Our food, currywurst with rolls and sweet and sour eggs with potatoes, were very tasty. Very friendly people sit here and work here. Everything was great and friendly and the prices were very affordable. It was great.

What you read here is unfathomable 👎 are in Pirna in September and are looking for good restaurants - this definitely won't be the case - maybe the chef should do a course or change! A proper dish needs some time to cook - it's not the speed that's important 👎 and you should love your cooking skills - the cheap price may be a good thing but how many guests were and are dissatisfied 👎 then it's better to be two kreuzers more expensive Appealing - as I read in a reception, if you wanted to eat like in the GDR you would probably be right there "that's outrageous - those in the East always cooked well and it was tasty - it's not for nothing that so many Wessis just go to the East to eat cheaply and well - but this chef certainly didn't learn to cook in the East.

Simple pub with very cheap food

I can't understand the negative reviews either. Three different dishes were ordered. Tastes great, just like before. Prices optimal. And the service was very quick, courteous and very careful.

It is a dive bar with a special charm. You like it or not. There's nothing in between. The fun factor comes first here, and the operators don't take themselves too seriously. Exceptional home cooking that you rarely get at a really reasonable price. The warmth comes first.

We are currently sitting in the traditional restaurant “Zur armen Sau” in Pirma and enjoying the delicious food. 😋 . Highly recommended, simply great and inexpensive. We will be back. Many greetings from Pirna from Saxon Switzerland.

This is a place where the less well-off can get a decent meal and, on top of that, receive friendly service.

Nothing was even remotely good. Mashed potatoes out of the bag, liver completely bloody, even the onions were disgusting. Food went back, never again. Even if you are very hungry, go to Ramazotti, it tastes great and is not far away.

We were here with six people and we were all completely satisfied. Of course, food and the associated taste is always subjective. But I can hardly understand these negative reviews. The food was good for everyone and everything was eaten. There was pork knuckle, Jägerschnitzel, liver, farmer's breakfast and bratwurst. So also different dishes. Only the ambience - we knew beforehand what we were getting into - is just an inn. But that's exactly how it should be in my opinion. Price/performance, as it should be.

If we hadn't been so hungry and short on time...we would have left without eating ####. For example, the schnitzel was almost bloody The loin I ordered...was burnt...dry...schnitzel meat. Really sad 😢

No thanks! When I was asked if something was wrong, I stated all of it. The waitress disappeared with the plate, then came back and asked if I would like to choose something else. I was actually disgusted after the schnitzel, but so as not to let things escalate I ordered a bratwurst with fries (you can't really go wrong with that). The bratwurst was OK, as were the fries, but a small portion. For the price of €5, however, it's reasonable. Now comes the coronation: the bill 2x gypsy schnitzel, 1 x bratwurst fries and the drinks😳 I refused to pay for one Gypsy Schnitzel. The waitress cheekily claims that I almost ate it😳😳 I cut off two small pieces of the schnitzel and spat one of them into the napkins (cartilage). Tried the sauce, tried the potato, swallowed it in disgust. In the end I paid for half the schnitzel but it wasn't correct. Conclusion: It's better not to go there if you want to stay healthy and feel full

Food is very cheap, but hardly edible! Duck was tough and fatty, red cabbage wasn't cooked through and mini dumplings weren't fresh! Even a nice atmosphere and a friendly waiter are of no use!

Well, something must have happened in the kitchen here, because we really don't know where the good reviews come from. I guess their stove blew up, so they bought it at a discount store, heated it up in the microwave and served it. The food was really awful! Pleasant service and atmosphere. The coffee is probably ok, but the food is terrible!

The food was delicious and the service was friendly and very entertaining. The prices are unbeatably cheap. We'd love to come back.

Absolute disaster and the biggest question I ask myself is where the good reviews come from. We were passing through Pirna and actually wanted to eat a bratwurst with potato salad, but what can I say, that was absolutely the biggest disaster. We asked for a map and all we got was the curt answer: we don't have anything like that, just what's on the signs outside. Yes, okay, so I ordered 2x bratwurst with potato salad and what can I say, the potato salad was ignored and she then cut up two rolls. When asked what about the potato salad, only potato salad came. No, we don't have any more potato salad, even though the potato salad was on the table behind her and I also cut up the rolls. She turned around and took out a metal bowl with fried sausages in it and put them on a plate and put them in the microwave to warm them up. Everything was out of my face and then there was the cola, which of course also came from the discount store. I could write a lot more but I think it's enough that you know what kind of shop this is.

