Restaurant Epidavros in Nürnberg

Leider zum wiederholten Mal kam unser Essen (2 Familien) viel zu spät. Wir hatten reserviert, es war gut besucht, Servicepersonal hat sich (wie auch sonst) mehrfach entschuldigt über die schlechte Küchenplanung (die ist, nach Aussage, immer überlastet, noch nicht eingespielt...). Aber nichts destotrotz mussten wir, wie auch schon 2x an Silvester, weit über eine Std. auf das Essen warten, während sämtliche Tische, die NACH uns kamen, vor uns bedient wurden. Mit 3 Kindern nicht einfach zu händeln. Schade, sonst ist es so eine schöne Location.

Wir kommen sehr gerne in dieses tolle Restaurant. Empfehlenswert ist zu reservieren, vorallem wenn man draußen im wunderschönen Garten sitzen möchte.

Sehr zu empfehlendes griechisches Restaurant. Qualität der Speisen ist gut, Preise sind angemessen, Wickelmöglichkeit für Babys ist vorhanden.

Wir kommen öfters ins Epidavros und mögen vor allem den Garten sehr. Unsere Tochter liebt den Halloumi. Leider wird die Portion aber immer kleiner (jetzt nur noch 3 kleine Scheiben) und ist für 8,20 € einfach nicht mehr zu rechtfertigen, was sehr schade ist. Ansonsten sind wir immer zufrieden und es schmeckt super.

Sehr gutes Essen, aber etwas Hochpreissig. Aber ist halt Stadt. Der Bierarten ist im Sommer auch sehr schön.

Das Restaurant ist in Ordnung. Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Knapp 2 Stunden vor Schließung kann man nichts mehr bestellen. Man sollte dann die Öffnungszeiten anpassen oder es online hinterlegen...

Wir waren heute mit zehn Personen zum Geburtstagsessen in diesem griechischen Restaurant und sind rundum begeistert! 😊 Schon beim Ankommen wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Das gesamte Team war ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und hat sich wirklich toll um uns gekümmert. Trotz unserer größeren Gruppe lief alles reibungslos. Das Essen war einfach hervorragend – frisch, sehr lecker und schön angerichtet. Besonders positiv war, dass alle Gerichte gleichzeitig, schnell und vor allem heiß serviert wurden. Das ist bei einer so großen Gruppe wirklich nicht selbstverständlich! Wir haben uns den ganzen Abend über sehr wohlgefühlt und den Service als besonders angenehm und herzlich erlebt. Ein großes Dankeschön an das gesamte Team für diesen gelungenen Geburtstagsabend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder! 🎉

Wir haben uns für dieses Restaurant entschieden, weil es auch vegetarische Gerichte anbietet - was bei Griechen ja nicht oft der Fall ist. Es war Sonntagabend sehr gut besucht. Wir wurden ohne Reservierung und mit Hund sehr freundlich empfangen. Der Service war ausgesprochen Freundlich und auf Zack. Die Wartezeit auf das Essen war vergkeichsweise kurz. Das Essen war wunderbar. Wir waren rundum zufrieden!

Das Essen war sehr lecker - mehr Qualität als Quantität, aber auf jeden Fall ausreichende Portionen.

Schöner Biergarten mit Spielplatz, lauter Flipperautomat für die Kids nervt allerdings. Gerichte recht gut. Fischgerichte leider etwas trocken. Ich finde es unhöflich sich für Trinkgeld nicht zu bedanken.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wir sind seit Jahren Stammkunden im Restaurant Epidavros und kommen immer wieder sehr gerne. Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Das Essen ist konstant sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet und wird erfreulich schnell serviert. Besonders schön ist der Gartenbereich, der im Sommer für eine tolle, entspannte Atmosphäre sorgt. Ein kleiner Nachteil ist der Preis: Für Vorspeise, Hauptgericht und zwei kleine Getränke muss man pro Person mit etwa 40 € rechnen. Außerdem könnten die Toiletten eine Auffrischung vertragen – sie hatten schon bessere Zeiten. Trotzdem überwiegen ganz klar die positiven Eindrücke. Essen, Service und Ambiente stimmen einfach. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes griechisches Restaurant, das wir definitiv weiterempfehlen! 🇬🇷✨

Wir waren zum ersten mal dort und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Super flotter Service, auch beim bezahlen, tolle Gerichte und eine schöne Einrichtung. Die Speisen waren alle sehr gut, wir hatten die Dolmadakia, Gyros/Souvlaki und das Gyros in Metaxasosse überbacken. Alles sehr schmackhaft und eine gute Portion. Gerne wieder.

