Anna Amalia in Potsdam

We stayed at Anna Amalia with friends on New Year's Eve and were really very satisfied. The food was very good. Even I, as a picky aunt, found a lot of things there. The atmosphere and music were also good. The dance floor could have been bigger, but it was enough. We will definitely be guests there again. Thank you for the great evening!

We have eaten here several times. It wasn't even disappointing, although the tense skilled labor situation is also noticeable here. But “Anna Amalia” is fully recommended👍👍👍❗️

Wir waren den 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag zum abendlichen Brunch. Es war absolut voll, fast schon zu voll. Das Foto mit dem Kamin hatte mich verzaubert. Nur saßen wir dort nicht. Wir saßen vor diesem schönen Raum. Das Buffet war in einem Zelt, welches an das Gebäude rangemacht wurde und auch nicht geschlossen war, aufgebaut. Unser Sitzplatz war , naja, bescheiden. Es war eng, die Kellner gestresst. Kühle Luft zog immer mal wieder durch. Das Buffet war reichhaltig, aber irgendwie war das Zelt zu Kühl. Es war sehr sehr voll. Weihnachtsatmosphäre kam nicht auf. Nochmal mach ich das nicht.

Wir waren im November/ Dezember wieder dreimal vor Ort und einmal (direkt Weihnachten) zum Abholen Verzehrer der leckeren Speisen. Die Enten immer unfassbar zart ( bei der Variante zum abholen hatten wir die Variante „warm“ gewählt, dazu dann noch eine Zubereitungsanleitung). Aber auch die Ochsenbacken und Schnitzel waren schmackhaft. Schön, dass das Team die gute Qualität seit Jahren konservieren kann. Danke, gerade das Weihnachtsessen (Enten mit Klössen und Grün- und Rotkohl) waren festlich sehr angemessen und lecker. Preislich absolut okay.

As is well known, this restaurant is located at a campsite. As guests of the square, we expected a rustic but good establishment. What we found far exceeded our expectations. Starting with the staff, who were super nice and always courteous, through the nice furnishings, to the absolutely high-class food. This year we spent New Year's Eve on site and were treated to a first-class buffet. Absolute recommendation from us. TOP! We'll be back👍🏼

Food wonderful and very, very tasty

We were there with friends for a New Year's Eve celebration. At the start of the party, each guest was greeted with a handshake at the entrance. The house was of course completely sold out. The buffet in the evening was terrific. The service and kitchen staff know their stuff, everyone was super friendly, that makes an impression. In any case, we were really impressed and we will stop by more often from now on to eat. Thank you again for the wonderful hours at the turn of the year.

Super great food, very nice team and cozy atmosphere. There are four of us here for New Year's Eve and we go to the restaurant every day. Since it's really so good, we wouldn't even think of cooking it ourselves... The menu is also so varied that you have many options. The restaurant was part of the reason we came back this year.

Very extensive buffet on Christmas Day. It was always refilled immediately. Tastes very good. Also very large selection for allergy sufferers, with the best labeling. The employees were very friendly, helpful, attentive and competent. We can highly recommend the house and want to be there again for the next Christmas buffet.

We treated ourselves to the Christmas buffet (all-you-can-eat) on Christmas Day. The food selection was extensive and varied. There was something for every taste. Despite the high number of guests, we were full. The service staff was always friendly and accommodating. We would like to come back next year as the price-performance ratio was absolutely reasonable. Thank you Team Anna Amalia.

It's just a treat at Christmas every year. A very friendly team, with great attention.

The portions are large and super tasty. The service is very friendly and quick. The price is ok and the location is very comfortable.

Six of us went there for the Christmas buffet on Boxing Day and were really looking forward to it because we had heard a lot of good things about Anna Amalia. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in the end. The tables in the restaurant were far too narrow to accommodate as many guests as possible and the background noise was correspondingly loud. Added to this was the unfavorable arrangement of the buffet and dining area. Right at the beginning there was a lot of crowding because the buffet area and the entrance area crossed each other. We then wanted to have a good time and not overload our plates, but since several buffets from Anna Amalia were planned for that day, there was considerable time pressure. A cozy get-together was immediately stopped because after 90 minutes the hall was already being re-set for the next event. The buffet was also emptied very quickly in many places, which meant that after an hour you couldn't get any more of a lot of the food (because it wasn't refilled at some point) or you could only scrape together leftovers. Since the buffet was quite expensive, it was a very disappointing experience. Especially since children also had to pay the full price unless they are under 10 years old. What we ate was tasty and the service was also very friendly. But we wouldn't go there again for a special occasion. Anna Amalia may be lovely on normal days, but it's best avoided on public holidays.

