Top-notch place. We reserved a table late in the evening with over 15 people. It was no problem at all. Thanks again to the entire team. It was delicious. Unfortunately, we're from northern Germany and don't come here very often. But when we're in Nuremberg, we'll be happy to come back :)

The Greek restaurant Epidavros in Nuremberg is highly recommended. We visited there for the second time, having already been impressed by our first visit. This time we were there with a family friend – even a larger group is no problem, as there is plenty of space and suitable rooms. The large beer garden and spacious interior make the restaurant particularly inviting. The staff is numerous, friendly, and very attentive. The portions are large and delicious – from the starters to the main courses and desserts, everything was top-notch. Guests with dogs are also welcome, which worked out smoothly. The prices are more than fair for the quality offered. Highly recommended – although reservations are advisable.

Let me put it this way: When I go out to eat, I expect value for money. I've had quite a few experiences at Epidavros during my visits. The service and ambiance are certainly appealing. The service is very well organized. The food isn't bad, and the quality of the produce (meat and fish) is okay. Unfortunately, the salad was overcooked, and it lacked a dressing that would suit the Greek taste. Bottom line: You have to try it for yourself; perhaps the kitchen was having a bad day. Since it wasn't too salty, the chef wasn't in love either.

The beer garden is truly a dream, beautiful, and a great place to sit. The staff is also incredibly friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food was a real disappointment. We used to be regulars here a few years ago, so I can say the food was much better back then. The side salad was barely fresh, the lettuce leaves were already dark and soggy. The tomato rice was dry, and the bifteki had more feta cheese in it. The tzatziki that evening was also pretty much the worst I've had in a long time. It's a real shame, I remembered it being much better.

The staff was also super friendly, attentive, and welcoming – we simply felt at home. The value for money is absolutely perfect! We go to Greek restaurants regularly, but this restaurant really surprised and impressed us today. Definitely not our last visit – a definite recommendation!

I was there for the first time today, and I have to say, I was a little disappointed. At first, we waited forever for the conditions, even though everyone kept walking past us. Drinks came quickly. I ordered souvlaki, and there wasn't a single dollop of tzatziki. I've never experienced that before, really. So I ordered an extra portion of tzatziki, which was too much 🤷‍♀️ The meat was relatively dry and tasteless, as was the tzatziki. Of the side salad, the coleslaw was tasty. The rest was also very bland. So, I didn't particularly enjoy it; I've had much better Greek food. The prices aren't exactly cheap, either. What's really nice is the garden. Beautiful ambiance, shady, very pleasant to sit in. But I won't be going there for dinner again; overall, the price-performance ratio is too poor.

Very good service, fast and courteous. Very friendly staff. The food was something different from what I'm used to at a standard Greek restaurant. Not bad, just unfortunate if you have different expectations. In the end, everyone enjoyed it. We'd be happy to go back!

The first and last time we were here... Reservations for 6:30 p.m. Yes, we were a little late! and moved right at the beginning. But if by 8:00 p.m.!!!! all the main course dishes aren't on the table, then something is wrong with the organization. And to make matters worse, there isn't even an apology. The food is mediocre, average, nothing special, but not fundamentally bad either. There's still a lot of room for improvement, but we won't see that, because they've already lost us as guests today.

Light and shade.... The service and the food were excellent as always, nothing to complain about. However, the pricing policy is! A main course without tzatziki is only available here for an additional charge. And if you want tzatziki instead of the salad, it costs an additional €2.50 – but the portion is ridiculously small (see picture)... And FINALLY renovate your toilets!!!! They don't match the rest of the menu at all!

It was my first time here and I was immediately impressed. We had a seat in the large beer garden, which is very nice. There is a playground for the children. Service was absolutely brilliant, very friendly and accommodating. I noticed that with larger groups of 5-6 people, the ordered food is all served at the same time, no one in the group had to wait for their food, generally you don't have to wait long for your food. The food is very, very tasty, with large portions and a wide selection of dishes and drinks; there is something for everyone. I recommend making a reservation as the Epidavros restaurant is busy, both in the restaurant and in the beer garden. We will be eating there more often or always now. I am already looking forward to the next time. Despite the children's playground and the noise of a beer garden, I found it pleasantly quiet and relaxing.

The dishes seem unloving and are served without any side dishes. Both the calamari and the meat were tough. You also have to pay extra for the tzatziki. The plates are completely plain, lacking any decoration or attention to detail. It seems as if the restaurant doesn't have to make any more effort because its regular customers don't have high expectations. The prices for drinks are noticeably high, especially for 0.33-liter soft drinks, which taste like they've been poured from large plastic bottles. It's incomprehensible why Pepsi Zero costs €5 while regular Pepsi is offered for €4. Overall, I find the value for money very poor. The positive Google reviews seem unrealistic to me. Perhaps the owner has changed, or the operators' attitude towards price, quality, and customer satisfaction has deteriorated significantly.

