakfast was not offered. The previous booking confirmation was based on a system error…The room is noisy. The impatient cleaner entered the room at 10 a.m. even though my wife was still in the room... Poor professionalism!

Overnight stay for one night on Saturday, December 7th, 2024 in room no. 4; very noisy; Woken up at 8 a.m. by an impatient cleaner knocking on the door; only informed when checking in that the booked breakfast was canceled (!?); no alternative offered.

Very nice, modern restaurant! Beautiful design and furniture with a great feel-good atmosphere. The Greek dishes are very tasty and the portions are large. The service is also very good here, we were looked after very attentively. I can't rate the hotel/room because we only ate in the restaurant. There is a party cellar that can be booked for celebrations. I can recommend it without hesitation!

The accommodation was very clean for 2 days, but the bathroom space design was not very good. Drinking water and paper towels were not provided in the room, which was a pity. Breakfast was great

Wir kommen seit bestimmt 10 Jahren zum griechisch essen hierher. Mal zum mitnehmen, mal vor Ort. Teuer war Akropolis schon immer, aber es hat uns geschmeckt und ab und zu ist das schon drin gewesen … . Leider wurden jetzt auch noch die Speisen verändert. „unser“ Leibgericht gibt es nicht mehr: Gebackene Calamari’s. Eigentlich der Klassiker wenn man an griechisches Essen denkt, oder? Der Ersatz ist nun Baby Calamari’s, die in Optik als auch Geschmack deutlich abweichen. Sehr viel Knoblauch und viel zu ölig. Geht für uns leider gar nicht. Gericht war für die Tonne. Akropolis bitte: Das Kann man ja zusätzlich anbieten aber nicht ersetzen!! Damit suchen wir uns nun einen anderen Griechen. Wir kommen nicht mehr. Sehr schade!!!

The food and service are great, unfortunately the three men's toilets didn't look good and were a bit disgusting. The toilets say a lot about a restaurant, if there are a lot of guests you should check the toilets from time to time and just wipe them down.

Well-equipped and modern rooms, some barrier-free. Very friendly service and good breakfast (table buffet). The restaurant is also recommended.

We were there on a Saturday evening, which you should definitely avoid because the waiting times for the food are enormous and the noise level of the very full restaurant is huge. The food was very, very tasty and plentiful, which is why we would like to come back on another day of the week.

Delicious Greek restaurant with large portions, but there is a small menu with small portions at fair prices. Otherwise the dishes are expensive, gyros with fries for 17.50 euros, if you want a skewer with it, it costs more than 20 euros. You can sit nicely on the terrace. The service is courteous and prompt. Toilets are in the basement and very clean. The restaurant is not barrier-free.

Röthenbach is the hottest area anyway, but the restaurant is also very good and I recommend everyone to go there.

We were there three weeks ago. Have always been satisfied so far. This time, however, we were disappointed. The waitress was hardly visible and when she was, she was very unfriendly. Entweder wir nehmen den Tisch außen oder wir können gehen… Nun das war schon das 3.mal das wir Reservieren hatten und entweder bei der Küche einen Platz bekommen haben was echt nicht für uns ok ist. Oder an der Eingang Türe find ich auch nicht so ansprechend. Eigentlich ist es egal ob Reservierung oder nicht. Hello everyone! We celebrated our birthday here. Everything went great from start to finish. The owner and staff were really nice, they clarified everything for us. The service was also good. The food was super tasty. The portions were big, the price was ok too. . keep it up!!!

Das Essen war lecker, aber nichts besonderes. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Leider war der Service nur beim ersten Getränk auf Zack. Danach wurden wir sowie der Nebentisch einfach vergessen. Auf Nachfrage kam dann jemand nach 45 Minuten. So etwas geht gar nicht.

We compared the prices in January 24 with a menu from 2023. Some dishes have risen extremely in price and I'm not talking about a bar euro cent, some of them 5 euros! We've often eaten at the Acropolis in the past and often brought food home for us. The food was always very, very good! Living just around the corner WAS always very convenient!