“Just be happy” is what it says on the advertising flyer and that’s exactly what it says. It was absolutely perfect. The food was absolutely top class. The friendliness of every single employee is particularly noteworthy. The team is extremely well-coordinated. The location is very, very nice. After finding our way from the parked car through the catering area with now very dirty shoes, we were greeted warmly but were not found on the guest list. When we asked a member of staff, this was clarified and we were escorted to our place and we were able to get up after an unpleasant start take a seat in our garden chairs. After ordering drinks and going through the guest rooms, we got to the buffet, with a large selection but unfortunately not very nice to look at because not every guest here was doing things the way you would like and imagine. After we were back at the table and half of the deliciously prepared food had been eaten, the drinks we had initially ordered arrived. Our conclusion, parking situation, too few parking spaces, it was parked wildly in nature on muddy ground. Service could be improved, food was tasty but presented poorly, dining room was very noisy and overcrowded, Christmas atmosphere and joy of a nice meal could not arise in this setting. Too bad.....

We were very excited about everything. There was mulled wine for the waiting time outside until the entrance. That was a very nice idea. We had a nice table. The food didn't come from the freezer or the packaging but was prepared with a lot of love and passion. The service was friendly and very pleasant. Everything was consistent. We didn't need to cook. There were 4 of us at the Christmas buffet in the evening on December 26th, 2024! A large dog was also there and announced beforehand! We went to the Christmas buffet in the Anna Amalia restaurant for the fourth time on Christmas Day 2024. Everything was organized very well and we felt very comfortable. We got the food from the buffet, it all looked very appetizing and very appealing. The goose leg with dumplings and kale was very tasty. The buffet with desserts was also very varied and tasty. Anyone who had an appetite for fish or various salads was well served. All in all it was a very nice Christmas dinner. A big compliment and thank you to the entire team at Restaurant Anna Amalia 👍. I can only recommend it.

We actually like eating here. But we weren't so happy with the Christmas buffet. A lot of effort was put into it and everything went according to plan. But there were simply too many guests on site. Couples of visitors sat at small tables, some of them the whole time next to guests queuing at the buffet - certainly not nice. The choice of food was good, but some of the food was only lukewarm (e.g. pasta or vegetables) or only partially cooked (vegetables). You couldn't "eat" almost €55 plus drinks. The staff was hard-working and friendly, but couldn't change the impression of mass processing. Too bad!

That was an extraordinary evening! The reception, starter and main course - the roast goose - as well as the dessert were great! We haven't enjoyed such a well-prepared roast goose for a long time. The dumplings were perfectly fluffy and covered in brown butter, the red cabbage, like Nuts, and the kale freshly cooked to perfection. Not to forget: The service: attentive, always there and extremely friendly...

It was implemented without any problems and was very tasty. The goose was crispy, tender and plentiful! Great. There was a small greeting from the kitchen. Also very tasty and nice. The staff friendly and attentive. Everything is great.

For us, Anna Amalia is clearly the best restaurant in Potsdam. EVERYTHING is just right here....Great staff, always friendly and attentive. The food is always 6 stars+. No matter whether it's lunch...coffee and cake or dinner. Wishes are fulfilled here. So if you want to eat delicious food and like friendly service, you're in good hands here.

After pair skating in the MBC Arena, running friends took me to this restaurant. It was brilliant. Waiter Ansar was super nice. Since I have some allergies, I was initially unsure whether I would get a nice meal. I chose the mixed grill plate. My allergies were taken into account. It tasted excellent. Big compliments to the kitchen. Many thanks to the entire team.

