Zum Mohrenkopf in Kiel

Wir waren letztes Jahr im Herbst das erste Mal dort! Desaster! Wir haben 1 1/2 Std auf das Essen gewartet und bei zweien war dies versalzen! Aber kann ja mal passieren!!!! Dachten wir! Also haben wir gestern dem ganzen noch einmal eine Chance gegeben! Aber mit Sicherheit das letzte Mal!!!!!!!!!!!! Daß das Ambiente ein bisschen abgeranzt ist, würde mich normal nicht stören, wenn der Service und das Essen gut ist, aber ich musst leider auch das 2. Mal feststellen ,etwas schlechtes gibt es in Kiel nicht! Wir konnten relativ schnell bestellen ( super, da wir noch einen Termin hatten) Nach einer 1/2 Std wurde uns mitgeteilt das 2 von uns ,auf eine Samstagabend 18h Keine Pommes zum Essen bekommen, das sie aus waren!!!!!!!!!!! Ok!!!!! Nach einer weiteren 1/2 Std kamen dann diese beiden dann ihr Essen! TK Schnitzel TK Pilzsause ,einmal mit kalten öligen Bratkartoffeln, einmal mit TK Kroketten!!!!!! Der dritte bekam sein Essen als wir mit dem Essen fertig waren! Der musst dann Schlingen, da wir ja noch zu einer anderen Veranstaltung mussten! Auch das nachbestellen von Getränken war nicht möglich ,da beide Setvicekräfte es wichtiger fanden gelangweilt in Servietten rum zuzupfen ,oder hinter dem Tresen zustehen! Und nein! Wir waren NICHT alkoholisiert ,da das Argument oft als Gegenargumente für diese Kritik vom Mohrenkopf kommt! Anstatt etwas zu ändern beschimpft er seine Kunden! Schade!!!!!! Kritik könnte man auch zum psitiven nutzen um sich zu entwickeln , aber das wollen die vom Mohrenkopf Anscheinend nicht!

The table was pre-booked for 4 people. The restaurant wasn't full yet. It took a while until we got the menu and ordered the drinks. They came promptly. Our order was taken, okay so far. Then the service person came again and told us that someone should choose another meal because the one we wanted was no longer available. We did that with gritted teeth. Now it took time again. The food arrived little by little. By the time everyone had completed their order, the first side dishes were cold again...But it was tasty again??? Rather not.

Not the usual German Pub, but the real Germanic cuisine... and I guarantee that they have one... perhaps not as rich in dishes as ours but certainly worth taking into consideration for quality and richness. The characteristic restaurant, a bit like our "ancient" trattorias, is warm and welcoming and the expense for a fancy dinner was very low compared to other places considered mass-market. The service at the tables was excellent... to come back.

We have known this restaurant for many years and always enjoy going there. Even the service has been there for 15 years - always friendly, nice and courteous. Rarely has something not tasted as expected. However, a friend was actually unlucky .The sauce for the duck legs was too salty + the red cabbage didn't taste good at all. It's a shame! But the other 4 of us were, as always, very satisfied. The price-performance ratio is also okay. We'll be back gladly again.👍

The shop has become known through many reports in the media and was therefore a small highlight for me and worth the detour. Very tasty and something new apart from the usual stuff you get. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. 🙂! 10 out of 10

We had dinner there. We ordered two duck legs. The duck really smelled. After we spoke to the waitress, she told us that this is how the duck is prepared. We have eaten a lot of duck and in different ways but never anything like this!! Not recommended!

Wir waren am 26.12 mit der Familie zum Weihnachtsessen im Mohrenkopf. Gleich bei der Begrüßung wurde uns gesagt, dass es 2 Gerichte von 5 nicht mehr da ist. Statt Steinbeißer gäbe es Seelachs. Beim Dessert wäre eins von 3 anfänglich aus. Als wir dann beim Dessert angekommen waren, gab es nur noch eins. Preislich konnte man da aber auch nichts machen, da es ja ein Festpreis ist. Nach etwa 1,5 Stunden hatten wir dann tatsächlich unser Essen und nach über 3 Stunden waren wir dann tatsächlich fertig. Geschmacklich war das Essen gut, was dann auch alles an positiven Erlebnissen war. Der Service war unterirdisch und die Wartezeit unnormal lang. Der Chef unprganisiert und augenscheinlich überfordert. Einmal und nie wieder.

