Ich war jetzt schon öfters dort. Mir schmeckt das Essen sehr gut und es gibt eine abwechslungsreiche Karte. Der Service ist immer sehr freundlich, schnell und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Kann ich persönlich nur empfehlen.

Heute das erste Mal hier gewesen leider nicht zu empfehlen. Das Essen war nicht so besonders gut und der Salat hat gar nicht gut geschmeckt. Die Anlage ist top und schön und der Besitzer ist auch freundlich nur muss das Essen eben auch stimmen. Leider besuchen wir es nicht noch einmal

Hervorragendes Essen in einem wunderschönen Ambiente. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich ausgezeichnet. Die Familie, die das Lokal betreibt, ist unglaublich herzlich und sorgt dafür, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und wohlfühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Es gibt eine schöne große Terrasse mit vielen Sitzplätzen wo man das gute Essen genießen kann.Service war sehr freundlich. Parkplätze sind vor Ort.

Sehr leckeres Essen! Ich habe ein gemischtes Grillteller genommen, das super angerichtet war. Der Adana und das Lammkotelett waren der absolute Wahnsinn. Auch vom Ambiente sehr schön mit einer gemütlichen Atmosphäre. Der Service war auch top, alle nett und freundlich. Ich komme wieder!

Wir hatten ein halbes Hähnchen mit Pommes und Salat – alles war frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Der Service war überdurchschnittlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen kam zudem sehr schnell an den Tisch. Besonders gefallen hat uns die schöne Terrasse. Wir kommen gerne wieder! 😊

Wir waren mittlerweile schon mehrmals hier essen und fanden es jedes Mal super. Das Restaurant hat eine schöne Lage und besonders bei gutem Wetter ist es draußen richtig angenehm zu sitzen. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt und gemütlich. Das Essen war bisher immer sehr lecker, frisch und schön angerichtet. Auch der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam.

Eine unglaublich liebe Bedienung. Wirklich ganz ganz toller Service. Das einzige, was uns verbummelt hat, ist, dass es keinen Döner an dem Tag gab.

Drei Minuten Umweg, die sich gelohnt haben. Ich war schon seit morgens unterwegs und wollte dann endlich, um 13:00, etwas essen. Da kam es mir gelegen, dass der Navi die Alte Tanke als nächstes Ziel empfohlen hat. Nett gelegen, auf der einen Seite Landstraße auf der anderen ein Blick ins Grüne. Ich wurde freundlich empfangen und nach einem kurzen Blick in die Karte habe ich mich für ein Cordon Bleu entschieden. Vor dem Essen noch schnell die Toilette aufgesucht: Alles sauber! Nach dem Händewaschen habe ich allerdings den Eimer für das Papier vermisst. Das Essen kam dann schnell und neben Mayo und Ketchup gab es noch eine extra braune Sauce zum Cordon Bleu. Schön wäre ein, im Preis enthaltener, kleiner Beilagensalat gewesen. So habe ich, inkl. einer großen Apfelschorle, überschaubare 21,-€ bezahlt.

Wir waren jetzt das zweite mal hier und uns gefällt es sehr das essen schmeckt lecker und die mitarbeiter sind auch sehr freundlich ich kanns nur weiter empfehlen wir werden öfters hier her kommen 🙈🥰

Sehr lecker und gemütlich, die Terrasse im Sommer ist klasse. Kaltes Getränk und das halbe Hähnchen ein Muss! Sehr gut wir kommen gerne her.

Sehr leckeres Essen, kommen gerne und oft hierher. Vorallem bei Sonnenschein auf der neuen Terrasse hat man ein Urlaubsfeeling. Das Essen wird draußen an der Feuerstelle frisch zubereitet. Alles super.

War mit der Rentner Gruppe dort. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, alles neu renoviert und eingerichtet. Das Essen sensationell! Pommes aus frisch geschnittenen Kartoffeln, Fleisch vom Grill, der gemischte Beilagen Salat frisch, klein geschnitten und gemixt, die Salatsoße super abgeschmeckt. Döner reichlich gefüllt, Pizza ist guter Größe, das Hähnchen gut gewürzt und knusprig gebraten. Die Preise günstig. Habe selber als Koch gearbeitet und kann bestätigen, dass alles frisch und nichts aus der Tüte verarbeitet ist. GANZ GROßE KLASSE!

Wir waren in der Nähe und sind spontan hineingegangen, weil wir Hunger hatten. Die Bedienung war sehr schnell und ausgesprochen freundlich. Das Essen war gut. Wir haben drinnen gegessen, da wir im Winter dort waren. Es gibt eine große, wunderschöne Terrasse, die ideal ist, um im Sommer draußen zu essen. Wir kommen wieder.