Leckeres Essen, guter Service, hier kommen wir immer wieder gerne. Nur zu Stoßzeiten bleibt das Essen machmal ein bisschen zu lang im Ofen.

War eine sehr teure Angelegenheit

Essen ist in letzter Zeit unterdurchschnittlich und preislich nicht gerechtfertigt. Gyros ist fettig, labbrig und sicherlich TK-Ware. Zaziki muss separat bestellt werden, was für mich ein No-Go ist. Beilagensalat extrem schlecht, kann man sich sparen. Bestellungen dauern (sonntags) immer (!) eine Stunde. Einziger Pluspunkt: Biergarten und allgemeines Ambiente sind schön. Fazit: Einziges Restaurant in Reichelsdorf, deshalb leider Monopolstellung mit deutlich überzogenen Preisen für die unterdurchschnittliche Leistung.

Sehr netter Service und das Essen war wieder sehr lecker 😋! Wir kommen seit letztem Jahr immer zum zweiten Weihnachtstag um uns mit der Familie zu treffen und einen schönen entspannten Abend zu verbringen. Das Ambiente hier ist auch sehr angenehm. Wir fühlen uns sehr wohl.

Freundliche, liebevoll eingerichtete Gaststätte mit guter, großer Auswahl an Griechenland-orientierten Speisen. Herzlicher Empfang und -wenn möglich- direkte Begleitung an freuen Platz. Besonders erfreulich ist es, dass es dieses Lokal schon seit vielen Jahren gibt und die fröhliche Gastfreundschaft Sommer (mit großem Gartenbereich) wie Winter auf hohem Niveau gepflegt wird.

This was my first time at Epidavros. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. The menu is almost too extensive, making it hard to know what to order. The portions aren't worth the price. I had a baked feta cheese, with an olive, a hot pepper, and plenty of oil alongside the feta – nothing more. Charging €11.20 for this is pretty daring. Furthermore, the restrooms weren't in keeping with the ambiance; they should be improved. I won't be coming back for a while.

Calamari was too salty, rice was bland, and poorly presented – all in all, disappointing!

Very poor value for money. The plates were carelessly presented and without decoration. Both gyros and calamari were served without tzatziki, or only at an additional cost. The calamari was very salty. The conservatory is very nice in itself, but it's always cold due to poor insulation and the ventilation that keeps cutting off.

Top-notch place. We reserved a table late in the evening with over 15 people. It was no problem at all. Thanks again to the entire team. It was delicious. Unfortunately, we're from northern Germany and don't come here very often. But when we're in Nuremberg, we'll be happy to come back :)

The Greek restaurant Epidavros in Nuremberg is highly recommended. We visited there for the second time, having already been impressed by our first visit. This time we were there with a family friend – even a larger group is no problem, as there is plenty of space and suitable rooms. The large beer garden and spacious interior make the restaurant particularly inviting. The staff is numerous, friendly, and very attentive. The portions are large and delicious – from the starters to the main courses and desserts, everything was top-notch. Guests with dogs are also welcome, which worked out smoothly. The prices are more than fair for the quality offered. Highly recommended – although reservations are advisable.

Let me put it this way: When I go out to eat, I expect value for money. I've had quite a few experiences at Epidavros during my visits. The service and ambiance are certainly appealing. The service is very well organized. The food isn't bad, and the quality of the produce (meat and fish) is okay. Unfortunately, the salad was overcooked, and it lacked a dressing that would suit the Greek taste. Bottom line: You have to try it for yourself; perhaps the kitchen was having a bad day. Since it wasn't too salty, the chef wasn't in love either.

Very tasty and generous portions. However, the feta cheese in the bifteki was a bit thin, and the salad was a bit thin, too – but overall, it was delicious! Metaxa sauce was an extra €4... Great, fast service in a cozy atmosphere and a comfortable beer garden rounded it off nicely.

The beer garden is truly a dream, beautiful, and a great place to sit. The staff is also incredibly friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food was a real disappointment. We used to be regulars here a few years ago, so I can say the food was much better back then. The side salad was barely fresh, the lettuce leaves were already dark and soggy. The tomato rice was dry, and the bifteki had more feta cheese in it. The tzatziki that evening was also pretty much the worst I've had in a long time. It's a real shame, I remembered it being much better.

A beautiful beer garden invites you to linger, and the interior, with its bright conservatory, is both stylish and cozy. The food today was consistently excellent: fresh, authentic, and prepared with love. You can taste the quality in every bite. The staff was also super friendly, attentive, and welcoming – we simply felt at home. The value for money is absolutely perfect! We go to Greek restaurants regularly, but this restaurant really surprised and impressed us today. Definitely not our last visit – a definite recommendation!

