Because of the new bad reviews, I was a bit skeptical. Especially as a Greek. But then I was pleasantly surprised! The service was great, quick and efficient. The food was superbly prepared. Meat fried just right, tzatziki fresh. Since we were a group, we were also offered additional bread. Service was super quick, food came super quickly too. The atmosphere outside is really beautiful. So we'll come back anytime.

Unfortunately, it started when we had to ask after 15-20 minutes whether we could order something. For the starter we had to ask for the bread which we didn't get (which wasn't enough). Main course tasted good (a bit expensive for the quantity) And throughout the entire stay, we weren't even asked if everything was okay or if we needed anything else. Unfortunately, the service was so bad and it gave the impression that we were completely overwhelmed that we probably won't come back

Spend a quiet evening here, very romantic for two

It was always delicious, but also expensive. But now the portions are getting smaller. The service is now a disaster. Regular guests for 20 years - that was once. No longer recommended.

Service totally disorganized (didn't know which food belonged to which table) For main courses there isn't even a "dot" of tzatziki. Ordered 4x tzatziki starter and received a basket (with 4 slices) of bread. Plate for 2 people is a joke. There weren't even any extra plates to share the food with. “Placing an order” took 30 minutes until someone came. Drink order. If there was exactly once at the beginning, then no one ever came again.

Actually there is no risk of repetition 😄 It was pretty good so far. Except for the tzatziki... I ordered take away and the food was delivered at the right time. Unfortunately, I discovered that my gyros calamari didn't come with tzatziki. Unfortunately, recently, such cost-cutting measures have been taking place again and again in many restaurants. If it's not that important to you, you're welcome to skip it. In my opinion it's definitely worth deducting a point. Ps. The outdoor area is definitely worth a visit when the weather is good. Even if it's just for a beer.

It's a lovely restaurant with very good food and a great atmosphere, at good prices.

Unfortunately the staff was completely overwhelmed. Our reservation was no longer known, but it was resolved. Wrong food was delivered - no question was asked about what was right! I then waited in vain for more than 30 minutes. Children's schnitzel without ketchup and with a small one! hand-full of fries. We waited ages for drinks or they never came. The counter is very very full of old glasses. The organization of the service staff urgently needs improvement. Unfortunately, our guests' farewell dinner was a bit mixed.

Wir waren bereits öfter hier und mussten leider feststellen, dass auch hier an allen Ecken gespart wird. Die Portionen sind so deutlich geschrumpft, dass niemand wirklich satt geworden ist. Die Preise sind für das was man bekommt deutlich überzogen. Außerdem mussten wir fast eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten.

Went for lunch with four adults and a 21/2 year old girl. Thanks to the nice weather, we were able to sit in the large, well-kept garden. There are enough high chairs for younger guests. The service is first class. Attentive and familiar. The dishes we ordered came at the same time. There was even children's cutlery for our grandchild. There was an ouzo for the adults and a 🍭 for the little ones. The food was very tasty. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos. The grandchild was more important. We'd love to come back.

We found the restaurant through good reviews and went there. You also had to bring a lot of time. It was very crowded. I thought it was good that there was a lot for children, such as a playground. The food was delicious, but I thought it was a shame that there was no tzatziki with my dish or it was the same with the others.

Slow deterioration in quality - we guests notice it! The previously excellent quality of the food has deteriorated significantly for around a year. For the tzatziki, low-fat quark is used instead of fat, instead of the thin fries there are such wide things that are never crispy, but always mushy and tried and tested recipes are "changed". According to the menu there was supposed to be coleslaw or green leaf salad, as it was for years, now there is a mixed plate of both salads, whether that goes with the main course or not suddenly doesn't seem to matter. Why is the coleslaw drowned in oil? Why are the grilled peppers poured with oil when there is a bowl of garlic oil next to them? Six months ago you could still see and taste the freshly cut pieces of garlic. What's floating in it now? The grilled king prawns in a broth have recently been swimming towards the edge of the plate in competition with the soggy fries. The well-rehearsed service can no longer save all of this. I would like to revoke my previous review "Best Greek far and wide".