Freundliche schnelle Bedienung. Gutes Essen, und reichliche Portionen. Angemessene Preise. Bequeme Stühle, alles neu eingerichtet. Lediglich die Beleuchtung ist etwas zu hell für meinen Geschmack, deshalb weniger Punkte für Atmosphäre. Das Licht könnte etwas mehr gedimmt oder "wärmer" / Gemütlicher sein. Sonst alles gut.

Very tasty food and very good service!

The delivery service/owner apparently lives on the same street as me. The speeds they drive are sometimes unbelievable (in a 30 km/h zone). This applies to both private vehicles and company cars. Personally, I find this behavior difficult to understand. If they adjust their driving, I'll gladly update my rating. The food is good. Regards

I picked up my food myself today after being told on the phone that delivery wasn't a great option. I ordered a mixed grill for two and an extra portion of fries. They charged me for the fries (€4.50), but didn't pack them. I only noticed this when I got home. With a tip of almost €4, it ended up being quite expensive. The food itself was okay.

What's become of the old gas station is truly sad. It used to be a charming, iconic meeting place – now it's a soulless kebab shop with exorbitant prices. The sausage salad tasted like it came straight from the refrigerated section, and the chicken was dry and bland. There was no trace of freshness or quality. The drinks only arrived when the food was already half-cold – that's not what I call service. It's a real shame what they've done to what was once a popular spot. I can no longer recommend it.

Unfortunately, it was completely unreliable. Despite having a reservation for 10 people, the manager treated us very condescendingly. He told us the entire interior was reserved for private parties. This was our last visit there.

Beef skewer for 19.90 euros!! Completely tough meat, no skewer, just a handful of cheap, fried goulash cubes. The spicy paste and onions were also missing. The flatbread wasn't great either, and the lettuce was flavorless, with tomatoes and greens. It could definitely be done much better. What a shame!!!!!!

The owner has changed. Nevertheless, it's very cozy to sit outside on the terrace, especially in summer. Parking is available right in front. The price-performance ratio is also okay. The portions are modest, but you'll be filling. The service is very friendly, and the food arrives quickly. We'd be happy to come back.

Our pizza speaks for itself – it's sloppy and greasy and barely has any toppings. The Hawaiian pizza had PAPRIKA LEYONER on it?!? Where does that come from?! We'll never order again!

I'm from Heilbronn and was in Balingen on business. I highly recommend stopping here! Super friendly staff and owner! I really enjoyed the delicious meat! The outdoor terrace and grill counter are fantastic! A definite 5 stars!

The order was placed via Lieferando. Instead of the stated 20-40 minutes, delivery took about 85 minutes. A special request for the pizza (a little doner sauce) was ignored. The food in the picture is the "Adana Kebab." Unfortunately, it lacked flavor and, in my opinion, a rather small portion for €19.90. The Funghi pizza for €12.90 tasted good, but it also had very few mushrooms.

We wanted to eat on the inviting terrace. The friendly but not very gastronomically experienced service staff were divided according to "tasks." This led to an unreasonably long wait despite the small number of guests. Some preparation methods, such as 1/2 chicken (grilled, fried, baked, breaded, etc.), could not be explained even by the chef we called over. The meat selection in the refrigerated display case looks great, but since they couldn't give us any more detailed information about the products, we left hungry.

Unfortunately it was taken over by a new owner, only Turkish cuisine and a kebab for 11€ is simply cheeky.

I've ordered the vegetarian kebab here twice. I'm totally fine if you forget something once, but the first time I ordered a kebab, they forgot the soft cheese, and this time they forgot the sauce and soft cheese, which unfortunately made the kebab dry. Otherwise, the food is actually good, it's just a shame when they promise people something they don't actually have.

We ordered, never again. A real restaurant is cheaper and the quality is worlds better.

The ambiance is really great. The food is okay, but some dishes are overpriced. I have to give a special mention to the salad and the salad dressing, which can finally be called salad dressing and isn't just made of doner sauce like in other Turkish restaurants. Unfortunately, the staff weren't very quick or attentive on either of our visits. However, everyone was friendly throughout.

I'm super confused because I expected a Swabian restaurant, but this one serves Turkish grilled skewers. The owner has probably changed, as the menus here on Google aren't accurate. Since the service was already disastrous to begin with and the exorbitant prices made us swallow, we moved on. So, I can't comment on the food.

Good food, especially the kebab (homemade) and the grilled meat, specifically chicken. The waitress Erika, a Spaniard, served us very kindly and attentively. She saved our lives!