An absolute nightmare. Not recommended. We were at the Mohrenkopf on Boxing Day. When we received the menus we were not told that two dishes were already sold out and one was served with a different main component. We waited probably half an hour for our drinks and an hour for the appetizers. The main course came after an hour and 40 minutes. Not a single word of apology or warning that it might take a little longer. The food came at different times so one of us was already finished by the time the last of us got our food. Then the dessert was included in the first order but when it was our turn with the dessert two of the three options were already sold out. In the end everyone had to pay the full price, even though there was almost nothing left to choose from. Neither the service staff nor the owner himself (who was the chef that evening) offered an ounce of understanding or an apology for the fact that we were very dissatisfied after three hours. At that point it was no longer important to us that the food was delicious (although the fish was full of bones and the duck was too dry). Terrible service. Tables were not cleared and no questions were asked for additional drinks. I will definitely not recommend this restaurant.

Very bad. We reserved a table at 6 p.m. and had to wait outside until 6:10 p.m. They didn't tell us on the phone that you couldn't order from the menu but could only order the Christmas menu. And very rude staff

Very nice and good service. We each had half a duck with red cabbage and bread dumplings. The doneness of the duck couldn't be topped. The juicy meat literally fell off the bone and the sauce, the red cabbage and the bread dumplings were perfectly prepared. It doesn't get any better.

I've wanted to go to the Mohrenkopf for a long time. I had read and heard a lot about the owner. But to cut a long story short, I can't recommend the restaurant. The evening was bizarre from start to finish. We asked for a table for two and said we had to move on quickly. The Ostseehalle was waiting for us. We were given a place by the door to the toilet. The restaurant is completely worn out and worn out from front to back. This urgently needs to be completely renovated. Everything worn out and loveless. A stressed waitress took our order. The neighboring table warned of a long wait. And what followed was a long wait. After 45 minutes I asked "yes, the next dishes are going out soon" but it wasn't ours. After more than an hour, the question again was, "Yes, it's starting now" and after the drinks had been empty for over 45 minutes and we were completely ignored and no food came, we got dressed and wanted to pay for the drinks and leave. An uncomprehending waitress looked at us, looked into the kitchen and said, here's the food, it's starting now. OK, sit back down and wait. What came? Nothing, after 10 minutes the fried potatoes nothing else, then at some point the schnitzel and my Dutch oven. The last one was a horrible, gray mess. The fried potatoes were obviously not ready yet, only the schnitzel was good. We ate, paid and left the restaurant without saying a word or greeting. Or better yet, the restructuring case. There is an urgent need to invest in friendly staff, spatulas, paint and furniture. I haven't experienced such a run-down restaurant in years. Conclusion: Bizarre atmosphere from start to finish, service that is sometimes not very honest and really average food. So no recommendation at all. And I'm sorry because our expectations weren't even remotely met. No "it's taking longer to eat", no "sorry, we're so sorry", just a "do you want to eat this now or not?" There may be better days there, there are also good reviews, but for us it is the worst restaurant in Kiel today.

Basically, the restaurant “zum Mohrenkopf” is very friendly and the food is delicious. We booked our second Christmas party (the first was a few years ago) here for 10 people and pre-ordered our menu. We were called the day before to see if there were any changes and we found that very thoughtful. Everything was prepared for us on site so that we could feel comfortable - apart from the broken backrest on a bench. We were served in a friendly manner, but despite having ordered in advance, we had to wait almost an hour and then the food came in dribs and drabs. By the time the last person had something, the first person's food was already cold. Unfortunately, the entire dessert was forgotten to be passed on to the service (so we were told, we had also pre-ordered desserts), so after clearing away and our second round of drinks, we investigated on our own and still came away empty-handed. Unfortunately, we had a neighboring appointment, so we didn't get the chance to try out anything sweet. Too bad! As we left, it turned out that the place was full, there was another party there who were also sitting close to each other AND there was only ONE waitress besides one person at the drinks counter. She handled the service with as good a face as she could, but we definitely would have drank more AND eaten more if she had visited us more often and asked. Also a shame! Otherwise it's quite comfortable, a bit cramped, but tidy. The toilets are also clean. Due to the location in the city center, parking is rather difficult on the side streets or on the parade ground, so you have to walk a little.