Had dinner in this great restaurant today. We enjoyed it very much and the service was also really great and friendly. I only have one point that could be improved. That would be to put a little zakziki on the plate. We ordered it specially. But I think it's complaining at a high level. We will definitely recommend this restaurant and will come back soon. A nice Greek restaurant with a large selection of food. Everything was well prepared and tasty. The children got their food earlier, which was very good. Otherwise it took a while for the food to arrive, but the restaurant was very busy. All in all a lovely Greek evening.

We've been there three times, but in the outdoor area/pavilion. Weddings, baptisms and birthdays... and everything was in perfect order every time... there were enough parking spaces in front of the restaurant and there is a play area in the garden for the little ones... Hope to come back soon!!

Even though we had reserved the table, we were seated somewhere else. We ordered calamari and got scampi. The "substitute food" was burnt and tasted accordingly. The fact that the drinks didn't work out either... Well, it's a shame, but not all fairy tales end happily...

The taste of the food was okay, although the final enthusiasm was a bit lacking. The side salad was pretty tasteless. The amount of what e.g. For example, what was on the plate with gyros/calamari is also "okay", but no longer. Three pieces of calamari and a manageable portion of gyros are enough to fill you up, but it's not enough to make you leave the restaurant with enthusiasm. That would still be ok, but if you look at the prices in relation to other Greek restaurants, things get a little bleaker. For example, gyros in Metaxa sauce for almost €19.00 is already upper class in terms of price. And there is neither rice nor fries. Or the aforementioned gyros calamari... I've never met a Greek who doesn't at least add a dollop of tzatziki on top. If you want to eat their classic formation of gyros and similar plates here, you have to order tzatziki separately and then you are treated to a very simple gyros/calamari for around €23.00. That's a disgrace. I have accepted all the price increases required by the catering industry over the last few years, but here you feel a bit ripped off.

Meat fried just right, tzatziki fresh. Since we were a group, we were also offered additional bread. Service was super quick, food came super quickly too. The atmosphere outside is really beautiful. Service totally disorganized (didn't know which food belonged to which table) For main courses there isn't even a "dot" of tzatziki. Ordered 4x tzatziki starter and received a basket (with 4 slices) of bread. Plate for 2 people is a joke. There weren't even any extra plates to share the food with. “Placing an order” took 30 minutes until someone came. Drink order. If there was exactly once at the beginning, then no one ever came again.

It was always delicious, but also expensive. But now the portions are getting smaller. The service is now a disaster. Regular guests for 20 years - that was once. No longer recommended.

The counter is very very full of old glasses. The organization of the service staff urgently needs improvement. Unfortunately, our guests' farewell dinner was a bit mixed.

Went for lunch with four adults and a 21/2 year old girl. Thanks to the nice weather, we were able to sit in the large, well-kept garden. There are enough high chairs for younger guests. The service is first class. Attentive and familiar. The dishes we ordered came at the same time. There was even children's cutlery for our grandchild. There was an ouzo for the adults and a 🍭 for the little ones. The food was very tasty. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos. The grandchild was more important. We'd love to come back.

We found the restaurant through good reviews and went there. You also had to bring a lot of time. It was very crowded. I thought it was good that there was a lot for children, such as a playground. Slow deterioration in quality - we guests notice it! The previously excellent quality of the food has deteriorated significantly for around a year. For the tzatziki, low-fat quark is used instead of fat, instead of the thin fries there are such wide things that are never crispy, but always mushy and tried and tested recipes are "changed". According to the menu there was supposed to be coleslaw or green leaf salad, as it was for years, now there is a mixed plate of both salads, whether that goes with the main course or not suddenly doesn't seem to matter. Why is the coleslaw drowned in oil? Why are the grilled peppers poured with oil when there is a bowl of garlic oil next to them? Six months ago you could still see and taste the freshly cut pieces of garlic. What's floating in it now? The grilled king prawns in a broth have recently been swimming towards the edge of the plate in competition with the soggy fries. The well-rehearsed service can no longer save all of this. I would like to revoke my previous review "Best Greek far and wide".

Yesterday I was presented with a different menu where all prices were increased by a percentage. 2 days before the prices were still within the usual range. To my question of “why now?” the slim lady claimed that the prices had been like this since January. That is not the truth. I have been a regular customer so far and I also understand that the catering industry is struggling. What I cannot tolerate under any circumstances are blatant lies straight to your face. And THAT is exactly what unfortunately causes me to withdraw your regular customer BONUS. Lies don't build trust. What else am I being lied to about? What a shame! I used to go 2-3 times a month with different guests. This is the end of a very long time! Sad!

Nice atmosphere, very tasty food

The food was super tasty and came quite quickly, but that was it. Nobody was interested in us anymore, our glasses stood empty for ages, nobody asked if we would like to drink something else. We made it clear that we would like to pay, but that was ignored. My husband then wanted to go inside to pay after another 20 minutes, he was sent out again...someone would come to collect in a moment. After another 20 minutes, glasses and plates were still on our table. Then our men went in together and finally someone took pity on us. Next time we are in the area we will definitely choose another restaurant. A pity
