Wir sind spontan vorbei gegangen und haben noch einen schönen Platz bekommen. Wir hatten Schweinebraten und Schweinefilet und es war total gut. Eine ordentliche Portion. Der Braten schön resch und das Filet schön weich. Wir werden wieder kommen wenn wir die schöne Stadt München wieder besuchen.

Ein echter Geheimtipp: ein typisches Restaurant für Einheimische. Köstliches Essen, faire Preise, angenehme Atmosphäre, kein touristischer Schnickschnack. Absolut einen Besuch wert! (Englischsprachige Bedienung. Google Lens verwenden 😅)

Ich kann die guten Rezessionen hoher überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Das einzige das hier halbwegs ok war, war die Lage und der Gastgarten! Meine Käsespätzle, ja ok kann Geschmacksache sein , ABER das Schnitzel mit den Röstkartoffeln war eine bodenlose Frechheit , das man sich das servieren traut und am Ende noch nachfragt ob es eh geschmeckt hat grenzt an Verhöhnung !!! Das Schnitzel sowie die Kartoffeln siehe Foto mehr als verbrannt !!!

Leckeres Essen, wie bei Mutti. Nettes Personal, selbst der Chef kam vorbei und hat gefragt, ob alles passt.

Das Bier war gut. Ich bestellte ein Wiener Schnitzel mit Kartoffeln. Das ganze Essen war verbrannt, schwarz, ich musste es zurückgeben und bin gegangen.

Das einzige was man dort essen kann ist das Gulasch. Die Bedienung ist nicht sympathisch. Die Rouladen waren Stroh trocken. Die Wienerschnitzel war nicht richtig durch. Das Wirtshaus ist schön. Nachtisch ohne Geschmack.

Waren am Wochenende in München und haben das Restaurant in unserer Hotelnähe gefunden, es befindet sich auf einer Kleingartenanlage. Schaut von Außen schon sehr einladend aus, von Innen ist es schön eingerichtet. Das Personal ist freundlich gewesen und der Koch persönlich kam vorbei und fragte ob wir zufrieden sind, das waren wir 👍🏻 Würde ich nochmal nach München reisen, werde ich vorbeischauen.

Touristen sind nicht willkommen

Ursprüngliche 1860 München Gaststätte an einer Gartenanlage

Ich war jetzt längere Zeit in einem Hotel in der Nähe vom Metzger Rudi. Jeden Tag zum Mittagszeit bin ich dort gewesen und hab eine recht großen Teil der Speisekarte probiert. Jedes einzelne Gericht schmeckt hervorragend und wird frisch zubereitet. Wenn viel los ist, muss man dadurch auch etwas mit Wartezeit rechnen, dass lässt aber auch Rückschlüsse zu, dass die Speisen einfach frisch gemacht werden und nicht einfach nur aufgewärmt sind. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sensationell.

Ich wurde noch nie so unhöflich von jemanden bedient. Als wir rein kamen gab es keine Hallo sondern nur ein schnelles wir haben kein Platz. Daraufhin antwortete ich, dass wir reserviert haben und sie meinte wir sollten uns irgendwo dazu setzten. Das Essen war wirklich nicht gut. Das Schnitzel war trocken und der Kartoffel-Gurkensalat hat nach Nix geschmeckt. Nur die Fanta war gut, da diese nicht selbst gemacht war. Jeder der in der Nähe vom Plaza Hotel oder Liu übernachtet soll lieber zum McDonald’s gehen. Das Essen ist besser und die Mitarbeitet sind freundlicher.

Da wir in der Nähe ein Hotel gebucht hatten, sind wir abends zu Metzger Rudi gegangen. Die Begrüßung durch die Kellnerin fiel eher nüchtern aus. Wir bestellten dann ein Cordon Bleu mit Röstkartoffeln und Gulasch mit Nudeln. Das Gulasch war lecker, das Cordon Bleu ungenießbar, da viel zu lange gebraten, total trocken und auch schon dunkel gefärbt. Die Röstkartoffeln waren auch zu lange in der Pfanne. Das Gericht haben wir dann zurück gehenlassen. Dies wurde auch ohne Kommentar akzeptiert. Danach gab es noch einen Obstler, aber leider nicht vom Haus als kleine Entschuldigung. Insgesamt keine Empfehlung für dieses rustikale Restaurant.

Wir waren begeistert. Leckeres Essen, supernetter Service. Wenn man dann noch 1860er Fan ist, dann ist man dort genau richtig. Wenn wir wieder in München sind, kommen wir garantiert wieder!

Rustikal eingerichtetes Restaurant am Rand einer Kleingartensiedlung. Die Speisekarte ist deftig und bayrisch ausgerichtet, es gibt aber auch vegetarische Gerichte. Ich habe dort sehr lecker gegessen und empfehle die Lokalität sehr gerne weiter. Der Service war schnell und freundlich. Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Bezahlung allerdings nur cash.

Es tut mir leid, dass ein so gutes Hotel (Plaza) dieses Restaurant empfiehlt! Ich kann bestätigen, dass der Kellner unhöflich war. Ich hatte Wurst mit Sauerkraut (das Gericht war in Ordnung), meine Tochter hatte Roastbeef mit Kartoffeln: Die Kartoffeln waren schwarz (!), also verbrannt, und das Fleisch war kein Roastbeef, sondern ein etwas zähes Steak. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen.