Great shop, love the food and the owner is super cool

I went to this restaurant with my family on a Sunday at 5:30 p.m. The service seemed overwhelmed because of the full house. But not just that, as we then found out. The kitchen did not manage to prepare tables or even individual dishes in a timely manner. First there was the meat, followed by side dishes some time later. After a few questions, the filling side dish came too. This is also wrong. When I look at the reviews here, I wonder how anyone can give this 5 stars. Oh yes: before the owner accuses me of being drunk: I don't drink alcohol. I don't take drugs either. I am also mentally healthy. I will never be a guest here again and cannot recommend it.

Today my mother-in-law's birthday was to be celebrated with 8 people in the Mohrenkopf. We've heard a lot of good things. The website also looked promising. Admittedly, it was already packed at 5:30 p.m. However, we only got our food after 1 hour and 15 minutes. Three other tables had already finished eating and paid. The tables were already re-set when they started sending our food. In Hofbräuhaus style, only the main plates for three tables were delivered. After another 5 minutes, the first side dishes. The filling side dishes (some of which were taken incorrectly or assigned incorrectly) took another 5 minutes. Here the main plates with the meat and the sauce were only lukewarm (see photo). When we asked the waitress about it, she said succinctly that the duck doesn't get cold that quickly. Aha. In addition, I was "lucky" that I was able to eat my dish completely warm. Because my dish came a full 15 minutes after the others. By the way: the pepper pot is really quite spicy. It lives up to the name. When we were clearing away, the waitress responded to our criticism and cited a lack of staff in the kitchen as the reason. Now, however, I think that if you already know that you can't accommodate all guests when the house is full, you should reduce the number of tables. Unfortunately we won't be eating here again. Nevertheless, there was a lot of potential for a new local pub here. ANSWER to Mohrenkopf's comment: First of all, I am not MRS M.S. but MR M.S.. Then neither I nor anyone else in our company was drunk. In addition, the other guests showed their solidarity with us. They were just as uncomfortable as we were. Now, last but not least, it seems to be a ploy on your part to discredit criticizing guests. I would be happy to delete this addition and the second photo if you also correct your malicious allegation. Otherwise everything just stops and potential customers are forewarned. Have a nice evening anyway.

The food for our group was only brought after 1 hour and 15 minutes, unfortunately only in pieces, so the side dishes only arrived 15 minutes after the main part of the dish and therefore the dish was not complete. It has to be said that the food could have been good, but due to 3 wrong side dishes and an order that was only brought 40 minutes later after 3 requests, I can't recommend this restaurant. I think when it's empty it can give a different impression, but since no one said beforehand that there were problems, or that it would take longer, or apologized afterwards for the service or food, I won't be going there again .

Das Ambiente ist nichts besonderes. Es hat etwas den Charme eines Restaurants aus den 70er Jahren. Das Essen war sehr lecker, jedoch mit Verbesserungspotenzial. Ich hatte den Mohrenkopftop mit drei Sorten Filets. Das Hűhnchen und das Schwein waren sehr lecker und saftig. Leider war das Rind durch (well done) wodurch es etwas trocken und zäh war. Trotzdem werd ich das Restaurant bei Gelegenheit erneut besuchen um den Seglerteller zu probieren.

She served it to the table quite briskly, so that the food was almost next to the plate. There were no side dishes for my daughter and I's dishes. Not even a lettuce leaf with a tomato or anything. The meat was dry, the sauce was too salty, the schnitzel had no taste, but it was swimming in beetroot juice and on top of that there was a fried egg that wasn't ordered. Croquettes were left in the deep fryer for too long. The salad I ordered didn't come at all because it was simply forgotten. The waitress thought it was funny, my husband's birthday evening was over for us. With all due respect to the owner of this restaurant, THE MOHR FAILED ☹

Somehow we were very hungry. Well, to the Mohrenkopf, you don't know what to expect. Probably a grill with food that no one wants. Conclusion, it was a very special evening. It was just beautiful. I advise all tourists to stop here. It's a shame I don't live nearby. If the stay is called Kiel again, I'll dine at the Mohrenkopf.

Unfortunately, the restaurant has gone down a lot since last year. Our company Christmas dinner was an absolute failure where we waited about 1 hour for our drinks and 2 hours for the food (although only half of our employees received some). A year has now passed and we wanted to give the restaurant another chance. Unfortunately we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food today, without any explanation or apology from the service staff. A table that ordered 20 minutes after us received their food before us. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has also deteriorated. I ordered the duck in orange sauce. Unfortunately, the sauce was oversalted and somehow slimy (it pulled strings) and the duck was very dry. But the red cabbage was very tasty. All in all, a real shame. We won't be coming back again

Tried it out based on a tip: staff very friendly, very solid performance from the kitchen, it tasted very good and the portions were very plentiful. I would definitely go again!