Wir hatten zum Abendessen gegrillten Octopus und Gyros in Metaxa Soße bestellt. Leider war der Octopus nur auf der Oberseite gegrillt. Die Unterseite hat den Grill offenbar nur gesehen. Das Gyros beinhaltete neben einer Menge an Champignons aus der Dose und reichlich Öl nur eine geringe Menge Metaxa. Die Portionsgrößen waren in Ordnung. Die Qualität der Speisen wie oben beschrieben enttäuschend. Für uns war das der erste und gleichzeitig auch der letzte Besuch. Wer gut griechisch essen möchte, sollte dann doch ein anderes Restaurant aufsuchen.

Bislang sind auch wir sehr gerne in dieses Restaurant gegangen - Gegen das Essen gibt es nichts einzuwenden, das Essen war lecker und die Portionen reichlich. Allerdings waren wir gestern sehr enttäuscht und teilweise auch wirklich entsetzt vom Verhalten des Servicepersonals - bereits beim Betreten des Restaurants wurden wir nicht gerade freundlich begrüßt. Dazu muss ich anmerken, dass ich nicht erwarte, dass einem die Füße geküsst werden oder ähnliches, allerdings bin ich der Meinung, dass man eine gewisse Grundfreundlichkeit voraussetzen kann! Wir wurden in unmittelbarer Nähe des Tresens platziert, wo uns unsere drei Speisekarten einmal quer über den Tisch entgegen geschmissen wurden! Da wir sehr nah am Tresen saßen, haben wir ganz genau mitbekommen was dort so abgeht - die Dame, welche für die Getränke zuständig ist, war in einer Tour und sehr lautstark am fluchen und schimpfen. Das trägt nicht unbedingt zu einem schönen Abend bei, an dem man in einer schönen Atmosphäre sein Essen genießen möchte. Die Spitze des Eisberges war das allerdings noch nicht - wir bestellten nach langem Warten, denn Aufmerksamkeit wird hier auch nicht besonders groß geschrieben, unseren Nachtisch - nämlich zwei Portionen Eis, welches auf der Karte angeboten wird! Daraufhin beschwerte und schimpfte die eh schon sehr genervte Dame hinter dem Tresen „Wir sind hier doch keine Eisdiele!“ Sehr seltsames Verhalten, zumal die Chefin ebenfalls hinter dem Tresen stand und das Verhalten und die Aussagen mitbekommen haben muss. So kann man den Gästen natürlich auch die Freude und Lust an einem erneuten Besuch nehmen.

Das Restaurant überzeugt auf ganzer Linie mit vorzüglichem Essen, einer beeindruckenden Auswahl auf der Speisekarte, und einem herausragenden Service. Das angenehme Ambiente und die Atmosphäre schaffen eine einladende Umgebung, die den Genuss der griechischen Küche noch intensiviert. Die Gastfreundschaft des Personals trägt dazu bei, dass sich jeder Gast herzlich willkommen fühlt. Zweifellos werden wir aufgrund dieser rundum positiven Erfahrung gerne wieder im Akropolis dinieren.

Schönes griechisches Restaurant und Hotel. Die Portionen sind sehr groß. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, nett, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Rundherum gibt es genügend Parkplätze. Die U-Bahn Station "Röthenbach" ist etwa 600 Meter entfernt.

Für mich der beste Grieche in Nürnberg. Endlich wieder gutes Gyros und richtig schön gebratenes Fleisch. Kein Gaugummi oder Bauchweh wie bei so vielen anderen mittlerweile. Ich finde den Preis angemessen und vom Preis Leistungsverhältnis top Zum Hotel kann ich nichts sagen

Das Essen ist sehr fettig. Viel teurer als in anderen griechischen Restaurants. Es war das erste und letzte Mal für mich.