Super Gaststätte, der Gast wird richtig hofiert. So etwas gibt es zu selten. Die Preise sind günstig.

Da waren wir am Sonntag (We Hofnacht) essen. Folienkartoffel und Schnitzel mit Champignons ne Weltklasse und der Preis top. VG dorr Hausmeister

Auf dem Weg mit dem Fahrrad von Janov nach Dresden Halt in Pirna gemacht. Was zu Essen und Akku Lade Möglichkeit gesucht. In der „Armen Sau“ fündig geworden. Aus lauter Freude darüber lecker gegessen und mit Wander-Peter, E-Bike Lehmi und Einheimischer-Rene über ortsgebundene Highlights philosophiert und Schnaps auf meinen Geburtstag getrunken. 🥂. Essen war super. Schnaps war lecker, Bier auch. Preise total ok und die freundliche Bedienung war der Hammer 👍🏼. Hat total Spaß und Freude gemacht, mit euch den Regen abzuwarten. Sehr gesellig dort. Ich komme gerne in die Arme Sau essen, es schmeckt super lecker, geht schnell und man wird immer herzlich bedient.

Der Koch hats völlig versaut die nette Bedienung hat es wieder einigermaßen gut gemacht. Sehr schlechte Luft.

Wir haben während einer Radtour im Restaurant "Zur armen Sau" gestärkt. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt und zügig gedient. Mit den Speisen und Getränken waren wir sehr zufrieden. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis kann als ausgezeichnet bezeichnet werden. Sehr gern werden wir hier wieder eine Rast machen.

Durch zufalll haben wir dort zu Mittag gegessen faires Essen und die Bedienung , Wir denken das es Mutter und Tochter waren waren Top , super lieb toller Service Und das Essen gut Bürgerlich zu fairen Preisen . 2. Besuch am Freitag nach 15:00 in der Armen Sau , ich dachte hier wird ne Folge Hartz 4 tv gedreht , eine andere Welt tat sich auf , die dunkel haarige Bedienung , unfreundlich , ungepflegt , die Gäste waren dem sehr ähnlich , Draußen an den Tischen haben Gäste ihre Box aktiviert und laut Musik abgespielt . Fazit Mittagessen bis 15.00 ok ab 16.00 geht das gar nicht

Für einen günstigen und guten Kaffee super! Allgemein sind die Preise sehr günstig. Leider hatte es geregnet und in den planen hat sich Wasser gesammelt. Mit einer starken windboe kam das Wasser ordentlich auf die Gäste herunter. Hier ggf mal die planen abschütteln, damit die Gäste nicht pudelnass dort sitzen müssen. Definitiv Stern Abzug für die Toiletten Situation. Diese stehen da einfach im Gang ohne weitere räumliche Abtrennung zum Gang/Garderobe etc. - ist vermutlich dem mangelnden Platz zu Schulden.

Es war ein Genuss hier zu essen und das Personal ist echt freundlich und alles für einen schmalen Kurs. Aussengastronomie ist einfach dennoch ausreichend!

Preis- Leistung passt. Einfach, hausgemacht und gut. Es gibt Selbstbedienung, die Mahlzeiten werden serviert.

Schade das ich die Bewertungen zu spät gelesen habe. Das schlechteste Essen ever, Schnitzel mit Rahmchampinions und Bratkartoffeln. Dosenfraß vom Feinsten, das Schnitzel war verbrannt und knochentrocken. Nachdem ich Reklamiert hatte bekam ich ein Schnitzel halb roh, ungewürzt und zäh wie Leder. Gewürze scheint der „Koch“generell nicht zu kennen. Dazu gab es lauwarmes Bier.

Wer keine großen Ansprüche stellt ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Essen Getränke preiswert,Lage direkt in der Fussgängerzone Personal sehr nett und freundlich was will man als Gast mehr.

... und witzig wie die Benennung des Lokals und dessen Stammkundschaft zusammenpassen! Die Inhaberin ist aber sehr flink und zuvorkommend, zudem hat das Lokal bis 23 Uhr geöffnet, was in Pirna bei weitem nicht überall selbstverständlich ist.

Ich habe böhmische Knödel mit Gulasch und Sauerkraut gegessen. Das Gericht war sensationell und die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Die Preise günstig! Es ist halt eine Kneipe und kein Nobelrestaurant! Gutes Essen für günstiges Geld!!

Sehr gut! Hatten Sülze mit Bratkartoffel - diese waren wirklich lecker zubereitet und angerichtet, sehr freundliche Bedienung. Wer Schickimicki sucht ist hier falsch, dafür witzige Einheimische.