We were in Kiel last week and had dinner there on both evenings. Even though the ambience isn't great and you have to be patient until you have something to eat, I can only recommend the restaurant. Those who cook here know their craft. Both fish and meat were cooked to perfection, the sauces were wonderfully creamy and very tasty. And even all the side dishes were homemade - respect in this day and age! Keep it up. You'll definitely see me again on my next visit to Kiel.

Unser Besuch am ganz frühen Abend war ein Desaster. Getränke: Bitte nocht nicht bestellen! Das war die Ausage nach ca. 20 Minuten Wartezeit. Nach 45 Minuten hatten wir dann endlich Getränke und Vorspeisen. Den Hauptgang erhielten wir nach 90 Minuten!!! Stammkunden, nach uns gekommen, wurden vorher bedient. Bedient waren wir dann auch und hatten nur noch eines im Sinn: Raus hier. Das Essen war höchstens Mittelmaß; einen weiteren Besuch von uns wird es nicht mehr geben.

The service was very friendly and quick, even though she had to take care of the shop alone. We were there early in the evening and it was still pleasantly empty. The Cards arrived after 1 minute, Drinks 6 minutes after ordering, Starter after 25 minutes and meal after 46 minutes. We enjoyed it and would love to come back.

Solid selection of dishes - mostly classics based on fish and meat - completely sufficient. The portions were decent and the food was very well prepared. The service had no problem with small special requests and was relaxed and friendly when dealing with children. You feel comfortable and well looked after.

Das Essen war Super. Die Kutterscholle und auch die Seglerpfanne waren aller erste Sahne. Der gemischte Salat mit Putenfleisch stand zwar nur noch in der kleinen Variante auf der Speisekarte, wurde auf unseren Wunsch aber in groß serviert und vor lauter Putenfleisch, sah man den Salat nicht mehr.

I would like to say that the food tasted extremely good. The quality of the vegetables and fish seemed very fresh overall. I didn't have to season anything - it was perfect! The long wait was definitely worth it, but not for the impatient. We will be back.

It's been a long time since I stepped into such a time capsule, the place was so 90s I almost felt homesick. The welcome when you entered was almost non-existent, but you then learned that you could take a seat wherever you wanted. The food took a long time to arrive, probably approx. 40 min with a half-empty restaurant. Very rough serving, the meat had gotten so it was dead anyway. The sauce was a little too salty, and I'm quite happy with salt. The portion was large and filled even a full-grown man, but it brought memories of a bygone era to the whole experience.

A very nice little shop with good food. The tomato cream soup in particular is very tasty and excellently seasoned - I can only recommend it as a starter. For the main course I had the Mohrenkopf pot. The only thing I personally would have liked better is if the vegetables were more tender. But this is just my personal taste.

The Holsteiner schnitzel was very tasty. The portion is enough for two. The service was very friendly. Is highly recommended

I went to the restaurant specifically for the Labskaus, but unfortunately it wasn't available, which is why I wanted to leave again, but thank God I stayed and was satisfied and full later. There were enough free places, reception and service friendly and “Nordic” direct. The furnishings and ambience are very traditional, but they also fit well with the menu and I really liked the overall concept. Overall it was very quiet and relaxed in the restaurant, even if the tables were very narrow. On a crowded evening it probably won't be that comfortable. Had a salad beforehand and the sailing pan. Good salad, tasty dressing. The sailing pan comes in a hot cast iron serving pan and tasted amazing! The fish was super fried, the fried potatoes were on point and the vegetables were crisp and fresh. Plus a delicious sauce, TOP. I think the prices are very fair considering the location in the city center and the large portions, you can tell the food is freshly cooked here. The waiting time wasn't long, but that may have been because there wasn't too much going on. On my next visit to Kiel there might be the Labskaus, but either way I'll come back.

The restaurant is really highly recommended. P.S: I'm surprised the left isn't upset about the name....😉

Very tasty home cooking. You have to expect a slightly longer wait, but the quality of the food definitely makes up for it.