Wir waren im Restaurant essen. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön und ich kenne spontan keinen anderen Griechen in dem preis Segment mit einem so tollen Ambiente. Das Essen ist auch lecker aber jetzt nicht herausragend oder viel besser als bei anderen Griechen. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich aber leider nachdem der Hauptgang serviert wurde wie vom Erdboden verschluckt was nicht so angenehm ist um Getränke, Nachspeise, etc. nach zu bestellen. Außerdem wurde an dem Abend 3 mal eine speiße vergessen, obwohl der Laden nicht überfüllt war, was auch nicht sehr professionell wirkt. Alles in allem ein gutes Restaurant, dem man durchaus eine zweite Chance geben kann.

Der Grieche meines Vertrauens, dort gehe ich seit mehr als 30 Jahren hin und bin immer wieder von der guten Qualität des Essens überzeugt!

Betrifft nur das Restaurant. Essen und Service wie immer sehr gut. Allerdings recht hohe Preise. Mit Abstand der teuerste Grieche in der Gegend.

Waren nur im Restaurant. Zu den Zimmern kann ich nichts sagen. Das Essen war super.

Das Essen an sich gut, aber die Portionen sind wieder sehr klein geworden! Ich habe das Gefühl, dass der Inhaber die Kunden immer wieder testet, wie weit er gehen kann! Zum Bespiel die Bifteki und 5 Kartoffeln in der Erbsengröße für knappe 20€ lassen einen nicht satt werden!

Wirklich schönes Ambiente auf der Terrasse an einem lauen Abend. Abends fahren wenig Autos vorbei. Das Essen war sehr lecker ( Kalbsleber und Calamari), die Bedienung sehr freundlich und wir durften uns den Tisch aussuchen. Wir waren im Restaurant und können deswegen keine Zimmer bewerten.

Heute bewerte ich mal das Restaurant aufgrund meines heutigen Besuch nach längerer Zeit. Meine Bewertung ist rein auf den Besuch zu verstehen und nicht als Allgemein da dieses Restaurant doch einen sehr guten Ruf hat. Wer meine Bewertungen kennt ,weiss dass ich mehrer Restaurants besuche und teste und dies bezieht sich immer nur auf den Tag. Essen war soweit ganz ok aber mir hat das "besondere etwas" gefehlt dass ich gewohnt war. Die Gerichte für eine größere Gruppe war schnell serviert und Getränke wurde Zeitnah gebracht. Getränke waren nicht richtig gekühlt was ich mir gerne gewünscht bzw. erwarten muss, vorallem bei Bier. Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich auch die Damen die die leider nicht deutsch sprachen und waren bemüht alles zur unserer Zufriedenheit beizutragen. Unsere Gerichte wurde sehr schön angerichtet und geschmacklich war es soweit sehr gut. Portionsgrößen sind ausreichend. Was leider sehr negativ auffiel ist , dass der Tsaziki überhaupt nicht danach schmeckte sondern nur nach Jogurt mit leichter Gurkennote. Es hat einfach alles gefehlt: Salz, Pfeffer, Knoblauch. Das fanden ich persönlich sehr schade, denn so einen schlechten Tsaziki hatte ich bisher noch nie, und frage mich wies er hier so serviert wird. Wie bereits gesagt, ich habe hier schon des öfteren gegessen, und kenne die Qualität der Küche,welche einen sehr sehr guten Ruf hat. Ab der zweiten Getränke Bestellung gingen die Fehler los: -Ein bestellter Wein wurde erst nach mehrmaligen ansprechen gebracht -Anstelle der weiteren Getränke brachte Mann und die Rechnung weil die Bedienung und nicht verstanden hatte -Nachspeisse wurde unvollständig gebracht, eine davon sogar kalt obwohl diese warm serviert wird. -Espresso wurde zu kalt serviert Mein Fazit: Ambiente wunderschön, Personal sehr gepflegt und immer freundlich. Ambiente sehr schön, Preise gehoben und Essen eher Standard. Nichts besonderes auch nicht von den Portionen, das können einige umliegende Restaurants besser. Wer wie bei einem klassischen Griechen hier auf einen Ouzo wartet wird ebenfalls enttäuscht.

Sehr gute Griechische Küche. Gemütliches Lokal. Gutes Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis. Freundliches Personal. Hotel kann ich nicht bewerten, war nur zum Essen dort.