We happened to be nearby today and went there spontaneously. The food was very good...Turkish specialties from the charcoal grill.

The atmosphere is good, but the food isn't worth mentioning. Especially not for the price, it's way too expensive (the cheapest meal: a doner kebab for €11?!). Any kebab shop is much better, both in terms of taste and price. If the service was at least good and took your order correctly, I would have put up with it, but unfortunately, you don't get what you order anyway (4 people and no one got what they wanted). Be it food or drinks (I ordered an export beer and got a wheat beer in half a jug?!). I wouldn't recommend it!

Two of us spontaneously went there for lunch today. It was very good. The atmosphere on the newly designed terrace is very cozy. The interior, especially the restrooms, are newly designed and very clean. The food (half a chicken with bread and a chicken skewer with fries) was delicious and tasted great! The meat on the chicken skewer was perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy. The chicken was super crispy and tender. Both dishes were beautifully presented. The staff is very polite and attentive. All around: TOP!

A nice day-trip restaurant with a busy beer garden, often resulting in limited parking. German-Turkish food is at the typical beer garden level.

Overall, it's great. It can happen that you get the wrong drink every now and then. But it's completely unacceptable that a mixed salad takes 15 minutes longer than two doner kebab plates, and the second drink doesn't arrive at all. So, I won't be returning anytime soon. It's a shame...

It was okay. I had a doner kebab with soft cheese. The meat was tasty, but the bread crust was unfortunately too thin, so it fell apart. There wasn't enough sauce, so everything was a bit dry. My colleague unfortunately had oversalted fries, but I tried them. Service was okay. The waitress was really helpful and friendly, she just had her hands full. The atmosphere isn't ideal, you can't really long for peace and quiet; it's right on the street, but that's okay.

Food was promised until 11 p.m. Arrived at 10:15 p.m., kitchen closed. The website said kitchen was open until midnight. Thanks, a waste of time. Never again. Unfortunately, you have to give it one star; otherwise, there wouldn't be any.

I went there and turned back, the times weren't kept, I arrived at 10:15 PM, and the kitchen was closed. So apparently, you can't rely on their word either...

They called specifically and received confirmation that the kitchen was to be open until midnight. At around 10 p.m., we were ignored for a while and saw that the grill and everything else was being cleaned, and then we had to wait another 10 minutes for the manager because of a phone call.

I love this shop because Coca-cola comes in ice. I loved the food and vegetables. The service is fast.

Newly renovated, great beer garden!

First, I had to wait half an hour for the waiter before I could order a drink. He said he'd bring the menu, and after three-quarters of an hour, I went to get it myself. When I finally ordered a large schnitzel, another half hour later, a small one arrived. Absolutely a thumbs down. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

We had a reservation once, but were ignored at the front desk and sat down ourselves. Later guests took their drinks and food first. We had to wait half an hour for the menu. Some of the food arrived incorrectly, and we had to wait at least 15 minutes for cutlery. The service was anything but great. Communication between the staff was nonexistent. We were very dissatisfied. The food itself wasn't bad, but we wouldn't come back again.👎👎👎

The two of us went to eat at the Alte Gaske (Old Gas Station). My food came right away, but my colleague had to wait a very long time – even when I was finished, he still didn't have his food. That's unacceptable. Very disappointing. As a result, we didn't order the second meal.

You have to experience something like this to be believed. I've never seen a restaurant where things were more haphazard and chaotic than here. This is experiential gastronomy...

This was our first time at the Alte Tanke and we were absolutely thrilled! The food was very good, and the service was friendly and attentive. What was especially nice was that our little girl got a free ice cream – a really nice gesture. We'd love to come back and highly recommend the Alte Tanke!

I picked something up for the first time today. I had chicken with fries and sauce. The chicken was perfect, the fries were a dream, only the salad was a bit watery. The kids had schnitzel with fries and sauce. The portion was normal, I can only say wow, those are decent portions. The taste was very good. My wife had the grilled platter. She said it tasted great. However, it could have been a bit juicier. But the service when we picked it up was top-notch. The price was amazing, and all in all, a great meal. We only have a 5-minute walk there, and we know that from now on, we'll leave the kitchen cold on Sundays and come to you. Thank you.

The food is excellent. The doner meat is the best I've had in this area so far, ultra-tender and very well seasoned. So far, I can highly recommend the doner kebab plate and the mixed grill plate. Service is still a bit chaotic when it's busy, but I'm sure that will improve over time.

The first drinks arrived quickly. After 30 minutes, I finally got the menu myself, despite asking repeatedly. I then had to order at the counter. The food (doner kebab) arrived after 45 minutes, every 15 minutes. Ordering another drink was impossible because no one came.