We had personally ordered a table with our name and telephone number. When we showed up for the appointment, nothing had been entered in the book and no table had been reserved. This was supposed to be a nice end to Kiel, but it wasn't and we left very disappointed. You can't treat guests like that. We're disappointed.

Five of us ate there. At first we were a bit skeptical about the reviews we had already made, but we wanted to see for ourselves. We were the first in the restaurant with a reservation. The service therefore worked very well and quickly. The drinks came quickly and the starter arrived after about 15 minutes and the main course after about 30-40 more minutes. Okay, because the restaurant was filling up more and more. Time flew by with good conversations. Both the starter and the main course were really delicious. Okay, the vegetables in the pan could definitely have cooked for 3-5 minutes longer, but everything else was really great. The ambience is, as often described, a bit rustic, but perfectly fine. Only the old-fashioned music takes some getting used to. You could add a different touch to the restaurant with more modern music. We were very satisfied.

Habe noch nie erlebt, dass sich ein Restaurant so schnell füllt. Waren vor einer Veranstaltung in der Wunderino Arena dort essen. Hatten das Glück, dass wir zu den ersten gehörten, die bestellten und bekamen unser Essen und die Getränke einigermaßen schnell. Das Essen war okay, mehr aber leider nicht. Das Lokal ist ziemlich dicht gestuhlt und so ist nicht viel Platz zum Durchgehen. Hat man einen Platz, der zur Toilette führt oder an dem die Bedienung viel vorbei muss, ist es nicht gemütlich. Der Platz an der Wand war etwas kalt und zugig. Würde dieses Restaurant nicht erneut besuchen.

We went to the Ehrlich Brother in Kiel yesterday and chose this restaurant because it was well rated and very close to the arena. The service woman was very nice and calm, that was almost all. I can't understand other reviews about fried potatoes and slightly longer waiting times! So we had to wait 35 minutes for our drinks and a total of 80 minutes for the food. The salmon gratin was good, as was the schnitzel, but the canned mushrooms in the onion salad and the wobbly and marked fried potatoes were a joke! The prices are ok, we had to gobble up quickly and leave a lot behind because we had to go to the arena because we've never had to wait that long in our lives and I've seen places that were at least 10 times as full because this place is definitely the only one 10 tables. You even have to wait longer for the bill. So if you want to eat comfortably for a nice evening in the arena, you should look for something else or sit there at 5 p.m. I'm still annoyed today because it affected my evening a little and I'm a person who doesn't like to throw away food and when I go out to eat in a restaurant I want to feel good for my money. So for us it was a unique thing!!!

Hello Went to the restaurant yesterday. The food was delicious, unfortunately we had to wait almost an hour and the service staff was a bit overwhelmed, but was also completely alone.

Super delicious food for a very fair price. The slightly longer wait is worth it (approx. 30 minutes at lunch). Everything was hot, fresh and cooked to perfection. And the pepper pot is spicy, but deliciously spicy. An experience. You can buy the pepper afterwards. We did. And we'll definitely be back!!

We had lunch with 4 people. The service was very attentive and friendly. The quality of the food was very good, the vegetables still had a slight bite and the fried potatoes were super tasty. We would like to come again.

Quaint, cozy, delicious! In the evening we were supposed to go to Torsten Sträter the old jacket, but first we needed an excellently prepared meal, so we stopped at the Mohrenkopf. Ok, now seriously... :-) I had reserved the table for 2 3 weeks before (for 5:30 p.m.) and that was a good thing. Around 5:45 p.m., guests without reservations arrived and were regretfully turned away. The restaurant seems to be very popular in Kiel... and we quickly realized why. In the restaurant there was one waitress responsible for all guests and she had everything under control (unfortunately you don't see that often these days). After about 30 minutes our food was on the table and it was good. Good home cooking, obviously fresh ingredients, well seasoned, extremely reasonable prices and very tasty. When we are back in Kiel, we will definitely come back!

