Nice trendy restaurant in the east of Kiel-Gaarden.

Went there with family yesterday and were looking forward to the usual delicious food! Great that it was possible to give us a table that was actually reserved!!! Ordered grilled plates and schnitzel. Unfortunately the Giros was so dry that you could break it. The pork steak was badly burned. Not edible! I told the waitress and our plates were taken away and they said, "You'll get it remade!" I myself had eaten 2 minced meat rolls from the plate and my wife had some fries and some Giros. We wouldn't eat more from the plate! The waitress then brought us new food very quickly, but as the waitress said: "Here, please, in a slimmed-down form. So we got a small plate with what we had ordered. We found the kitchen's mistakes, the waiting again and then not even giving out the food as it was ordered (€20) per meal underground! I wouldn't have thought it would be that way from the Bambule. We don't know yet whether we'll come back again. It's a real shame. We were looking forward to a nice evening, but unfortunately we were disappointed.

Regular guest since 1982 and still enthusiastic. For me it is a constant in Kiel's gastronomy. The food is good, the price-performance ratio is very good, the ambience is like 40 years ago, the service is top, the crowd is mixed. So a very clear recommendation.

A real insider tip! We were given a voucher and otherwise would never have thought of eating there. We were really positively surprised. The food was a poem and the prices were amazing. A super cozy atmosphere (which you would never expect given the location) and very friendly staff. We'll definitely come more often. If there were 10 stars, I would also give this 10 stars. If this shop were located in the city on Holtenauer Strasse, you would definitely have to wait 3 weeks for a table reservation.

Food very good and inexpensive. Staff friendly. Toilets need renovation. The bench was sandy; apparently a dog had been lying there. Furniture outdated.

An absolute favorite in Kiel. My parents came here to follow me 25 years ago. In summer there is also a very cozy beer garden at the back. The servers are always friendly and well informed. I've never been dissatisfied.

Always delicious food. One of the few places that still makes the good old Kiel student pizzas. I also like the memories of Henry Vahl, who lived in this house in his youth.

The first disappointment was that there is no longer a smoking area. We had kale and turnip puree with cooked sausage, smoked pork and pork cheek. Unfortunately, the taste wasn't ours at all. Know it better. The best was the pork cheek and the cooked sausage. The service was very nice and attentive!!

Delicious food in a nice atmosphere

It's been a long time since I've eaten there again today. Basic German cuisine (kale platter €21.90) The environment is of course anything but inviting and clean. The food (kale platter €21.90) was so bad, prices are way too high. Unfortunately, not even one came during the entire stay a waitress comes to the table to ask if you would like anything else. The 4 of us were present for over 2 hours and always had to draw attention to ourselves. We left a lot of money and will NOT be coming back.

For me, the Bambule is an institution in Kiel. Even as a student in the late 80s, I ate here from time to time because it was affordable and tasty. Nothing has changed to this day. It's nice that it still retains its spontaneous charm. And the menu doesn't seem to have changed either. The food is still very tasty, the prices are fair and the service is friendly. We actually come here far too rarely.

The food is always fresh thanks to the changing menu. The Bambule is a veteran of the Kiel gastronomy industry. 15 years ago, 7 years ago or now. The quality of the dishes is consistently good. You can always rely on a solid meal, prices are more than fair, even after Corona where everything has become more expensive. I look forward to the next visit.

Not only one of the oldest, if not the oldest pub in Kiel along with Club 68. Although pub doesn't describe it correctly, this place is already cult. It's really impossible not to feel comfortable there. The entire gastronomy is great. Food and drink at its best and all at affordable prices. Almost like my living room, if only it weren't so crowded, but that's exactly what the Bambule is all about. A shop full of nice people.

No more chance! We ordered baked potatoes, broccoli, casseroles and pizzas The pizzas were okay The baked potatoes with turkey strips were a smooth 6. One half of the potato was rock hard so you couldn't eat it, the turkey strips that went with it were completely burnt! The broccoli casserole actually comes with homemade bread, which we didn't get because there wasn't any left, which in my opinion should have been mentioned when ordering We have been to this store several times, according to tradition, but today was definitely the last visit. 41 € wasted!

If you don't let the surroundings put you off, you'll find a very cozy, beautiful restaurant in Bambule. Our food was once great and once flop. Top: Hamburger Schnitzel with fried potatoes, can be recommended without reservation. Flop: pork gyros. The gyros had a strong flavoring that didn't go well with it at all. Very friendly and attentive service. We'll definitely be back.

IMPORTANT first: If you are looking for a gourmet temple where the chef de cuisine lovingly selects high-quality ingredients from the market before his shift, you should go somewhere else. As everywhere else, the food depends a little on the cook and the refrigerator compartment, you're usually lucky, rarely unlucky, but overall it's really okay to good. +++ If you really insist on fresh food, I recommend the Margherita pizza, because it's always fresh from the oven! +++ And you absolutely can't go wrong with a Margherita plus wheat (non-alcoholic). The family atmosphere is particularly wonderful. If you're looking for a rustic pub with the right atmosphere, you've come to the right place, which is also due to the owner. When the wooden door at the entrance swings back violently as I enter, the floor beneath me begins to creak and the satisfied guests look at me while they puff on their cigarettes, I disappear from everyday life for an hour. When the weather is nice, the beer garden invites you to stretch your legs under the table. It doesn't matter who you come here with - it's always a good fit! I've celebrated birthdays here, dated women, worked on my laptop or just let my thoughts drift. BAMBULE ALWAYS WORKS!

