We went there for goose dinner. The waitress was very warm and friendly. The goose leg was very tender, and the red cabbage was also delicious. Considering the great taste and the friendly service, the price was perfectly reasonable. Parking is also free. We'll definitely be back in the summer.

We visited this afternoon (August 22, 2025). As soon as we entered, we noticed that this was a place where people put their heart and soul into their work, which was also confirmed by the food. Not suitable for parties – poor service and outdated furnishings We held a party here with a large group and were unfortunately disappointed. The entire operation is run by only two people – one cooks, the other serves. This left the service at our event extremely overwhelmed. The bill contained several errors, including incorrectly charged drinks and missing food. Our warnings about these errors were taken only half-heartedly or not at all. The furnishings are very outdated: tables and chairs are old, wobbly, and some are dirty, and the tablecloths are stained. Anyone planning to celebrate here is advised to bring their own tablecloths or dishes – but beware: bringing your own tablecloths will be charged extra, which wasn't clearly communicated beforehand. The terrace is also in need of renovation and appears unkempt. Conclusion: The beautiful location on the Pfingstberg unfortunately cannot compensate for the many shortcomings. Absolutely not recommended for larger events. Reply to your letter It's a shame that you don't want to acknowledge that errors were made in the billing. •Two items were billed under 'Miscellaneous', the contents of which were unclear. A subsequent justification – such as the use of a regular tablecloth outdoors – seems contrived and unjustified. Unfortunately, there is a lack of transparency here. • Instead of the actual 4 bottles of water, 6 were charged, and 1 sparkling wine was also charged too much (3 instead of 2). • The goulash is a regular dish from your menu and wasn't prepared exclusively for us – nevertheless, we were charged for 12 portions, even though we only received 10. Unfortunately, we only discovered these discrepancies the next day because I trusted you – in retrospect, a mistake. My guests will also understand if I approached them about the difference. In retrospect, I regret not having read your previous reviews before making the reservation, as they also contain similar references to billing problems and overwhelmed service. I'm also irritated that you only accept cash payments. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem particularly trustworthy or customer-friendly.

I celebrated my birthday here with about 30 people and was thrilled! We were allowed to do the decorating in advance. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful (even though Angelika was probably a bit stressed at times due to the large number of guests at the bar). They looked after us wonderfully from the beginning to the end of the party. I was recommended a DJ who had us dancing the night away with wonderful music! The food (buffet) was truly delicious! The dishes were freshly prepared and the presentation was very appealing. I can highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you for making my party such a wonderful event that will be remembered for a long time.

Published opening times are important for customers and you should stick to them. On the gate to the site it says from 12:00 p.m., but on the door to the restaurant it says: "Open on Friday from 3:00 p.m.". ☹️

Cozy inn with a beautiful beer garden. Quiet corner, parking spaces right in front, small playground. Perfect for a lunch break, dinner or post-hike snack! You can pay in cash or by instant bank transfer. Card payment is not possible due to internet problems.

Easter food is not for everyone (6 dishes, lamb fillet, pork fillet, pastured beef fillet, rabbit, monkfish, vegetarian). For 3 slices of fillet (still bloody), 5 croquettes, 1 orange slice and a few pan-fried vegetables 21 euros is really steep. The cook then came and said the fillet wasn't enough for everyone, so my in-laws had to choose another dish. I haven't experienced any of this yet. So if you're hungry you should take something to eat with you. CONCLUSION: Once and NEVER again.

Very nice quiet area. You can really have a good time there. The food was very tasty and really plentiful. The nice gentleman who served us was very friendly, but he was the only operator there, which is why everything took a little longer. And unfortunately he completely forgot about one meal... because he hadn't written anything down. And it was too much to remember. However, we still liked it and would eat there again.

Заведение в тихом месте, территория приятная- много зелени и цветов. Официант хороший; были с ребенком-предлагал игрушки и раскраски, принес холодную и комнатной температуры воду для ребёнка. Пиво вкусное, еда тоже не подвела, порции большие.

Spontan wollten wir gemeinsam den Nachmittag/Abend ausklingen lassen & fanden hier schnell für unsere größere Gruppe (ca. 10 Personen) Platz. Das Lokal ist in einer Nebenstaße in mitten einer Kleingartenanlage. Der Gastwirt ist speziell, aber nett. Das Servicepersonal aufmerksam & freundlich. Das Essen wurde frisch zubereitet & die Getränke waren schnell serviert. Die Einrichtung ist zur Umgebung passend, rustikal & etwas urig. Der Außenbereich grün & liebevoll gestaltet. Das Essen hat einigen nicht so gut geschmeckt und ist uns zum Teil auch auf Magen geschlagen. Fazit: für ein spontanes Treffen mit mehreren Personen gut. Wegen dem Essen würden wir nicht nochmal kommen.

Zum 100.jährigen bestehen des Garten Vereins. Es war gut organisiert und es wurde ein abwechslungsreiches Programm angeboten. Das Personal war trotz vieler Arbeit sehr freundlich.

Wir waren gestern zu einer Familienfeier dort. Perfekte Hähnchensteaks, Schnitzel, Leckere Salate und Gemüsepfanne auf den Punkt. Sehr freundlicher Besitzer und Personal. Sehr zu empfehlen für Familien.

Ich persönlich war das erste Mal hier und freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch, sicher bereits im Frühjahr!

Wir sind mehr oder weniger zufällig hier eingekehrt und, um es gleich vorwegzunehmen, sehr positiv überrascht worden. Die Speisekarte ist klein aber fein, und wir konnten so fast alle Gerichte testen, die alle sehr lecker waren. Das Personal ist ebenso freundlich wie aufmerksam, und das saisonale Bier vom Fass (hab leider die Sorte vergessen) ging runter wie Öl. Sollte ich wieder in der Gegend sein, schaue ich auf jeden Fall wieder rein. :)