Yesterday I was presented with a different menu where all prices were increased by a percentage. 2 days before the prices were still within the usual range. To my question of “why now?” the slim lady claimed that the prices had been like this since January. That is not the truth. I have been a regular customer so far and I also understand that the catering industry is struggling. What I cannot tolerate under any circumstances are blatant lies straight to your face. And THAT is exactly what unfortunately causes me to withdraw your regular customer BONUS. Lies don't build trust. What else am I being lied to about? What a shame! I used to go 2-3 times a month with different guests. This is the end of a very long time! Sad!

Nice atmosphere, very tasty food

The food was super tasty and came quite quickly, but that was it. Nobody was interested in us anymore, our glasses stood empty for ages, nobody asked if we would like to drink something else. We made it clear that we would like to pay, but that was ignored. My husband then wanted to go inside to pay after another 20 minutes, he was sent out again...someone would come to collect in a moment. After another 20 minutes, glasses and plates were still on our table. Then our men went in together and finally someone took pity on us. Next time we are in the area we will definitely choose another restaurant. A pity

A single catastrophe. Based on the many positive reviews, we decided to celebrate a birthday in the beer garden there. But even at the beginning, despite reservations, no place was reserved. If it hadn't happened that there was still room, we would have had to leave. Ok, one mistake can be tolerated, but it ran like a common thread through the celebration throughout the evening. The boss there was so unfriendly when ordering food that I wasn't the only one who noticed it. We ordered starters and main courses which came at the same time. Which of course isn't so exciting when there are only plates everywhere and no place to eat. At the beginning we were given something to drink and in the whole 3 hours we were there, not once did a waiter come and ask if we would like something more to drink. After begging, someone finally came and we ordered a second drink. I ordered a non-alcoholic beer and received it with a glass and bottle. When I wanted to pour myself a drink, I touched the bottle and noticed that the beer was completely warm. The bottle was also full of dust, so my fingers were dirty. I showed it to the waiter and swiped it again with my finger and he saw my dirty fingertip. I also complained that the beer was warm and not chilled. He apologized and said he would bring me a new one. Yes, instead of the new one, I got the same warm bottle again, but wiped off with a wet cloth. After this action I thought that the food had to be at least at a high end level. I ordered king prawns with calamari. I don't know what they mean by king prawns? These were 4 small scampi sliced ​​like road killed chicken and 4 strips of calamari. Add a potato and the guest gets 29 euros out of his pocket. As mentioned, one mistake can be forgiven, but the overall result leaves me speechless. How do they get such top reviews? This is a mystery to me. Conclusion, we spent 300 euros today for lousy service and food that met the standard, but by no means more. I cannot recommend a visit there and there will be no further visits from me either.

Rip-offs. For 11 euros I ordered the prawns in white wine garlic sauce and got 4 tiny prawns. You had to order the tzatziki separately with the gyros calamari, which I have never experienced at any Greek restaurant. The fries tasted old and the portion was also a bit small. The gyros and the calamari tasted ok. If you're looking for a good Greek restaurant, it's better to go to the TSV Katzwang sports center, which is worlds better and also cheaper.

Very nice beer garden with very good food and good value for money

For me the best Greek in Nuremberg. Comparable to the Delphi in the city center. Every dish is incredibly delicious, whether sardines, tongue fillet, calamari or retsina plate (picture), even the warm starter plate (picture) was absolutely delicious! There is nothing to complain about, whether you sit inside or outside! Keep it up!

Very good value and excellent food

The first Greek where I had to pay extra for the tzatziki (salad). There was nothing with the meal and 5€30 for a bit of tzatziki and then much too thin. You also had to order salad separately. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either and the lack of salad and tzatziki was far too expensive. Price performance is not right here. Staff is friendly and on the ball. We (10 men) will no longer visit this Greek.