The old gas station has reopened and has new operators. We understand that things can be a little more chaotic in the initial phase. But what we experienced was anything but acceptable. We had reserved a table for 10 people outside on the terrace by phone. When we arrived there wasn't a single table left. We were told that other people had simply sat down at our reserved table and that there was nothing we could do about it and that we should sit in and have our drinks inside and that there would definitely be a free place by then. But we didn't want that & after a long back and forth we were finally able to take a seat because other guests had left. We still didn't have enough chairs and 10 of us had to squeeze into a table that was designed for 6 people. Once we ordered our drinks, it took some time for the drinks to arrive - but 3 drinks were missing. This was noted and then three drinks followed promptly, albeit the wrong ones. They were then taken away again and many minutes passed until the correct drinks arrived - the others had already finished theirs. And then the chaos continued with the food... 4 of us ordered a normal kebab plate. That came at some point too. Unfortunately, everyone else didn't receive anything... we asked several times and pointed this out. Another waitress kept coming and asked what was still missing. We probably had to say it 4 times. There was no apology from the owner of the restaurant but they tried to talk their way out of it because there was a lot going on. We later found out that the meat for the dishes we ordered was out and that we had to get the meat out of the freezer first. In the meantime, some people had ordered drinks that didn't come either. You had the feeling that no one had any plan anymore and the waiters seemed to avoid our table and didn't come at all. At some point one of us said that she no longer wanted her food and the answer from the operator was “yes, then not”. This is anything but customer friendly & I have never experienced anything like it. In the end a waitress was sent who then apologized to us, but there was no apology from the operator. The only thing we were offered was a glass of schnapps for each of us, which each of us declined. I will definitely avoid this place in the future. The taste of the food was okay, but nothing special.

The chaos also continued with the meal: out of ten dishes ordered, only four initially came. Again we had to point out our order several times. It seemed as if communication in the service team wasn't working at all - we were repeatedly asked what was still missing. After another long wait, we were finally informed that we had run out of meat for some dishes and that more had to be brought from the cold storage. At this point we had already been sitting for 1.5 hours - with no clear information, let alone an apology. It gave the impression that our table was deliberately avoided. After a total of two hours, the rest of the food finally arrived - which, to be fair, tasted good. The location and the ambience are also very appealing. Unfortunately, that alone cannot outweigh the disappointment about the process and the way we were treated. In the end we were given an apology - we thank you for that. We very much hope that the processes will work better in the future, because the potential is definitely there. Unfortunately, this visit was a very unsatisfactory experience for us.

Great team, very nice service. I deducted the star from the food because unfortunately there is no vegetarian dish apart from fries. Maybe my tip with the falafels can be implemented, then I'll be happy to come back. By the way, fries are great!!

Were there today and my husband ate a schnitzel platter. 800g meat and 300g pasta. He ate everything by himself. Always delicious there.

Tolle kleine Wirtschaft mit nettem Biergarten. Das Essen kam sehr schnell, war mega lecker und die Portionen sind reichlich. Ich bin ein guter Esser und esse oft was mein Schatz nicht schafft aber ich musste am Schluss doch kämpfen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und der Biergarten ist bei schönem Wetter sehr zu empfehlen. Wir hatten einmal Schnitzel mit Pommes und Salat sowie einmal Cordon Bleu mit Pommes und Salat was beides sehr zu empfehlen ist. Dazu wurde eine super leckere, hausgemachte Bratensoße gereicht. Gerne wieder.

Das Essen war sehr lecker & auch schön angerichtet. Der Biergarten hat uns auch gut gefallen. Allerdings war die Bedienung unfreundlich. Sie machte einen schmuddeligen und überforderten Eindruck.. Ansonsten hat uns das Ambiente sehr gut gefallen 👍🏻

Lecker Hähnchen mit Live-Musik.

Wer hier mit ein paar Getränken, Musik und sehr freundlichem Personal zufrieden ist, kann sich hier wohlfühlen. Doch gut essen ist eher nicht der Fall. Hamburger Petti zu trocken, pommes auch und das Öl wohl nicht mehr so frisch wie es sein sollte. 17,40€ für einen Chessburger mit einer kleinen Portion Pommes sollte super schmecken. Doch dieser Burger wäre natürlich 6 € Wert gewesen. Das Burgerbrotchen war super auch der Belag sn dich war gut. Aber das Fleisch war... Der Kartoffelsalat zu viel Essig. Die Bratensose war ordentlich mit Maggi gewürzt. Die Preise sind sehr Hoch. Kurz um geht hier nicht essen. Preisleistung beim Essen geht gar nicht.