A typical Bavarian garden restaurant. The owner is a 1860 Munich fan. Unfortunately, the food is inconsistent. Sometimes it's solid, home-style cooking, and other times it's not worth the money. For example, one evening we had a Wiener Schnitzel that wasn't freshly fried, but just reheated in a pan and was therefore slightly burnt. It tasted of old grease. The accompanying fried potatoes were nothing special. The service wasn't exactly friendly either.

Absolutely unacceptable – never again! Text: Butcher Rudi's is a complete disappointment. The service was incredibly unfriendly, rude, and disrespectful – we were practically yelled at for completely normal actions like ordering beer or asking about our food. A visit here feels like a punishment instead of a relaxed pub experience. People like that have no place in the hospitality industry. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place – I will definitely never go back.

Bavarian allotment gardens in the style of the 1860s.

This place is surprising. In a neighborhood of modern apartment buildings, at the end of a small path, you'll find a traditional Bavarian-style house with a lovely garden and terrace, and inside, a warm, simple, and typical atmosphere. They serve excellent homemade regional dishes with local beer.

A quaint garden restaurant, somewhat removed from the hustle and bustle. You get the feeling everyone knows everyone here, which is unusual for a big city. It serves delicious Bavarian cuisine, freshly tapped beer, and Rudi, the butcher himself, is in the kitchen.

The food was really good and nicely presented! Despite the crowds (all the tables were occupied), the atmosphere was very relaxed and cozy! It's a bit hidden, so I think it's a little insider tip if you're staying nearby, like in a hotel or similar.

The ambiance was traditional! We had the roast pork and the Wiener schnitzel. The roast pork was good, but the Wiener schnitzel was burnt on one side. We complained and (accompanied by a grumpy waitress) we got a new one. Unfortunately, this one wasn't much better. We would only recommend it with reservations.

Unassumingly located in a garden setting, we landed here with a little help from Google while searching for delicious food. The service is unique but very friendly, and the food was excellent value for money. We'll be back when we're in Munich again!

The nearby McDonald's would have been a better option. Being from Austria, we're spoiled for choice when it comes to good food. Here, I was sold rotten meat as roast pork.

A lovely, simple restaurant located within a garden colony with a beer garden feel. The location is a bit off the beaten track, but that doesn't detract from the taste.

Typical Bavarian-Munich restaurant for locals. If you want to see and feel how today's Bavarians feel in their own company, what are the current typical Bavarian dishes, this is the perfect place. Very little chance that you will meet tourists here.

Can I recommend Rudi's butcher shop? I'd say it's a good (not the best) alternative if you're hungry and have nothing better to eat. They also have better beer these days (Ajinger). The service is—as it has been for years—grumpy and polite. Anyone you don't know is initially perceived as an 'intruder.'

I've been a regular there for many years and enjoy going there. Bavarian delicacies and other good food are always available. In the summer, the beer garden features beautiful old chestnut trees and plenty of space, as well as a dedicated playground for children. You have to supervise your children at the playground yourself, of course. Reasonable prices and generous portions round out the experience. Note: You can't pay by card there; only cash.

Quiet area, attentive service. Unfortunately, the food wasn't good; the roast potatoes were tasteless. The Cordon Bleu lacked cheese and had too much bacon.

What an experience. I ended up there because it was the only restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. Let’s put it this way: you won’t leave hungry, but you probably won’t feel the urge to come back either. The salad was oddly warm, and the Käsespätzle came with almost raw onions. Come on—it’s 2025, card payment should be a given.

It smelled sooooo delicious, and we didn't have any cash. Card payments weren't accepted. What a shame. Next time we'll come for dinner. Our noses and eyes definitely say 5 stars :)

A traditional Bavarian restaurant (At Butcher Rudi) with a traditional menu. Food was good but service was very slow. We were there two and a half hours and had a main course and a dessert.

Unfortunately the food was of poor quality and the fat dripped from the meat. It was also cold and the last main course came after the first ones had already eaten. Understaffed in service and unfortunately very unfriendly due to the stress. Unfortunately not recommended.

As with so many here: Apparently only interested in regular guests. As a single person, I could not be seated at reserved (empty) tables. The waitress made no effort to accommodate me. They seem to earn enough money.

Nice restaurant near the Allianz Arena

We came across this economy by chance and completely without any expectation. We were in Munich for one night and the hotel was just around the corner. And it was really great. It's fresh and home-cooked, it's just rustic home cooking. But very tasty and above all down to earth. The price is also really fair. The service was very nice. All in all really great. Probably an insider tip for Munich conditions.

In addition to delicious food, if you are a fisherman you will get very good tips from Rudi. Let him tell you how he caught the largest pike ever caught in Germany (possibly in Europe) last year. 155cm and 48.9kg. Belated compliment! Only Rudi can do something like that!

Good hhomecooked food for a great price.

Very impolite. No service. No card payment, no other option other than cash payment. No permission to sit inside (even though it was empty). We are not customers either! Overall, a complete failure... The waitress complains that she is alone and can't do it. But there wasn't much going on either. Tourist tip: stay away!

Only German is spoken. Average prices or high compared to Italy. Food in the German average or very low compared to Italy. Cordon blue arrived burnt. No dishes on the menu. They do not accept credit/debit cards. I wouldn't go back.

Very authentic Bavarian restaurant with delicious home-cooked food. We had a B&B hotel nearby and didn't want to travel far to enjoy Bavarian cuisine. Good and cheap portions. 👍