Uncomfortable, having to sit in a niche at the entrance meant constant cold air when the door was opened. The fried potatoes were mushy and the fillet tips in the pepper pot were fried to death. Everything seemed like it had been warmed up from lunch. A sorry from the staff isn't enough, we were very disappointed 😞

Telefonisch für Silvester reserviert. Leider hat man mir nicht mitgeteilt, das es eine Silvester Karte gibt. Die Auswahl war leider sehr Fleisch -und Lachslastig. Die Portionen am Nachbartisch sahen sehr übersichtlich aus, die Beilagen kamen nicht zeitgleich an den Tisch. Auch die Wartezeiten waren sehr groß, wir mussten über 30min warten, bis die Bedienung mal an den Tisch kam. Auf Grund vieler Probleme und der hohen Wartezeiten sind wir gegangen. Die Bedienung tat mir leid, sie war für das ganze Lokal alleine zuständig

Wir sind leider sehr enttäuscht! 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag, Restaurant voll. Eventuell auch Personalmangel, wir haben für vieles Verständnis! Doch das so toll beschriebene Weihnachtsmenü für 38,50€ pro Person war nicht mal mittelmäßig gut. Vorher habe ich mich 2x telefonisch vergewissert, ob es auch vegetarische Gerichte geben wird. Man sagte mir, es gäbe dann 2 Gerichte zur Auswahl. Wir waren 17:30 da, mit 7 Personen, 3 davon Vegetarier, fragten nach den vegetarischen Gerichten und bekamen nur staunende Blicke zurück. Das Einzige was angeboten werden konnte, war ein Gemüsegratin. Für eine Person wurden immerhin noch Spätzle mit Soße zubereitet. Für 17:30 hatten wir unseren Tisch und sind erst gegen 22:00 aus dem Restaurant raus, weil alles so lange gedauert hat. Nun zu den anderen weihnachtlichen Menüessen: 1. zb winterlicher Salat mit Gravedlachs. 17:30 war bereits der Lachs schon ausverkauft. Kein Preisnachlass. Der Salat…eine traurige Erscheinung auf dem Teller… 2. Auf den Hauptgang mussten wir ewig warten. Dann kam es auch nicht mal für alle Personen einigermaßen zeitgleich. Man musste noch länger auf die Beilagen! warten. 3. Mein Aperol Spritz war fad, da hat man wohl den letzten Schluck Prosecco aus der Flasche verwertet, die schon seit Tagen angebrochen rumstand. Musste mir am Tresen einen neuen besorgen. 4. Ich hatte Fisch mit Reis, der Reis hat angebrannt gerochen und geschmeckt. Ließ ihn zurückgehen, bekam aber keinen Ersatz. 5. Das Dessert wurde offensichtlich vergessen, wurden zwar noch gefragt, ob wir dieses schon bestellt hätten, jedoch wurde es nicht serviert. Nach einer Stunde bin ich wieder nach vorne und habe höflich nachgefragt. Was dann serviert wurde…u.a die gebackenne Apfelringe mit Vanilleeis und Soße. Totaler Reinfall, hätte heißen sollen: im Kroketten und Pommesfett frittierter Teig mit etwas Apfel drin…. Achja und es wurde zwischenzeitlich noch die Bedienung für unseren Tisch nach Hause geschickt, weil sie wohl zu aufmüpfig war…vielleicht hat sie auf die Missstände aufmerksam gemacht und konnte so nicht weiterarbeiten? 6. Zum Schluss bestellte Getränke kamen auch nicht mehr…wir haben uns dann Wasser aus dem Wasserhahn im Klo geholt! Zumindest kam man uns preislich bei den vegetarischen Gerichten etwas entgegen. Das Personal war einigermaßen bemüht und blieb freundlich, trotz unserer Bemängelungen. Ich würde vorschlagen, das Restaurant macht besser Betriebsferien während der Feiertage, da der Betreiber offenbar überfordert ist! Schade! Wir waren das erste und letzte Mal in diesem Restaurant essen.