Very nice evening. Food was very tasty. Despite being busy, we didn't have to wait long. Maybe redesign the playground. But we still enjoy coming back again and again. The deduction is for the playground. Beer garden is very cozy.

Saturday 7:00 p.m. very, very long waiting times and the price of the food was too expensive... employees were too overwhelmed and couldn't keep up. We had to wait a long time for the food and after waiting 10 minutes we went to the counter to pay. It's a shame we remembered it better.

The lamb chops and suflaki meat were tough as leather. And charging 4 euros 70 cents for a 0.33 liter Pepsi Cola Light is an outrage. Once and never again.

Unfortunately, they have gotten worse and worse. Seven of us were there today at 7 p.m. At first we were ignored and after I stood up and asked for menus, I was simply handed the menus. I understand that it can sometimes be stressful, especially on the weekend, but the store really wasn't that busy today. After reporting several times, the order was taken at 8 p.m. And at 9 p.m. the food finally came, although most of us only ordered gyros in the pita. 2 whole hours. Unfortunately it's not justified anywhere. The food was ok. It wasn't particularly good but it wasn't bad either. But it was also far too expensive for that. I don't know if the pitas really cost that much or if we just asked for it that way, but in any case they all seriously wanted 15 euros for a pita. For that, you can eat at least two somewhere else and be full. The second point is only because of the ambience, which is why we went there. After the visit we all agreed that it was the last time. But the service is catastrophic. I think it's a real shame.

I love this restaurant, the service here is amazing. One staff member spilled some wine over my pants, but I was cool with it. He was really nervous and sorry and he even gave some ice cream to make it up. Food was good and its a great atmosphere.

Food was ok, but nothing special. However, prices are very high. 0.3 Spezi €3.70 the most expensive Spezi I've ever drunk. This even shoots down the overpriced spec from Lacomedia. Gyros calamari almost 20 euros and then the plate comes without tzatziki? Tzatziki additionally over 5 euros. I've never paid as much anywhere as I did here. That's why I won't come back. The average meal can be found elsewhere for almost half as much. But portions were ok, so you got enough for the money.

We were in Nuremberg with the ship during the Easter weekend of 2024. On Easter Monday we decided to go out for dinner. We found this Greek restaurant via Google Maps, called and made a reservation. The service is wonderful and pleasant. The food is good. We had a hot and cold dish in advance. My wife then had a gyro with metaxa sauce and I had a meat dish. All in all a good restaurant and saved in the favorites.

Nice Authentic restaurant with good vibes, food was amazing in terms of taste and quality. Little away from Nuremberg but it’s right next to the Sbahn and with car it’s more easy. Highly recommended.

Wir waren auf Geburtstag eingeladen, das Essen an sich super lecker 😋 nur leider zu viele Teller, zu kleine Tische... ich verstehe auch nicht warum man pommes und Reis jedes Teil auf einzelne Teller serviert hat, es hätte super auf dem Fleisch Teller Platz gehabt, zum Schluss haben wir es auch so gemacht um Platz zu haben! Unnötig waren auch zu viele Gläser, man hat es dem Kellner immer wieder mitgegeben, leider hat dieser es immer ignoriert. Getränke wurden nicht immer aufgefüllt, man musste es immer wieder erwähnen. Im großen und ganzen war alles gut, war ja nicht mein Geburtstag.

My go-to spot for 20 years. Hands down the best Greek food I've ever eaten.

Waren am Sonntag Abend dort. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Atmosphäre und Service waren auch sehr gut. Wir werden hier gerne wieder herkommen und empfehlen einen Besuch wärmstens weiter.

Wir waren zum wiederholten Male dort und hochzufrieden und hatten einen Platz im kuschelig warmen Pavillon/Wintergarten (im November bei Regen echt angenehm, am besten reservieren). Obwohl das Restaurant ausgebucht erschien, war der Service sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und flott. Das Essen ist zu fairen Preisen weit überdurchschnittlich schmackhaft und frisch. Ich hatte als Vorspeise marinierten Oktopus, der sehr schnell serviert wurde und vorzüglich war. Die Haupspeisen kamen zeitgleich. Gyros war perfekt gegart und Lammkoteletts ohne jeglichen unangenehmen Nachgeschmack und perfekt gewürzt. Gehört zu den besten zwei Griechen, die ich deutschlandweit kenne. Wärmstens zu empfehlen.