I recently went to Bambule for the first time and was really impressed by the nice atmosphere. Even though it was a Tuesday, the Bambule was well attended. The service staff was great: very friendly and attentive. It was great fun! The meal was okay. The children's pizza was very well received; our flatbread was also delicious. So, we recommend the Bambule!

I'm super disappointed. Was already there 3 times. But yesterday's meal was completely wrong and the price was super cheeky. 2 x bambule plates for 19 euros. There were 3 small pieces of pork on it, it seemed to us as if the broccoli had come from the freezer. Hollandaise sauce like water, nothing creamy. We got new hollandaise sauce upon request. The waitress then offered us short ones. No thanks. All 3 meals were not worth their prices. Was there a change of ownership? No longer recommended. A pity!!!

Naja gut.. Ist halt so eine Eck-Kneipe mit Essen. Ich würde das nicht mal Restaurant nennen. Das Essen ist ganz passabel. Der Service sehr träge.

Ich war mit der Familie am 1.Weihnachtstag dort zum Essen.Ich hatte Schnitzel mit Jäger Soße und Tomatenreis.Die Jäger Soße war total versalzen ich hatte meine Cousine gebeten zu probieren auch sie Bestätigte es.Darauf haben wir die Kellnerin drauf hingewiesen.Sie sagte und jetzt was sollen wir machen? Ich hätte gerne eine andere Soße darauf hin bekam ich nur eine neue Soße in einem kleinen Gefäß völlig okay.Aber das Schnitzel blieb auf der Soße liegen.Da habe ich die Kellnerin gebeten mir einen neuen Teller zu bringen.Sie gab nur wieder willig den Teller der viel zu klein war für das Schnitzel und dem Tomatenreis.Ich war die ganze Zeit höflich. Das Preis - Leistung Verhältnis ist völlig okay.Trotz der versalzen Soße und dem nicht so guten Service habe ich Trinkgeld gegeben.

Sehr guter Service und echt nette Mitarbeiter. Das Ambiente ist auch echt mega das Restaurant ist echt schön und wir haben für drei Personen 56 Euro bezahlt. Das Essen war im Grundprinzip auch echt lecker nur das Lamm war nicht nach meinem Geschmack, aber jeder hat auch ein anderen Geschmack daher sag ich da nix gegen. Das Restaurant kann ich echt weiter empfehlen und ist auch echt lecker das Essen.

Das Essen ist gut , leider zu kleine Portionen ( bei einigen Gerichten ) ! Hatte da wohl richtig Hunger 😉 Bin aber trotzdem gerne da ! So nun muß ich nochmal schreiben : Bin kein Stammkunde , aber im Jahr mehrmals da ! Das Essen ist in all der Zeit immer gut gewesen , Bedienungen auch sehr freundlich ! Vorgestern da gewesen und Bambule - Pfanne war super lecker ! Und die Preise sind bezahlbar ! Auch Grünkohl ist sehr lecker !

‼️Bambule ist ein MUSS für jeden Kieler‼️ Die bambule ist sehr (einfach) gemütlich, der Biergarten gibt dir das Gefühl beim Nachbarn oder bei einem Familien Feier zu sein. Klein gemütlich schlicht. ( und das meine ich wirklich positiv) Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und aufmerksam, auch hier entsteht wieder das familiäre gefühlt. In der bambule triffst du deinen Taxifahrer aber auch deinen Bänker 😊 Wir lieben es dort wie man vielleicht vermuten kann🤫 Das Essen....sowas von lecker und reichlich. Man schmeckt richtig das der Koch Erfahrung, Leidenschaft und Spaß am Kochen hat. Wir sind mindestens 2 mal im Monat da und würden am liebsten noch öfter dort essen. Also wirklich, keine Angst davor das der Laden in Gaarden ist.... Testet es und ihr werdet es lieben wie wir es tun 🥳

Essen gehe ich da nicht, Getränke viel zu teuer!!

Die Qualität des Essens im Restaurant Bambule in Kiel entsprach leider nicht unseren Erwartungen. Sowohl geschmacklich als auch hinsichtlich der Zubereitung ließ die Speisenqualität zu wünschen übrig. Der Service erwies sich ebenfalls als enttäuschend, da wir auf eine angemessene Bedienung und Aufmerksamkeit lange warten mussten. Insgesamt war der Besuch keine zufriedenstellende gastronomische Erfahrung. Ganz besonders hervorzuheben ist der Fakt, dass das Bier abgestanden schmeckte und die Kohlensäure gänzlich auf sich warten ließ.

Seit über 30 Jahren absolutes Lieblingslokal. Super freundlicher Service incl Betreiber. Die sehr umfangreiche Menükarte und bestes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältniss läßt und immer wieder gerne einkehren. 👍👍
