Bambule in Kiel

I was in Kiel for two weeks for assembly work. That's where I found the place and I really liked it. The food prices and portions were good. I ate there every day while I was in Kiel.

I was on assembly in Kiel. We came to the pub simply because it was very close to our accommodation. The price/performance ratio was completely justified! Lots of choice! The service was friendly and the location was a bit quaint but very well done. The food was varied and home-cooked. You have to try it!

It was quite nice, the staff were friendly, the food was good, and the prices were fair. I would go back on my next visit to Kiel.

The people are nice, but lately the food hasn't tasted good anymore, for example the pizza, the salami tasted of nothing, the pepperoni wasn't spicy, none of it tasted good, the chef must notice, he works in the kitchen without gloves, it's so disgusting, bambule used to be good, I liked eating there, yesterday was the very last time I'll be getting something for myself and my colleagues. Yes. We're always greeted warmly. Various table options. Outdoor seating under umbrellas and in the greenery. Affordable, good lunch. A varied menu. A relaxed atmosphere. We always feel comfortable there.

Discovered a new favorite! A cult spot with quaint furniture. The food is delicious...fresh, top quality! It's cozy here for couples or families with dogs...

For four people, we had three delicious pizzas and a perfect gyro plate, along with fresh drinks. Satisfied diners at a reasonable price were the result. The chef himself served friendly and quickly. We sat outside in the sunny weather and enjoyed the quiet life away from the Kiel Week.

The new sign with the white dove of peace and the olive branch is a really nice idea. I often get something there, but since the dealers stand right outside the door from morning to night and now consider a wooden bench they bring with them their quarters, I've been feeling a bit uneasy. Blue bags they bring with them are disguised as trash and are supposed to look inconspicuous on the side of the road, serving as a depot from which the units are then fished out. Unfortunately, when you sit in the bar and look out the window, that's ALL you see.

Went there with family yesterday and were looking forward to the usual delicious food! Great that it was possible to give us a table that was actually reserved!!! Ordered grilled plates and schnitzel. Unfortunately the Giros was so dry that you could break it. The pork steak was badly burned. Not edible! I told the waitress and our plates were taken away and they said, "You'll get it remade!" I myself had eaten 2 minced meat rolls from the plate and my wife had some fries and some Giros. We wouldn't eat more from the plate! The waitress then brought us new food very quickly, but as the waitress said: "Here, please, in a slimmed-down form. So we got a small plate with what we had ordered. We found the kitchen's mistakes, the waiting again and then not even giving out the food as it was ordered (€20) per meal underground! I wouldn't have thought it would be that way from the Bambule. We don't know yet whether we'll come back again. It's a real shame. We were looking forward to a nice evening, but unfortunately we were disappointed.

Regular guest since 1982 and still enthusiastic. For me it is a constant in Kiel's gastronomy. The food is good, the price-performance ratio is very good, the ambience is like 40 years ago, the service is top, the crowd is mixed. So a very clear recommendation.

A real insider tip! We were given a voucher and otherwise would never have thought of eating there. We were really positively surprised. The food was a poem and the prices were amazing. A super cozy atmosphere (which you would never expect given the location) and very friendly staff. We'll definitely come more often. If there were 10 stars, I would also give this 10 stars. If this shop were located in the city on Holtenauer Strasse, you would definitely have to wait 3 weeks for a table reservation.

An absolute favorite in Kiel. My parents came here to follow me 25 years ago. In summer there is also a very cozy beer garden at the back. The servers are always friendly and well informed. I've never been dissatisfied.

The first disappointment was that there is no longer a smoking area. We had kale and turnip puree with cooked sausage, smoked pork and pork cheek. Unfortunately, the taste wasn't ours at all. Know it better. The best was the pork cheek and the cooked sausage. The service was very nice and attentive!!

It's been a long time since I've eaten there again today. Basic German cuisine (kale platter €21.90) The environment is of course anything but inviting and clean. The food (kale platter €21.90) was so bad, prices are way too high. Unfortunately, not even one came during the entire stay a waitress comes to the table to ask if you would like anything else. The 4 of us were present for over 2 hours and always had to draw attention to ourselves. We left a lot of money and will NOT be coming back.

For me, the Bambule is an institution in Kiel. Even as a student in the late 80s, I ate here from time to time because it was affordable and tasty. Nothing has changed to this day. It's nice that it still retains its spontaneous charm. And the menu doesn't seem to have changed either. The food is still very tasty, the prices are fair and the service is friendly. We actually come here far too rarely.

The food is always fresh thanks to the changing menu. The Bambule is a veteran of the Kiel gastronomy industry. 15 years ago, 7 years ago or now. The quality of the dishes is consistently good. You can always rely on a solid meal, prices are more than fair, even after Corona where everything has become more expensive. I look forward to the next visit.

Not only one of the oldest, if not the oldest pub in Kiel along with Club 68. Although pub doesn't describe it correctly, this place is already cult. It's really impossible not to feel comfortable there. The entire gastronomy is great. Food and drink at its best and all at affordable prices. Almost like my living room, if only it weren't so crowded, but that's exactly what the Bambule is all about. A shop full of nice people.

No more chance! We ordered baked potatoes, broccoli, casseroles and pizzas The pizzas were okay The baked potatoes with turkey strips were a smooth 6. One half of the potato was rock hard so you couldn't eat it, the turkey strips that went with it were completely burnt! The broccoli casserole actually comes with homemade bread, which we didn't get because there wasn't any left, which in my opinion should have been mentioned when ordering We have been to this store several times, according to tradition, but today was definitely the last visit. 41 € wasted!