First of all: it was great. We were here with a group of 10 people. The service - especially Ines - was super nice, friendly, attentive and just great. I have rarely felt so kind and well treated. And the food was absolutely top. Not only was there a delicious "greeting from the kitchen" beforehand, the food we ordered was excellent, the portions were large, the price-performance ratio was perfect and everyone enjoyed it more than just good. The espresso was served with a cute little ice cream and the sundaes we ordered were also simply delicious. You can sit very nicely and comfortably by the fireplace and just have a good time. It was a really successful evening and the restaurant is highly recommended. We'll definitely be back!! My new absolute favorite restaurant in Potsdam!!

I celebrated my birthday here with 9 people. We had a lovely time sitting by the warm fireplace, the staff was very friendly, the food was always very tasty and came quickly, the portions were plentiful and at an absolutely reasonable price. We'd love to come back!!!

Everything is just perfect! Since I have to eat gluten-free, it is otherwise very difficult or impossible to eat out somewhere. Different here! This is my third time here and every time I'm happy and satisfied. From reservation to farewell. They also pay close attention to ensuring that if you order gluten-free, the food is also gluten-free. Today I celebrated my birthday here and I'm happy. The selection of food and gluten-free options is large! The gluten-free and vegan dishes are marked on the menu and are therefore immediately recognizable, which makes the selection much easier. The service is attentive, friendly and despite a lot of work, the staff and the boss always have a smile on their faces. They are also large portions. Nobody stays hungry. The food is absolutely delicious and the price/performance ratio is great! I think you can go out to eat here even if your wallet isn't that full. Anna Amalia convinced me and is definitely my favorite restaurant! Keep it up!!!

It was a very nice evening. The environment was right, the service was very attentive and yet discreet. The food was very tasty, but too much for a "normal eater". Unfortunately, it was very restless due to the many guests.

Just a real pleasure every time. The service is absolutely top every time. The ambience is beautiful, nice in the winter by the fireplace and in the summer on the terrace with a wonderful view of the water. Mit einer Gruppe von 20 Freunden waren wir gestern im Anna Amalia Restaurant zum gemeinsamen Martins-Gänseessen. Wir waren alle begeistert von der ausgezeichneten Küche, allen kulinarischen Überraschungen rund um die schön angerichteten Gänse, die immer für vier Leute auf der Tafel serviert wurden. Und es gab Gänsepastete als Vorspeise und Einstimmung. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden udn hatten einen fröhlichen Abend am Kamin.

Very nice staff and super delicious food

On November 11th, 2024 we went to St. Martin's goose dinner with friends. Since there were 9 of us, we had pre-ordered for 5 p.m. When we arrived at 5 p.m. everything was lovingly set up. Our wish to get a table by the blazing fireplace was also fulfilled. Thank you. The roast goose and the little greeting from the kitchen were very tasty. Many thanks to the chef and his team. The service was also very attentive. We had a lovely time in a lovely atmosphere and would love to come back.

The place is a bit difficult to find, trust the signs on the street, not Google. Parking lot right in front of it. The rustic, spacious ambience is harmonious, the service is quick and friendly, the food is very good (excellent duck or veal liver), the portions are so large that you fill up well and the whole thing is worth the price. Just don't go too late, the guests here aren't midnight eaters. Gladly again.

A large map on which you can find almost everything your heart desires. The service is quick and very friendly. The food is fresh and very tasty. Whether directly from the campsite or after a hike through the beautiful Potsdam landscape, it is a great place with a view of Lake Templin.

Ines was a super friendly waitress last Saturday. Their homemade mulled wine was excellent. The French fish soup was very tasty. It's a shame that there is no menu in front of the restaurant.

Wir haben spontan ein Restaurant gesucht und sind ohne Reservierung dort hin gefahren. Das Beste aus unserer Sicht ist die Lage, direkt am Templiner See. Ob die Lage direkt am Eingang zu einem Campingplatz so toll ist, muss jeder für sich selbst entscheiden. Die Speisekarte ist riesig, wodurch die Entscheidung schwierig ausfiel. Bei und wurden leider zwei von vier essen falsch geliefert, Fisch anstatt Fleisch, Kartoffeln anstatt Pommes. Die Kellnerin war sehr freundlich, hat jedoch leider im Laufe des Abend einiges durcheinander gebracht.