Ein wirklich gemütliches, kleines Restaurant. Wir waren mit dem Kiel Buch Gutschein dort, es gab ein vorgeschriebenes Gericht, Schnitzel Holsteiner Art. Laut Gutscheinbuch sollte es für 2 Portionen 14,90 Euro kosten, tatsächlich waren es dann 18,50 Euro🤔🤔, da sich der Verlag verdruckt hat🤔🤔War aber egal, das Essen war seinen Preis auf jedem Fall wert. Parkmöglichkeiten sind im Umkreis vorhanden. Das Essen kam innerhalb von 30 Minuten, frisches, leckeres Essen braucht nunmal seine Zeit. Wir kommen gerne wieder👍👍👍… Nachtrag vom 25.12.2023… Wir sind wiedergekommen, diesmal mit einer kleine Gesellschaft von 6 Personen. Es gab eine Weihnachtskarte, man konnte aus einer kleinen Auswahl sich ein Menü aus Vorspeise, Hauptgericht und Nachtisch zusammenstellen. Die Auswahl war gut und für jeden war etwas dabei. Dann spürten wir leider das erste Problem, die Bedienung war extrem langsam, selbst die Getränke kamen nach einer gefühlten Ewigkeit und auch nicht zur selben Zeit, zuerst das alkoholfreie Weizen und weiter 5 Minuten später die Apfelschorlen. Die Vorsuppe kam ca. 20 Minuten nach der Bestellung und war sehr lecker. Aber das Hauptgericht brauchte weitere 30 Minuten und bis alles auf unserem Tisch war, Kroketten, Rotkohl usw., vergingen weitere 10 Minuten, sodass die Gerichte bereits kalt waren. Das Essen war lecker und auch reichlich, aber auch nichts Besonderes. Der Nachtisch kam dann in angemessener Zeit nach dem Hauptgericht. Es sollte ein gemütliches Weihnachtsessen werden, aber wenn man schon mitbekommt wenn am Nebentisch gemeckert und besonders auch unsere Gäste unzufrieden waren, ist die Gemütlichkeit leider meilenweit entfernt, sodass wir das Restaurant Zum Mohrenkopf weder weiterempfehlen können, noch erneut besuchen werden. Die Sterne aus unserer ersten Bewertung haben wir reduziert.

Weihnachten 2023. Das erste und letzte Mal da gewesen! Essen ok. Wartezeit absolut inakzeptabel! 9 Personen am Tisch. Bis der letzte sein Gericht bekommen hat waren die ersten 6 schon fertig. Das ging dann durch alle Gerichte so weiter. Insgesamt waren wir 4 std vor Ort und nicht weil wir so lange gesessen haben sondern weil das Essen nicht zeitgleich kam. Irgendwas fehlte immer! Besteck, Getränke, usw auch an den anderen Tischen war es nicht anders. Die Rechnung war allerdings nach ungelogen 2min da. Wenigstens etwas was funktioniert. Sorry nicht zu empfehlen.

Sehr leckeres frisch zubereitetes Essen. Seglerpfanne empfehlenswert. Zuvorkommender Service.

Dezember 2023 Als Familie waren wir am 1. Advent erneut im Restaurant. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Gerichte waren wieder richtig schmackhaft und optimal zubereitet. Das Nachtisch-Küchlein ein sehr schöner Abschluß :) Die Mitarbeiterin war sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Vielen Dank! Juni 2023 In sehr netter Atmosphäre haben wir gestern einen schönen Abend verbracht. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, der Mitarbeiter war sehr aufmerksam und das Essen war auch ausgezeichnet. Wir waren das erste Mal hier. Uns wurde der Tisch nicht gezeigt sondern sehr umständlich beschrieben. Die lange Wartezeit hatten wir bereits vorher gelesen und uns somit genug Zeit eingeplant. Das fanden wir nicht schlimm. Komisch war, dass an beiden Nachbartischen (jeweils 2 Personen) das zweite Gericht mindestens 5 Minuten nach dem ersten kam. Das Essen hat uns gut geschmeckt, uns persönlich waren die Portionen etwas zu klein. Wir hatten uns vorab die Karte auf der Website angesehen und auf das leckere Dessert gefreut. Leider war die Karte vor Ort deutlich kleiner, da sie aktualisiert wurde. Es gab nur zwei Desserts, die uns nicht angesprochen haben. Somit haben wir nur zwei Hauptgerichte gegessen. Der Preis war gut.☺️

Leider mussten auch wir sehr lange auf das Essen warten (über 60 Minuten). Ein Gericht kam noch später, dafür gab es als Entschuldigung ein Getränk frei. Bier hat auch etwas gedauert, offenbar musste die Bedienung (sie war alleine) neben Bestellung aufnehmen und bedienen auch noch zapfen, insofern kein wundern. Die Bedienung war teotz allem sehr freundlich. Das Essen hätte wärmer sein können, war aber sehr gut. Bei 5 Personen hat es 4 sehr gut geschmeckt und 1 Gericht war nicht so gut. Also eine gute Quote, wenn man Zeit mitbringt ein tolles Lokal

Einfache, gute Stube und wunderbare Küche. Freundliches Personal, welches Gäste auch noch recht spät herzlich empfängt. Gerne wieder.

Hervorragend. Etwas lange Wartezeit, aber gutes Essen dauert halt! Toller Chef! Weiter so!