I was there for the first time today, and I have to say, I was a little disappointed. At first, we waited forever for the conditions, even though everyone kept walking past us. Drinks came quickly. I ordered souvlaki, and there wasn't a single dollop of tzatziki. I've never experienced that before, really. So I ordered an extra portion of tzatziki, which was too much 🤷‍♀️ The meat was relatively dry and tasteless, as was the tzatziki. Of the side salad, the coleslaw was tasty. The rest was also very bland. So, I didn't particularly enjoy it; I've had much better Greek food. The prices aren't exactly cheap, either. What's really nice is the garden. Beautiful ambiance, shady, very pleasant to sit in. But I won't be going there for dinner again; overall, the price-performance ratio is too poor.

Very good service, fast and courteous. Very friendly staff. The food was something different from what I'm used to at a standard Greek restaurant. Not bad, just unfortunate if you have different expectations. In the end, everyone enjoyed it. We'd be happy to go back!

Good food and friendly service. However, due to the size of the beer garden, it sometimes takes a while to get noticed.

The first and last time we were here... Reservations for 6:30 p.m. Yes, we were a little late! and moved right at the beginning. But if by 8:00 p.m.!!!! all the main course dishes aren't on the table, then something is wrong with the organization. And to make matters worse, there isn't even an apology. The food is mediocre, average, nothing special, but not fundamentally bad either. There's still a lot of room for improvement, but we won't see that, because they've already lost us as guests today.

Unfortunately my food was burnt and there was no trace of the sauce except for oil, which was unfortunately nowhere to be seen.

We personally enjoyed the food, especially the chocolate soufflé and semolina cake, which were outstanding desserts. Our overall review was positive.

We already know it as Rührersall... and after that we always had great food... We ended up here again today... I think there are new tenants... but that's not meant negatively... quite the opposite...👍..it was 100% better today than a year ago... Mega quality and quantity... super awesome beer garden, super friendly staff... top food and the prices are absolutely fair too... Keep it up... now this is our new regular Greek restaurant.. 😉👏🏼

Light and shade.... The service and the food were excellent as always, nothing to complain about. However, the pricing policy is! A main course without tzatziki is only available here for an additional charge. And if you want tzatziki instead of the salad, it costs an additional €2.50 – but the portion is ridiculously small (see picture)... And FINALLY renovate your toilets!!!! They don't match the rest of the menu at all!

It was my first time here and I was immediately impressed. We had a seat in the large beer garden, which is very nice. There is a playground for the children. Service was absolutely brilliant, very friendly and accommodating. I noticed that with larger groups of 5-6 people, the ordered food is all served at the same time, no one in the group had to wait for their food, generally you don't have to wait long for your food. The food is very, very tasty, with large portions and a wide selection of dishes and drinks; there is something for everyone. I recommend making a reservation as the Epidavros restaurant is busy, both in the restaurant and in the beer garden. We will be eating there more often or always now. I am already looking forward to the next time. Despite the children's playground and the noise of a beer garden, I found it pleasantly quiet and relaxing.

The dishes seem unloving and are served without any side dishes. Both the calamari and the meat were tough. You also have to pay extra for the tzatziki. The plates are completely plain, lacking any decoration or attention to detail. It seems as if the restaurant doesn't have to make any more effort because its regular customers don't have high expectations. The prices for drinks are noticeably high, especially for 0.33-liter soft drinks, which taste like they've been poured from large plastic bottles. It's incomprehensible why Pepsi Zero costs €5 while regular Pepsi is offered for €4. Overall, I find the value for money very poor. The positive Google reviews seem unrealistic to me. Perhaps the owner has changed, or the operators' attitude towards price, quality, and customer satisfaction has deteriorated significantly.

Had dinner in this great restaurant today. We enjoyed it very much and the service was also really great and friendly. I only have one point that could be improved. That would be to put a little zakziki on the plate. We ordered it specially. But I think it's complaining at a high level. We will definitely recommend this restaurant and will come back soon. Good Greek restaurant in the south of Nuremberg The reception is always very friendly and accommodating, as is the service. The menu is similar to other Greek restaurants, so you can find all the dishes you are used to. The wine list is remarkable; the Epidavros restaurant stands out here. The preparation is very good and the portions are good.

A nice Greek restaurant with a large selection of food. Everything was well prepared and tasty. The children got their food earlier, which was very good. Otherwise it took a while for the food to arrive, but the restaurant was very busy. All in all a lovely Greek evening.

We've been there three times, but in the outdoor area/pavilion. Weddings, baptisms and birthdays... and everything was in perfect order every time... there were enough parking spaces in front of the restaurant and there is a play area in the garden for the little ones... Hope to come back soon!!