Toller, großer Biergarten mit viel Platz für Kinder. Alles eingezäunt, da können die Kinder sicher spielen. Das Essen kommt schnell und immer frisch. Sehr gute Calamari, innen weich und außen knusprig! Leider muß man Tzatziki meistens extra bestellen, außer bei Olympia Platte.

Wir hatten für 6 Personen für ein gemeinsames Abendessen im Restaurant Epidavros reserviert. Die Anfahrt ist hier auch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (S-Bahnhof in unmittelbarer Nähe) sehr gut möglich, außerdem sind ausreichend Parkplätze bzw. Parkmöglichkeiten (für Fahrradfahrer auf dem Restaurantgelände) vorhanden. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und zum Tisch geleitet, die Speisekarten wurden zügig übergeben und ebenso die Getränkebestellungen aufgenommen. Obwohl das Restaurant sehr gut besucht war, wurden die Getränke (und im weiteren Verlauf jeweils auch die Speisen bzw. Nachbestellungen) schnell ausgeführt - großes Kompliment an den Service, der wirklich alle Hände voll zu tun hatte und dies stets mit einem Lächeln und absolut fehlerfrei erledigte. Wir waren mit der Qualität und dem Geschmack unserer Speisen (und der Getränke natürlich auch) höchst zufrieden - alle Gerichte wurden noch heiß serviert und schmeckten köstlich. Die Portionen waren großzügig bemessen, die Preise sind hierfür fair und wirklich akzeptabel. Alle Sonderwünsche (die meisten wollten statt Reis lieber Pommes Frites zu den Gerichten) wurden anstandslos und ohne Aufpreis erfüllt. Dies war zwar mein erster Besuch im Epidavros, aber garantiert nicht mein letzter. Unbedingt empfehlenswert! Nachtrag vom 2.9.23: Wir waren diesmal zu viert im Epidavros und saßen im schön angelegten Garten. Vermutlich aufgrund einer größeren Feier, die zeitgleich stattfand, kam es bei uns zu Verzögerungen bei der Aufnahme und der Ausführung unserer Bestellung (mehr als eine Stunde Wartezeit bis zum Servieren des Essens), auch wurde nicht immer darauf geachtet, dass Gläser leer waren; die Qualität der Speisen und Getränke waren aber wie immer erstklassig. Auch wenn es diesmal beim Service nicht so gut lief, kommen wir definitiv wieder...

Ein gemütliches Griechisches Restaurant. Wir saßen im Biergarten und wurden von einem sehr freundlichen Kellner bedient. Das Essen ist nicht günstig, jedoch sehr lecker und daher stimmt auch der Preis. Hervorzuheben ist das gesamte Team vom Epidavros, dass sich viel Mühe gibt, seine Gäste zu bewirten. Grundsätzlich ein super Grieche von nebenan. Der Ort und die Musik, wie die Deko geben einem direkt ein bisschen Griechenland nach Nürnberg. Das Personal ist sehr nett und gibt sich Mühe. Das Essen ist an sich echt gut, mir persönlich aber manchmal etwas zu schwarz gebraten oder fettig. Aber ist teilweise auch typisch griechisch, nur hier ein kleinen Abzug, sonst super.

Der Biergarten ist schön angelegt und die Bedienunge super nett. Zu unseren Weinen orderten wir Saganaki und frittiertes Gemüse, diese waren gut gerichtet aber etwas fade. Der Fischteller mit Kalamari und Scampi konnte fast überzeugen, geschmacklich gut aber der Fisch war schon hart. In Summe ein ganz guter Grieche mit freundlichen Menschen.
